Tank Exchange
Tank Exchange. The initial contact regarding my tank exchange was clear and precise explaining the necessary proceedures. This was followed up with a site inspection and again excellent communication.
The exchange went smoothly and importantly on time as there was access time constraints.
The operatives Lee Loynes and Lee B were exceptional, friendly and highly professional.

Huge Thank You
I just want to say a huge thank you to the team who supplies our park in Suffolk. We were recently closed due to the terrible Dunwich Heath fires - The Calor team came and took all the spare bottles etc away - I called yesterday to ask if we could have them back as we were allowed to reopen today (14th) The bottles were all back first thing this morning. This has been such a stressful time and your help throughout was fantastic - I hope the people who helped us will see this as it is the only way I have of thanking you.

Very bad practices
This company will not tell you that you are out of contact (like most upstanding companies). What they will do is put you on the highest tariff for as long as they can. Until you notice and contact them. Also told they can do standing orders! E minutes later they can but informed me I will receive threatening letters as they system doesn't recognise it. BE WARY

I have never received a "card" telling me I was out of contact. Please Calor listen to my latest phone calls, your service told me they couldn't easily tell whose out of contract and they didn't tell you. So whose telling porkies? CALOR!!!

Hi,
In relation to your claim that Calor does not contact customers when their contracts are approaching expiry, I can confirm that this is not the case.
A Wake-Up card is sent to customers by post to notify them of their renewal price and provide an opportunity to renew their contract. If a customer does not respond to this correspondence, their account will move onto variable pricing. The variable rate can fluctuate and may either increase or decrease over time.
A customer's pricing is based on their rolling annual consumption and the tariff they are currently on, which is then configured by the pricing matrix.
Calor does not simply place customers onto the highest available pricing. Where a customer is paying a higher variable rate, this will generally be because their previous contract has expired and they have not subsequently renewed for quite some time.
In relation to your concerns about standing orders not being recognised, this is not a Calor policy but is instead a limitation of the SAP system used to manage customer accounts.
The SAP system is configured to receive full payments, either as a one-off payment or through a Variable Direct Debit, to clear an invoice. As invoices have a specified due date by which payment is required, a standing order that only makes a partial payment towards an invoice would leave an outstanding balance. The invoice would therefore become overdue, which can subsequently trigger the automated dunning process.
Customers who wish to spread the cost of their deliveries and tank rental charges over a longer period have the alternative option of a fixed monthly Direct Debit through a Budget Billing Plan (BBP). This is a credit agreement that allows the cost of these charges to be spread over a 12-month period through regular monthly payments.

Dave Heffron and Gary Roberts have just left, having replaced pipework to my LPG tank. They were the lowest-maintenance workers ever! A cuppa to start and nothing else. Because they didn’t need attention, I could easily get on with my jobs. The garden was tidier after they left than it had been before. They even put back my water butt. Full marks to them both.
A huge thank you is also due to Aoife Walker who co-ordinated the work with 100% efficiency and so promptly . It was clear that Aoife read emails carefully and responded 100% accordingly. I didn’t once have to ask twice for a gauge, nor to repeat comments. A* Aoife!

Calor Gas tank removal
Mally and Mark removed our Calor Gas tank. They arrived early morning and lifted the tank by crane from a difficult location, over our garage roof and on to their lorry. They were very polite, helpful and super efficient and completed the lift without causing any damage (even to surrounding vegetation). The job was completed efficiently in less than an hour .
