CAF is Great!
From my perspective, CAF does a great job of making online donations easy. Also, whenever I've rung them up, they have been very helpful and friendly. The only reason for 4 stars is because I found that I am unable to donated to a few charities via CAF.

Your list of possible accounts is confusing - American Donor Fund? Give As You Earn? Etc etc you’re just CAF to me and I’ve no idea what you call my account and I have no need to know

Death of husband who had a CAF charity account
I phoned to say that my husband had died and now you’ve sent an email to him.
I wanted to put the account into my name but was told that this wasn’t possible. So the account was frozen and I was told that I had to take out a new account in my name. So it wasn’t a good experience

Really useful services
I've had a CAF account for very many years. I find it a really good way to manage my charity donations and keep track of them. The website is easy to use and I've never had any problem with CAF. I think they do a great job. I've also used their service to deposit a 'letter of wishes' to go with my Will. This is really useful because you can change the letter without changing your will. Definitely would recommend.
