Sites always tidy facilities always kept clean and wardens friendly and helpful. The only downside are the prices on popular sites quite expensive

Since we joined 18months ago we have stayed at 5 different locations in the UK and found them all to be very well looked after, toilets/showers blocks always clean as as the sites. We have found the staff very friendly and helpful on all sites visited.

Not recommended in August. Site was full of noisy families, loud music both from outfits and cars. No regard for others' privacy, cutting across people's pitches. Kids racing round on motorised bikes. Mass games of hide and seek around pitches and facilities block, long after dark. Even a boy on a scooter racing up and down inside the ladies. Dirty dishes washed in laundry regularly. Litter and even full bags of rubbish just dumped. Fire warnings not heeded, witnessed 2 campers pitch so close, that their roll out awnings touched, then lit their bbq underneath, frightening in the present climate. A couple of pitches were left in such a terrible (and hazardous) state that it took staff several hours to clear them. It just felt like a total free for all. I'm not sure what the site staff are supposed to do to manage such a huge issue. Frankly if people won't follow reasonable rules they should not be allowed to renew their membership. I've spent 12 weeks on CAMC sites this year, but I'm sure other commercial sites must be better than this particular site.
Oh, did I mention the dead rat that was under the drinking water grid for several days? We were relieved to leave frankly, just not what we expect from CAMC.

Service pitch, well presented site, helpful and friendly wardens, peaceful and beautiful site and surroundings, layout of site with open areas and quiet glades, walks on site and off site forest walks minutes away from the site. Short drive to historic Carlisle with the cathedral and castle well worth visiting plus many shopping areas some car free, Hadrians Wall 5 stars for the army museum and Vindolanda which you need a day for, Solway Firth scenic drive.
Yes we enjoyed ou stay!

Had to move my dates for a week away in Anglesey. Tried changing them on the website with no joy, so called to speak to an operator. I got through to Sam. What a charming, patient and helpful operator he was. Made the changes for me in a flash. What I thought was going to be a complicated matter, turned out to be the complete opposite.
Thanks to Sam
Cheers!!!

Not all wardens are the same for instance Coniston park has some absolutely exceptional wardens where as our experience at Hawes three years ago we found the worst wardens we have ever come across as I detailed in an email to you

Very helpful, friendly staff. Facilities are all very well looked after and it was the cleanest WC emptying point that I've ever seen. Phil came out to sort our arrival as we were later than 1800 and was really helpful.

Review of The Centenary club site. Excellent site, full service pitches were great, great size and allow you to have dog fencing unlike some of the other New Forest Camping sites. Showers were spotlessly clean with plenty of hot water and lovely powerful showers. Nice onsite bar with food vans 7 days of the week if you don't fancy cooking. Plenty of lovely walks, dog area, dog agility and great children's areas with outdoor games. Good onsite shop and anpr entry gates. Really quiet in the evenings which is nice and relaxing. Would definitely recommend 👌
