Customer Service never picked up the call!
I have tried to call the customer service 3 days in a roll, and everyday minimal 3 times...They have never picked up the telephone!! The last contact was 9 days ago, I was lucky to reach them but they didn't solve my problem in stead of sending me a bunch of emails in French!! What a ridiculer service!

I do not recommend under any circumstances. You pay 6 months in advance, you also pay for insurance so that if you can't go or simply don't want to get any of your deposit back.
But unfortunately this is not the case. We can't or don't want to go anymore, it's our business, we sent the E mail because simply canceling doesn't work. We received a very quick reply asking us the reason to see if it is covered by insurance. We said the reason, medical, now they want proof from the doctor. Unthinkable, worse than the FBI. Any hotel gives you the freedom to cancel , without reason , of course with loss of some money , but this is normal . But not here, no matter how early you wanted to cancel.

On Sunday, May 28th, my family and I arrived at your park earlier than the check-in time. While waiting for our room to be ready, we decided to explore the facilities on site. During our visit to the bar area, a young French girl, who did not speak English, approached my three young children aged 5, 7, and 9. To our surprise, she offered them ice cream from the machine, while the bar staff were present and observed the situation. The children gladly accepted the ice cream, and nothing was said or objected to at that moment. We enjoyed our time, waiting for our room in the hot weather.
After a 30-minute wait past 4 pm, we finally received our room keys, which was later than the promised time. Although it was a minor inconvenience, we understood that delays can happen. We proceeded to our room to settle in after an exhausting 11-hour journey from Newcastle, UK. Approximately an hour later, we returned to the bar area to see if there was any football being televised and to have some drinks. As my partner and I were searching for a table in the now busy area, our children went ahead to help themselves to some more ice cream, just as they had done earlier.
At that moment, when I was entering the bar area, one of your bar staff members abruptly left his position behind the bar, approached the ice cream machine, and started shouting directly in the faces of my children. I was utterly disgusted and appalled by this behavior, especially considering that the same person had been friendly and welcoming, despite his limited knowledge of English. This sudden change in attitude towards my 7-year-old daughter, whom he referred to as a "putain" while shouting "not free, not free," was completely unacceptable.
I was in complete shock, as no one should ever be subjected to such derogatory language, particularly not during a family holiday. I felt compelled to report this incident to the police due to the verbal assault. In an attempt to diffuse the situation, I immediately offered to pay for the ice cream, which I did. However, the damage was already done. The bar area was filled with customers who witnessed the incident, and my family and I were humiliated in front of them, effectively ruining the beginning of our holiday. I reported the incident to the office staff, who offered a free toy as compensation. However, my young daughter was distraught and insisted on going home. We requested a transfer to another park, which was arranged with the help of the receptionist the next day.
Upon arrival at the new park, we were unexpectedly asked to pay an additional 84 euros, without any prior communication regarding the extra charge. Unfortunately, we were left with no choice but to pay the amount since returning to the initial park was out of the question following the aforementioned incident.

no reply to emails and phone calls
I made a booking on December 6th and needed to change the dates. This cannot be done online. The camping is unreachable and the customer service can't change the booking...
yet, they have taken my money...
and there is no possibility to cancel either!
Route La Blanche
Route La Blanche - avoid totally. Arrived and someone already set up on our pitch so was told to go to another one only to be told 2 days later, by the director of the site, in no uncertain terms that we had to move or leave!!!! There was no consideration of the inconvenience this would cause and certainly no empathy and it certainly wasn't their error!!!!!
Other pitch was not ready next morning, albeit we were, but they decided a tree needed cutting down first!!! Wasted a whole day mucking about!!!! Showers either stone cold or scalding hot. Only good thing was the weather and the company. We will never book with Capfun again, awful.
Hopefully it’ll be better next year...

SCAMMING SINGLE PARENTS
If I could give it 0 I would. Refund owed due to Covid restrictions flying from the U.K. messed me around firstly asking for bank details, then cheque and back and fourth loads before finally telling me they were sending a cheque. I wasn’t pleased about a cheque as the a bank transfer allows for concrete confirmation it has been sent a received. Told me it was sent secure delivery but low and behold two months later I still didn’t receive it. Now I know why they pulled the cheque trick. Completely ignored all emails asking for proof of the secure delivery. Family in France called and it was confirmed it was never sent. They didn’t offer my refund still. Emails from myself and family in France (I’m from the U.K.) are both being ignored about it. They take your money and keep it. I’m a single Mom and they have scammed me! They should be ashamed of themselves. Building a holiday destination based on scamming single parents. Avoid at all costs. My review seems to match other people’s too. Horrible horrible people! I won’t let this drop so I have started fraud proceedings to stop this happening to others!!! AVOID. If this helps just one family keep away from this place then it’s a bonus!
Avoid capfun
Our holiday got transferred from a different holiday company. Capfun denied having received our payments and then wouldn't respond to our emails. Still awaiting a refund and response since April. Avoid Capfun at all costs.

Our family should have been camping at La Palombiere 1st August for 7 days before going on to my son’s wedding in St Antoine Noble Val. We booked two adjacent mobile homes for our 10 family members. However because of Covid 19 the wedding has been postponed until next year and my husband was sent a letter from the government to shield until 1st August. My son asked if we would be able to carry the booking forward to the same time next year. He wrote three emails and eventually got a reply to say our booking had been cancelled. Nothing about next year.
I then wrote at the end of July explaining the two letters my husband had received about shielding from the government and offered to send copies. We have not had a reply from Emilie@capfun . This is a disgrace. They grab your money and keep it. Other firms would at least give vouchers or allow us to keep booking for same week the following year.
They haven’t got the decency to reply to emails. Steer clear of this company.
