Bullguard will constantly interrupt you to make you buy/renew.
It will even interrupt you during gameplay, so expect some frustrating early deaths because while you're desperately trying to close a bullguard pop-up, somebody somewhere is leveling a sniper rifle at your motionless head.

No answer to very simple question
I had a very simple question. One programme (absolutely legit) asked to open certain ports through the firewall. Not being a techy, I asked customer support. Now I get techy questions about why I want to do it and which software and statements about not enough information instead of simple instructions.
I guess the instruction I receive is simple enough, clearly the BullGuard techies are not quite up to speed.
I got the answer below. It is totally useless. I had been there long before I wrote the first email to the support address. There are no instructions that answer my question. Nor does the answer below even start to address the answer. If I could give NO stars for the service, I would.

I was introduced to this AV company by Amy Boost Computer who employ advanced IT consultants some years ago as the go to AV programme to use.
At that time Bullguard wasn't known to me but when the IT guys use Bullguard then it was good enough for me and I wasn't disappointed. The AV surpasses any of what I call 'main stream' AV companies and the support I've received over the years has been exceptional and addressed in a timely manner. I had an issue with being charged for an old account that I don't have access to as well as my current account, I used the live chat and a representative had my old subscription refunded and cancelled within 10 minutes of me receiving the original payment notice from Paypal.

Know what you have to deal with when it comes to auto pay.
I bought my laptop afew years ago and Bullguard came with it. I have renewed my policy a few times since due to the ease but I am getting to the end of my tether.
I know the Bullguard offer discounts constantly, mostly because I get greeted by unwanted adverts everyday, even when my policy has months to go until it ends. This plus charging my card through autopay more than a month before the end date is quite scummy.
I remember dealing with this same issue last year, but its also hard to remember the spacifics, mostly because it was a year ago. The main issue being that the card charged was for a country that I no longer lived in and had no money in the actual account for. (how the charge was made I have no guess, since this shouldn't happen as far as I know).
Due to the current offer I will go with the one more time, mostly because I also don't trust any anti-virus company to act any better, I've noticed a few people mention about how bullguard slows their system, and whilst I can't attribute any issue like that to bullguard that I know of, I have also had similar instances with other providers.
The main thing I want is for people to know what they are getting into and what to be aware of. Make sure you delete any card details after purchasing any products and be willing to look for deals before your policy ends to get a worthwhile amount.

Always been satisfied, never had any virus or anything. Unfortunately my ISP stopped the cooperation though, in a strange way where they still offered a flawed file, which took some support from you guys to find out. I then chose to become a direct customer. On our laptop there was an issue with the old installation not going away. All has gone through customer service - best customer service ever! Thank to Mihai for good direction and for outstanding service from Larisa and Eugen.
Renewal and update
I needed to update my email address and renew my subscription and the livechat was superb. Really easy to do everything and follow Georgiana's instructions. Well done, managed to keep the 50% off offer too. Great stuff!
Good product & online support but don't use auto renewal
I had a problem inputting an Activation key. I went on the online chat and the operator sorted the problem out for me and I only waited a couple of minutes to start the chat, I was quite impressed especially on a Saturday evening. I would recommend Bulldog, but can only give 4 stars as, like many anti-virus companies, including more well know ones like Norton, they charge much more for auto-renewal, than buying a new subscription from a separate retailer every year. I would recommend people check the best purchase price before renewing with Bullguard. I think you will be amazed. It seems there is no reward for loyalty.
