A Great Site for Researching Contractors
I was assigned a contractor via my home warranty company. I have used BuildZoom this time and twice before to look into the work of that assigned contractor. You can see the type of projects they typically do, see that they file permits as needed, and read reviews which I find at least as valuable as yelp reviews. If you happen to be planning and paying for your own project, this is a great site for that as BuildZoom will assign you a consultant to work with to ensure your project goes smoothly with the contractors you select from their site.

Bathroom Reno experience…
I recently had my bathroom renovation. This is a coop building and therefore comes with the strict rules & regulations prior to proceeding the project, but the contractor “Richie Roma Home Improvement Corp.” was very aware of the situation & they took charge of handling the whole process with precision. They had great deal of experience working with the coop building and moreover they were extremely knowledgeable & professionals from beginning to end. I’m more than happy with the outcome of my beautiful new bathroom and so grateful to have met them. I will not hesitate to hire them again for any of my future home projects and I would highly recommend them to my family & friends.

Central AC failed on a 37 year old…
Central AC failed on a 37 year old unit. Called Servkore and service technician arrived in 3 1/2 hours. Identified failed capacitor. Replaced capacitor and cleaned unit. Very prompt and thorough service. Outstanding service. Did not try to rip me off for a new unit. Would definitely recommend.
