On a scale 1-10 for customer service I'm going 11. Adam Hume, you are top tier. Knowledgeable, understanding, easy to work with, and fast detailed responses. I was having trouble finding a brake kit that was perfect for my project. I'm so thankful for the help I received. What a great experience!

Worked with Adam to spec the perfect setup for my 2018 Tundra. He worked with me on multiple options, spending time to explain benefits of each one. This is my 3rd order with Buy Brakes and will not be my last. Thanks Adam!

My customer service rep today was John and he was absolutely phenomenal. I'm not easily sold on new products but John spent some series time with me today and sold me on EBC rotors and NRS brake pads. He was patient with all my questions and was able to educate me to a new level on all things rotors and pads. I can't remember the last time a customer service rep spent that much time with me to make sure I felt comfortable and educated on the product I was potentially going to purchase. I initially got off the phone with John but called back about 15 minutes later and told him he sold me on the recommended products and purchased them at that time. I would have never even thought about this brake and rotor option if it wasn't for John's valiant efforts and extremely professional customer service. I don't know who his supervisor is but this gentleman needs an immediate raise! I can't say thank you enough for all his assistance today but I hope he knows that he earned a customer for life!!!

UPDATED REVIEW:

Purchased during Covid. Due to significant reduction in use of car, waited for need to install. I had hi hopes when they were put on but the rotors are awful! Worse than OEM.

Warped in less that 5,000 miles of installation under normal driving conditions (I have never towed anything with my vehicle). The vibration is so severe, I cannot drive my car until I immediately replace these defective rotors and pads.

Total waste of money buying the StopTech CryoStop Rotor and Sport Brake Pads for my 2013 LX570.

JB, I appreciate you responding and you are correct about no prior records of complaints due to me waiting 4 years to install. They seemed great until about 1000 miles ago when shimmy started. Shimmy has turned into a full on violent car vibration when applying brakes at 55 mph on gradual slope.

Finally got a return authorization they want a 20% restocking charge. Are you kidding me? … in a day of overnight parts and lots of competition, this seem excessive. Like the company and the quality products but $50.00 for a mistaken order is punitive. This policy does not make me want to order again. What is fair? More than one order returned per year should be penalized.

They suck overall, the return policy is horrible and their equipment is cheap, highly don’t recommend, the price is suspicious and should have went else where. You will regret your decision on this place

John was not simply a customer service person, he was a person that knew brakes, and that’s the kind of people I like to do business with. He was helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. First, my order was delayed to "make sure I get the right parts". Then upon arrival, the rotors were the wrong sizes. They said I would have to pay before I receive a new set or wait until they can get the ones they sent back, and then they will begin the replacement process. Poor customer service would never recommend using them as they will send the wrong parts after "verifying model and parts". Then inconvenience the customer even more. Sad they are this way.

Decided to go with buybrakes.com and gave them a call connected with John had a very in depth conversation about rotors and brakes for my Stinger. John was just the man to talk to he was very knowledgeable and I got exactly what I wanted with amazing speedy shipping definitely would buy from them again. haven't installed them yet I'll update this review when I do.

Not a good company. You should avoid as they do not honor their "best price guarantee"

If I could this company would receive -10 stars. I order rotors for my car in 9/2023 and I did not receive them until 2/2024. This is ridiculous and then to top it off I received the wrong order and when I contacted the company for a discount they told me they were unable to give anymore of discount than they already did when I purchased the rotors. I will be contacted BBB regarding this issue as you will notice on their website when you go to order the products will say in stock and then when you hit the purchase button it changes and their excuse is the products come from the manufacturer directly so it's not their issue. Never again will I use this business and I will be telling all my friends and family as well.
