Have ordered shutters from them over many years but it seems they have cut their customer service offering since I last bought? I always valued that the company telephoned to check the order details (measurement / choice of shutter etc) were correct after placing an order on line. This time I looked for a number to call before ordering but couldn’t find one so emailed to ask for some clarifications including asking about the confirmation process only to be told (by email response) that they don’t provide the confirmation call service any more. Cut out their technical support offering perhaps? Be aware that this could easily lead to ordering the wrong size or type of shutter unless you confidently feel you have the expertise to do it all yourself. Also the videos to show ‘how to’ had not all been updated to reflect the current products. I made a few mistakes in ordering (nothing serious fortunately) so could live with the end result but I probably won’t use them again - if I had got it wrong it would have cost be over £600 since you can’t sent a product back. It is entirely upon the customer to get the measurements and choice of shutter correct!

I have bought shutters (surprisingly enough!) from California Shutters a couple of times of the last number of years. The quality is always very good and the prices are brilliant! Following my last order, I had to contact Customer Services a couple of times over 2 days to get confirmation of delivery day/time etc and the assistance I received from Tom was first class. He responded professionally and swiftly to both my telephone and email enquiries and was always happy to help. I would definitely recommend this company and look forward to purchasing from them again.

We ordered our shutters and they were scheduled to be delivered 10 days later which fantastic. We received notification of delivery which was unfortunately on the day we were going away! After contacting customer service and speaking with Tom who was amazing and went above and beyond, he managed to have these delivered a day earlier and I was able to fit them before we went on holiday. Thanks again Tom great job 😁

We received shutters and one panel was not fully closing. We wrote to customer service and they send us replacement.
I must say customer service is amazing.
Shutters look lovely and installation is easy.

The shutters were made exactly to the size we selected. They fitted perfectly and we did not have any problems with installation. They came with labelled packages and all screws needed. We are very happy with the end result

Tracking was easy & easy to golloe

We are really pleased with the service, speed and the quality of our shutter. Excellent quality well made and a prefect fit. We will be ordering a further three to complete are upstairs renovations.

Pre advice was excellent and ordering on line was very easy with a 48hr safety net just in case

shutters were deliveryed over a week late came with no installation instuctions had too look it up online one door was way out off allignment finnishing trim had too be cut too get it fitted after fitting the shutter because the centre bar was not trimed correctly, got no help at all from the company when contacted them,
would not recoommend at all.

Lovely shutters, easy(ish) to fit. Would have been 5* but for a couple of things. The shutters obviously come either a pack of hardware but there are far more items in the pack than are needed to fir the shutters. As there are no packing lists or hard copy instructions this meant I had to phone to get someone to explain what all the bits were. Most of which went straight in the bin as they were superfluous. Also there were a couple of tiny chips on two of the mitres.
