Good option for Camping

Last time when I booked It was great but this time I booked with my friends and when we wanted near by accommodations, you are charging considerable amount. That is the only reason for low rating. Otherwise everything is good.

We are sorry to hear that you are dissatisfied with the surcharge for a preferred location. We introduced this service at the request of many guests who want the guarantee of staying next to each other.

We offer our customers flexible arrival and departure dates. As a result, planning and assigning specific accommodations is a challenge that can sometimes lead to unbookable gaps between stays. To compensate for this, we must charge a fee for this service.

Please remember that this service is entirely optional.

We still hope to provide you with a wonderful holiday!

Kind regards,
Team Eurocamp

Not helpful when I was attacked at…

Not helpful when I was attacked at Campung Castell Montgri in August at the pool this year. I left the site after calling security in fear for my life after an attack by an aggressive Dutch family. Security could do nothing apart from give the family a warning. They had pushed their cheap metal sunbed into my sister's legs and verbally attacked me. Shouting in my face. A girl slapped my phone out of my hand when I began to record the incident almost broke it. The pool was disgusting and dangerous anyway... white with suncream by 12 noon. 4 lifeguards who would not have seen a dead body at the bottom of the pool until the next morning no doubt. Nice. Ruined my holiday and I had to pay extortionate amounts to stay in a hotel. So stressful. Eurocamps gave us the keys and I filed a complaint with them on site. Still no refund nor compensation.

Dissapointing

Upon initial arrival we were really happy with the presentation and look and feel of the park. The travel to the park from the airport was fairly straight forward and we arrived in a positive mood.
The lodge (Eurocamp) that we stayed in was compact but had enough space for our family of five and was clean and tidy, however it was extremely closed in around a lot of other lodges.
The park is VERY expensive and aside from the pool itself, everything is an additional cost which isn't made clear on the website. The pool, although free to use, is regulated very strictly and any form of fun is squashed by the fun police with whistles, i understand the need for safety but the "lifeguards" ruined the fun somewhat with their over zealous blasts on the whisles. In addition, again more money is need to rent a lounger and umbrella at the pool and the beach.
The staff in the restaurants and shops are among some of the rudest people I have ever met in a service industry and for me, this really ruined the holiday. I was so frustrated at how we were spoken to in restuarants and shops.
The onsite shop (no other option around) is VERY expensive and for me, makes a self catering option more expensive that an all-inclusive hotel break.
To top things off the lodge we stayed in suffered an infestation of ants whilst we were there, the solution... we were given a can of bug spray! We went in August and couldn't really enjoy the outdoors once the sun set as we got eaten alive by mosquitos, we were not the only ones, we saw sooo many people with bites all over them! Again, the supermarket sells a lot of sprays for inflated prices.

The park (Marina di venecia) heavily caters for Germans which again, i didnt like, the camping is crammed in and there is just too many people fighting for the same space. This is absolutely not for me and I will not be returning. This park gave a bad impression to the ark itself and Europark who I booked through. NOT happy at all.

DO NOT BOOK HERE!!

This holiday keeps going from bad to worse!

la-croix-du-vieux-pont

Arrival: walked into the accommodation to find floors not swept, very dirty, food stained floor and kitchen surfaces, reported to reception. We cleaned it all ourselves since we needed to get on with things and cleaners didn’t arrive for hours.

Constant power cuts through the day.
Woke up at 3:30 am to find no power again! How long has the fridge been off ??? Over 200 euro worth of food in fridge and freezer for the weeks food is now sat in a warm fridge!!!! This is infuriating!!! Who is paying for all of that to be replaced, not to mention the time to go and get it all !. Power flicked back on at 5:03 only to go off 5 seconds later… on… off….on….off…shambles.

Oh I forgot to mention….. double bedsheets bought for the large bed, as described on booking, only to find this too small as there is a king size bed, several trips to reception to resolve.
If it get much worse we will be leaving…
Not isolated to our accommodation, many neighbours kept walking past asking if we had power cut too… also many people queueing in reception complaining of no running water…. Not hot water etc etc
Review written at 05:11 while sat in the pitch black having been woke by my eldest child banging her head wondering to the toilet in the pitch black! I’m now sat here wondering how I am feeding my 3 kids in the morning with warm food from fridge…… had a whole day planned today and now need to go and replace entire fridge plus the 20 minutes each way to go to large food store.
DO NOT BOOK HERE!

Update: now 06:28, not slept at all tonight, been to reception to ask about power, gentleman was very friendly and helpful but said there is a fault somewhere and they will need to wait until 8:00 to check individual homes.
Day one… bad frustrating start
Day two… same S£&@ different day!

From the moment we arrived at de Schatberg, Kamila made us feel genuinely welcome. Her warmth, friendliness, and constant support set the tone for a fantastic stay. She was always available to help, offering guidance with a calm and positive attitude that made everything feel easy.

A Five-Star Ambassador for Eurocamp

A Five-Star Ambassador for Eurocamp: Kamila at de Schatberg

On arrival at de Schatberg- travel-weary and trailing far too much luggage—we were greeted by Kamila. What a ray of sunshine!

She guided us, in person, to our accommodation.

In an era where customer service so often feels scripted or superficial, Kamila stands out as a rare and welcome exception. She manages the fine balance of being warm without intrusion, helpful without overstepping.

If Eurocamp’s mission is to provide seamless, stress-free holidays, Kamila is the embodiment of that ethos. She deserves commendation.

Refusing to refund after mis selling a holiday

I have recently arrived at La Croix Du Vieux Pont in Paris for 14 nights and I booked accommodation for a family of 5, I paid a little extra for nicer accommodation than normal and I chose a premium accommodation. Upon arrival the accommodation that I booked vs the accommodation that I had been awarded was not the same. Anyone with a working pair of eyes could see the unmistakable differences. Our bedding, which we paid extra for, was just thrown on the floor with no care in the world. Once I questioned eurocamp on this they (Jill) stated “We only make the beds for Lodges, Chalets, Ultimate and Ultimate Plus accommodation”, so in a nutshell we didn’t pay enough.

When I leave my accommodation there is a wall directly in front of me blocking view with rubble and weeds visible to my side, amongst the rubble and weeds they have kindly provided a BBQ that is unusable due to it’s placement and there is nowhere else to place it due to the small amount of grass surrounding the decking. Eurocamp (Jill) states “We provide individual BBQ’s for certain accommodation types, which will be situated on your pitch for ease of use, but you don’t have to use them if you don’t want to” the placement and surrounding area of this BBQ means that even if I did wish to use it, I physically would not be able too.

I have also been left without an oven to cook for 3 young children for 14 days which has been the cherry on top, even after sharing eurocamp screenshots that clearly states in my booking details that I would be provided with a “full oven”. Aside from this, the parking that I have been allocated is ridiculous. It’s on road parking, in which I am fearful that someone is going to hit my car as we have been placed on an end accommodation where tourer caravans are constantly passing and pitching up.

The general cleanliness of the accommodation is appalling, our shower smells like fish as though someone has urinated in it.

I approached reception in hopes of them being able to help me and they were very dismissive and told us to contact eurocamp directly, which we done and much to my surprise eurocamp were also dismissive and told us to contact reception at the campsite. The campsite staff were unable to help as we booked through eurocamp (which is fair enough) and there are no reps present on site anymore if you encounter a problem. Manon who I spoke with at reception also stated that it is ridiculous that there are no longer reps on site as they encounter many problems like this where they are unable to help.

I have asked eurocamp for a refund as I feel that I have been massively misled and mis sold my holiday and their response was “I’m afraid we would not be able to offer any refund for the holiday, we have provided the Premium as promised via your website booking, I trust that you will enjoy the rest of your stay”. In their opinion the holiday that they have provided is that of a premium one however, in mine, the customers opinion who is physically staying here that statement couldn’t be further from the truth as it resembles that of a budget holiday which I did not want hence why I paid that little extra.

Aside from all of this a situation on site occurred yesterday where my 4 year old daughter and I sat at the bungee trampoline area on a table and chairs provided by the campsite. There was a glass situated on the table and i thought nothing more of it, I mean why would I? I walked away from my daughter who was sat at the table eating to take a picture of my other 2 children and the table gave way due to a faulty screw which pushed my daughter backwards onto the floor, the glass that was left on the table smashed around her and she bumped her head against the ground resulting in her being in floods of tears naturally. I’ve had nothing but a nightmare with eurocamp and this park in general, I am 3 nights into my 14 night stay and I can not wait to go home already. Aside from this, I made eurocamp aware via email that if my concerns were not addressed appropriately then I would need to take it further when I get home as it is unacceptable, so adding onto all of the above when I do get home I now have to fight for a refund from eurocamp as they have blatantly disregarded mine and my young family’s needs whilst in a foreign country.

Booked through Eurocamp Ireland

Booked through Eurocamp Ireland. They double booked us and tried to tell us the accommodation wasn’t installed yet so the only option was to downgrade 1 week before departure, which we did. When we arrived, most of the deck furniture was missing, the hot water did not work properly and the dishwasher was faulty and could not be used. We have been 4 days trying to get support from Eurocamp Cork without response or resolution. I had to hang up on a call after holding for 1hr 20mins. The local support staff just said we have no more furniture or deck cushions in stock! The technical staff blatantly lied about calling to work on the dishwasher as we absolutely knew nobody had been in the mobile during the day they claimed to have been. This isn’t the first problem we’ve had with a Eurocamp holiday and on each occasion, they simply ignore you until you’re home! Non existent customer support and lies!

Enquiry thread:Disabilities Not Encouraged

Enquiry thread:

I am looking to book two weeks in a mobile home/ luxury tent.
I have two autistic boys 4 and 6, they are fairly able but do need some extra minding. I would need to be able to source food onside as one son probably wont want to leave the environs of the site once installed. I will be without my husband for some of the trip.
This would be my dream holiday:
Two weeks in a
calm spacious campsite with trees and nature
With pitch close enough to swimming pool but not overly busy.
Mini market
Cafe/takeaway/ice cream easily available
Natural beauty - mountain backdrop would be super
Walking to beach
Lovely autistic friendly staff.
Area suitable for young cyclists.
Reliable weather 20-22 degrees.
Close to an airport
So I was wondering how close can you get to my wish list! Can you recommend anywhere in particular.
Kind Regards and Best wishes

In reply to your email we have an option on our website www.eurocamp. to select ' Holiday Types' this may help you to narrow down some options. All prices and availability are on our website with a 25% deposit required to secure your booking and final balance is due 10 weeks prior to departure. Please note that campsites can be busy with noise and mobile homes are located near other mobile homes.

Once you select a campsite of your choice you will be able to view the nearest airport, town , if there is a beach nearby and I would suggest scrolling down to the end of the page and clicking on the important information, facilities and amenities, pool etc which will give you a guide about your chosen campsite.

With regards to the weather this I'm afraid I cannot guarantee . If you have any question on a particular campsite pleases ring us 0214252300 and we will do our best to help.
