Absolutel gem of a site
Absolutel gem of a site, the location is awesome with breathtaking views over to Wales and down the Dee estuary. A brilliant disused railway track next to the site entrance makes for excellent cycling and walking. The staff are extremely friendly and informative. The only negative is the shower blocks not being available at 1030, if you are not an early riser it is hard to get a shower at a convenient time.

I am sorry to read that you found it difficult to grab a shower at a time convenient to you. Our site teams have a number of cleaning duties that they carry out daily, whilst they do try to find the right balance for cleaning, this does have to be completed prior to 1pm each day. This one of our favourite sites .
This one of our favourite sites always a pleasure to visit.
The staff are excellent always polite and helpful, special mention to Peter, we had a problem with the motor mover on arrival he helped me to push the caravan into position.
The toilet and shower block unfortunately are outdated, they need modernising.
Although the staff keep them nice and clean and tidy and it doesn't stop our enjoyment.
It would be great if their was a bus stop near the site.
The Wirral way is great for walking etc and near the site is Flissies cafe which is excellent.

However the large number of rabbits are leaving there dropping everywhere.
We found this to be worrying as these can cause serious problems.

Due to the rural nature of many of our Club Campsites we do have a multitude of wildlife that visit as well as our guests. Should the site teams ever have concerns about droppings from any wildlife they would deal with this accordingly.

Renewing my caravan insurance
Time to renew my caravan insurance. CAMC have made quite a few changes this year to the T's and C's but have treated renewing customers very fairly indeed. I have also moved home and storage place, so loads of changes all round! The changes have made a few pence difference to the price, so I'm letting it renew without any hesitation!!

Just returned from a 2 month trip to Europe in our campervan. CAMC sites were great, from NL, Germany, Italy and France, easy to book online on the road, great facilities on site. Fabulous trip, well worth the membership

Went The Extra Mile To Beat Previous Insurer's Renewal Quote
True to their claim, the quote provided beat my previous insurer's quote by £25. After paying for the new policy I then needed to ring Devitt to ensure they had received the document proving the price I had been quoted by my previous insurer. Unprompted, 'Jack' put me on hold and told me he could get an even better price. After some time, and obviously effort on Jack's part, he came back to tell me he had managed to reduce the quote by a further £60. This was because I had included some of the brokerage fees in the price of my previous renewal. Fantastic introduction to CAMC/Devitt insurances services, and many thanks to Jack for the great service today. All told I have saved over £80 on this year's renewal so can highly recommend getting a quote!

Always friendly staff
Always friendly staff, the sites are always clean and tidy with well kept grounds. All information about surrounding areas readily available (Cheddar site) and shop has the essentials if you've forgotten an odd item.

Rude and incompetent
Rude and incompetent. Gave me a half reasonable quote although ignored several key things I had stated. I called again to query (what is normal for every other company) if there was a grace period to fit tracker as schedule stated no theft cover if no tracker, others give about a week...Only to be told that categorically there was zero insurance cover, not even road use, without a tracker. This was blatantly in opposition to the stated terms they had sent. I sent an email complaining about this and looking for a result but they completely ignored me..
I would say the Lady I initially spoke to was very polite, that was the only reason I gave them a third chance but I went elsewhere now, they dont deserve to be in business. C&MC, please dont try to hide behind ''oh, devit insurance is a different company''.. You recommend them, you are business partners if not co-owners...I think I dodged a bullet there.

The site was very clean and tidy and the toilet blocks were of a really high standard. The staff were very friendly. The club WiFi though is completely useless; you either can’t get on or get kicked off straight away and it is totally not fit for purpose.
