Very friendly, caring and professional staff at Bridgewater View site. Hilary supported us through a long meeting to finalise the reservation of the house. She was patient and knowledgeable about all aspects.

Hilary at Bridgewater View, Daresbury, was excellent. She gave us all the support and knowledge we needed to reserve our dream home. She answered all of our questions, kept us up to date with the progress, and was always warm and welcoming. No question ever felt like a silly question, and she took the time to explain everything clearly, making us feel reassured and confident throughout the process.

These homes are a disgrace, problem after problem. They Evan can't finish the pavements and the roads without constantly digging up the roads time after time.not recommended at all.

We are currently in the process of purchasing a property, and our experience with Castle Green Homes- Rydal View has been excellent so far.
Hearher has been incredibly kind, professional, and attentive throughout the entire process. She has always taken the time to listen to our needs and ensure that we felt supported every step of the way.

Sian has also been absolutely fantastic. Her guidance and expertise have helped us better understand the land, the purchase process, and all the details involved. She has been patient, knowledgeable, and always willing to answer our questions.

The whole team has made what can often be a stressful experience feel much more straightforward and enjoyable. We truly appreciate their professionalism, responsiveness, and genuine care. We would highly recommend Castle Green Homes.

I actually don't have enough words to convey our disappointment and indeed anger at this company, who sold us a dream home, but delivered us a nightmare at Bridgewater View Daresbury. We had initally given CG the opportunity to make things right after we moved into our property in March'26 and identified over 250 snags, not just minor issues, the majority are major issues, that have caused us severe stress, inconvenience and major disruption to our lives.

Although our complaint has been heard, I do not think the aftersales customer service process has been acceptable. So we feel we must speak up to address and give an honest account of this alleged 5* builder whom have been nothing short of diabolical since we collected our keys from the lovely front of house sales negotiators.... from there it falls apart.
So far we have had a whole house repaint, top to bottom, new windows, a wall knocked out and rebuilt, ceiling lights repositioned, and holes filled to make good where they were incorrectly installed, a new shower, tray, and screen, a new bath, 2 tiles to the bathroom replaced as they were glaringly the wrong colour from the others and laid ...new doors, handles,repairs to wardrobes, a drain installed across our garage as it flooded as no one had thought to consider that as the driveway is on a slight slope rain water will travel and cause water damage to our items in storage there.... the list goes on and on with things still outstanding, mentioned are just a few.
These issues are still being addressed and there is no end in sight, in addition we change our working patterns to accommodate the different tradespeople booked and then people don't turn up as promised to complete their jobs, leading to more delays and further inconvenience. We do have lives you know CG, and you are SEVERELY impacting them!!!
(However as a NB, i have to give praise to the Multi tasker & painted assigned to our house who now feel like lodgers as they have been with us that long, who have both In turn turned this house around to what now is an acceptable standard)
BUT....
Is this really what is to be expected in purchasing a new build home from Castle Green? Apparently not, according to their construction director, but if not, why are we still experiencing such appalling service and being subjected to constant stress for 10 weeks.

Advice...potential buyers beware, save yourselves the disappointment and stress and go down the road to Redrow, wish we did.

We were very impressed when visited the development at Rydal View in Colwyn Bay in March 26
The development is is an excellent location and the show houses were very expressive.
Fantastically designed, which untiise every space.
But the reason we decided to purchase a property on the development was the professionalism, help and support which we received from the sale staff at the developement.
Heather was outstanding at put us at ease and attentive every question that we asked.
We don't think we would have reserved the property at Ryal View other than for the her kindness and help she gave to us.
Fiona who was part of the team was was also excellent and as a team we couldn't have asked for more.
We are very excited to be moving to our new property property at Rydal View this June.

Myself and partner have just visited the Trevalyn Place development. We were only driving past and decided to call in. Although we are not ready to purchase our first home just yet we will certainly be finding a Castle Green development when we are. Very welcoming and informative visit. We talked to both Kelly and Ellis and came away feeling excited for our future. Beautiful homes Castle Green well done.

We’ve recently purchased a home from Castle Green Homes on the Trevalyn Place estate in Rossett, and we honestly couldn’t be happier with the entire experience.

From start to finish, the process has been completely seamless. The house itself is outstanding—finished to a very high standard—and any small snags have been dealt with incredibly quickly and efficiently by Andy and the team.

Having had a poor experience with another developer in the past, we were naturally quite cautious about buying a new build again. However, this experience has completely restored our confidence. Kelly and Kirsten, in particular, have been absolutely exceptional—guiding us through negotiations, helping us choose the right plot to suit our timeline, and maintaining clear, consistent communication throughout. She really has been out of this world.

The whole team are a real credit to Castle Green Homes, and we’re genuinely excited to spend many happy years in what we hope will be our forever home.

My review is more about after the completion of my property at the Sŵn y môr, Prestatyn. For me, this is the important bit.

There were two delays to completion. the first being 3 months and the last one being the day before completion for a further week. To be honest, they should have delayed for at least another 2 weeks as meeting completion was rushed and certain aspects were not completed on time. The home demo should have been two weeks before completion however it happened on the day of completion while work was still going on, no turf, half the fences, landscaping ongoing, cleaners still cleaning, access blocked by vans and trucks and difficulty in hearing due to pavement being dug up due to problems with water meters, not to mention the clouds of dust. It was like a scene out of BBC's DIY SOS. So the euphoria and excitement of the completion/keys handover experience was tarnished somewhat. However Kelly from Sales, did her best to make it a very good day.

Saying all this, the sales team have been exceptional in their help, advice and understanding. Kelly and Sally (based at Trevalyn Place), Fiona (Rydal View), Lynsey (Sales Manager) and Sian (Sales Director) who deserves a special thank you for making sense of the chaos and making things happen.

After completion, Gethyn Evans (Site Manager) took the reigns. What a guy! He is very visible, approachable and takes a personal interest. I can call him or text anytime and he responds efficiently. He even just calls around randomly to see if everything is OK and if I need anything. The snags are being dealt with in a timely manner. No problem is too small or complicated. Clearly he is very passionate about his profession and takes great pride in his work, going above and beyond his responsibilities to make home owners' move and ownership as smooth and perfect as possible.
