I waited the 2 weeks quarantine period and then they refused to send me my money on time because I didn’t confirm my mobile number. Defo would not recommend using this service

Bit skeptical about this website due to reviews saying about scams.
But I have nothing bad to say about this website as I sold an unwanted voucher and bought one I wanted and the process took a while. But was worth it in the end and I’m happy.

I tried to sign up but the website doesn't even open. Are they still in operation?

Planning on visiting Alton Towers this weekend. Looked on this site and saw a voucher for Virgin Experience Days valued at £40 but on sale for £28. Bought the gift card and was sent in seconds after purchase. Card worked no problem. All booked for the weekend. Would definitely use again.

Customer service is really good, they resolve the issue lately, I'm a buyer

DO NOT BUY!!!
I BOUGHT A VIRGIN EXPERIENCE GIFT CARD WORTH 150 POUNDS. THEN I WENT TO USE IT AND THE BALANCE WAS 0. NOW, CARDYARD ARE SAYING 3 OR 4 DAYS BEFORE I EVEN MIGHT GET MY MONEY BACK.
ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING SERVICE.. NOW WHAT DO THEY SIT ON MY MONEY?
THEY REPLIED AND SAID THE REFUND HAS BEEN PROCESSED. NOW THEY ARE LYING AS IT HASNT AT ALL BEEN PROCESSED

As a seller, Cardyard has been very useful to sell gift cards that me and my other half no longer needed.
We were always worried about gift cards that would expire by the time we wanted to use them, especially high value ones, as it always feels risky putting a code into a website, and then selling it online. What if something went wrong? Or we got scammed?
That's when we found Cardyard, we were hesitant for a few weeks in using it, but eventually we decided to, and we are so glad that we did!
The onboarding process was quick and easy. The first card we sent we had to do an ID check which was seamless. We were instructed every step of the way by Cardyard's system on what we needed to do, whether it be an ID check or send the gift card to their email, and we were explicitly told the exact payment date of the funds.
It is also worth noting that they have a 2 week quarantine period from the date of sale to the payment date, which is completely understandable due to the risk of fraud by users.
When the date of the payment was due, it was in our bank by 2PM. It is worth noting that you can receive funds even later, but usually by 17:30 that day.
We have now decided to sell other gift cards we didn't need, and as a returning user who was already ID checked on their system, it was even easier the second time round. The card has been sold and we are in the quarantine period until funds are released. But due to how easy and smooth it was the first time, we expect no issues at all.
So in summary, if you are having doubts about selling a gift card on Cardyard, please give it a go. There is certain safe guards and mechanisms in place that prevent scamming or fraud, so you can rest easy knowing that your gift card is in safe hands.
If you are looking to buy, then I can't give a specific review on that, as we haven't used it for buying, but I will say that if it's as easy as selling a gift card, then it's definitely worth buying a gift card from them.
So do give them a go if you are unsure, it was certainly worth it for us.

I am extremely disappointed and angry about my recent experience with Cardyard, and I feel obligated to warn other potential buyers.
I purchased two Amazon gift cards through their platform in good faith, trusting that a marketplace like this would ensure the validity of the products being sold. Shockingly, both cards were already applied to another account before I even attempted to redeem them. One case is being handled with a refund in progress, but the second card (ending in 7HBN) has been left in limbo.
After nearly a week of waiting, the only response I received was that they are “waiting for the seller to reply.” Even more unacceptable was their statement that discounted gift cards come with the risk that “a card might not work.” That is not a reasonable explanation. A discount does NOT justify selling a completely invalid, already-used code.
As a customer, I did not transact with an unknown seller — I paid through their platform, expecting basic consumer protection. If buyers are expected to absorb the risk of invalid products while the platform simply waits indefinitely for sellers to respond, then what exactly is the value of using the platform?
The lack of urgency, accountability, and a clear resolution timeline is deeply concerning. No customer should have to chase for updates or accept uncertainty after paying for a product that was invalid from the start.
I strongly urge anyone considering purchasing from this platform to think carefully and understand the risks involved. Buyer protection appears weak, and resolution depends heavily on seller cooperation rather than proactive platform responsibility.
I hope this review encourages meaningful improvements — but until my case is properly resolved, I cannot recommend this platform to anyone.

When a company says it will supply a service and then it doesn't do it in a timely manner and they keep your money and you're only option is to ask the bank to return the money they then suggest that it's your fault and you're a bad customer. there are plenty of other companies supplying cards who make a mistake and then correct it immediately companies are judged by their customer service not just stuff you will do what we want if you don't like it lump it. a very good company ethos .
I've waited 2 days for a reply nobody seems to be there on their live chat I keep adding cards and when I go to pay it says not available for purchase or sale I eventually got one and they said they would be checking and then said I couldn't buy it not very good customer service non-existent

Bought 5 cards. 3 worked, 2 didnt. Live chat on the website doesn't work and there's no phone support.

Overall, the concept is strong. Being able to turn unwanted gift cards into cash is genuinely useful, and the option to buy discounted gift cards is a real bonus. I also understand and support the quarantine period, as it clearly helps reduce fraud.
Where Cardyard falls down is communication. I had to ask the same question four times on live chat before getting a clear answer, and I received no notification when my card sold. For a service built on trust, this lack of proactive communication is a big weakness.
Looking at public responses to negative reviews, the tone often feels defensive rather than customer-centric. Based on my experience with support and how feedback appears to be handled, I would think carefully before using the service again.
***Edited review due to poor contradictory email and even worse response when I pointed how their own email is incorrect****

I purchased an Amazon voucher and when I tried to use it the same day, was told by Amazon it had already been redeemed. Frustrating but at least Cardyard would refund me...or so I thought. Wrong. Their response is that I would have to hang around for an estimated 3 or 4 days whilst they 'investigate'. Not worth the hassle for the minimal saving. Avoid!!
Update - Investigation complete. Remarkably, it was found that the card was already redeemed as Amazon had stated. Who could have guessed? Cardyard have now decided it will be a further 3 and a half days before they initiate a refund.
I suggest Cards2Cash as a better alternative. Customer service seem to care and discounts are typically greater.

I have bought and sold many times on cardyard, primarily Amazon vouchers. Buying them you have the benefit of saving a few % on Amazon orders, and for other websites you can save much higher percentages. The gift cards I’ve sold are sold very quickly, usually the next day, and always been paid 14 days after. This 14 day wait is necessary as it’s a holding period essentially, in case anything goes wrong. It’s a necessary safety precaution to protect all parties. Cardyard is a very good middleman service for obtaining or selling off your gift cards and will continue using them when necessary.

I've bought 10 giftcards so far. no problems at all, instant delivery.

My first purchase was frustrating. I bought an Amazon voucher, which should have been worth £76.34.
Strange number, but there we are.
However, when I applied the voucher to my Amazon account, it only credited me with £74.36. So I was £1.98 short. I thought "This is a bit of a scam, I won't bother with this again".
But, in fairness, the Cardyard customer support team resolved this problem quickly and refunded me the "missing" £1.98.
So, proving that good customer service can make up for any deficiencies in the product, I thought I'd give it another go.
I have since made three further Amazon gift card purchases from Cardyard and they have all gone through smoothly and for the correct amounts.
Summary: 75% of my Cardyard purchases have gone well, and their customer services team fixed the problem with the other 25%.
Small sample size I know, but that's been my experience.
Overall: happy.
Basically I can now get 3% off all my Amazon shopping. "Every little helps", as a different company used to say...

Used to use their services which seem to be good but until now they want to verify my purchases which they have done before I used them at first. Do not use them if you do not want to get stressed by these people

Very smooth process. I sold an unwanted gift card. The process consisted of filling in a quick form, uploading proof of the gift card and then waiting for payment, I was advised at the time this would take 2 weeks. As promised, I received payment today. Very easy and I will be using this website again. Thanks
