Great experience from start to finish. Staff checking in prior to our appointment to test drive the car we have now bought. Always polite and friendly. Thank you to Hamza who was outstanding and sorted us a great deal. He made our trade in and purchasing a really smooth transition. Bought 4 cars from Carbase—but the Weston aftersales team has lost my custom forever
The sales team at Carbase has always been brilliant, which is why this is actually my fourth car from them. However, the appalling aftersales and management team at Carbase Weston-super-Mare have completely destroyed my trust, and I will never buy from this company again.
My vehicle suffered a premature failure of a timing chain repair carried out by Carbase last year—failing within just 16,000 miles. Because of the severity of this mechanical fault and the total lack of local resolution, this is now a formal dispute officially raised with both my Finance Company and the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), and is currently awaiting an independent inspection.
Despite the legal and regulatory sensitivity of this case, the Weston branch has completely abandoned any shred of customer service. I have chased this matter SEVEN times via service advisors, who keep assuring me that Teams messages and emails have been sent to management.
Lee (Workshop Manager) explicitly promised a callback as a matter of urgency. He ignored it.Anthony (Area Manager) explicitly promised he would get the full details from the workshop and call me back as a matter of urgency. He ignored it.To be repeatedly ignored and given false promises of urgent callbacks by branch and area management—especially as a loyal, repeat customer—is completely unacceptable.
If anyone at corporate headquarters actually cares about customer retention or regulatory compliance, you have my file.

I cannot believe how easy it was
I cannot believe how easy it was. From the moment I contacted Blake at Carbase I was put at ease. I mentioned that as I was coming from 3 hours away I would appreciate being able to drive the car home the same day.
Nothing was too much trouble for them and at no moment was I pressured to take on any additional products that I did not want. I would recommend them to anyone as the car had been through their inspection, it came with new brake pads and discs at the front and new tyres. It was like buying from a main dealer without the extra expense and time wasting.
I would recommend them to friends and family with no hesitation. If you would like a friendly hassle free experience ask for Blake !
