Brixly is an excellent hosting provider…

Brixly is an excellent hosting provider with a very powerful infrastructure and incredibly responsive support. As a reseller, I found that they check almost all the right boxes — reliability, performance, and customer service are all top-notch.

However, the main reason I eventually decided to leave was because of their “unlimited NVMe storage” policy. While they advertise it as unlimited, there’s actually a fair usage rule that limits individual websites to a maximum of 10GB. Any website that exceeds 10GB is excluded from their automated backup system.

For most small to medium websites, this isn’t a problem. But as a reseller, I sometimes work with clients who already have large, established websites — some using 18GB to 20GB of disk space. The fact that any data beyond 10GB wouldn’t be backed up made me feel uneasy, as I didn’t want to risk losing a client’s data in case of an emergency.

I really wish Brixly would consider raising that fair use limit to around 20GB or more. That would make things much more flexible for resellers like me. Otherwise, I’d have to turn away potential clients with larger websites, which makes it difficult to grow and sustain my business.

To be clear, all my hosted accounts contained only normal website files — no large archives, videos, or audio content. My only real issue was with the strictness of their fair use policy regarding backups. Other than that, Brixly’s service and performance are truly outstanding.

I'm pleased to hear that our infrastructure, performance, and support all hit the mark for you – that's what we work hard to deliver every day. But I completely understand your concerns about the fair use policy on backups, particularly as a reseller working with established clients who have larger websites.

You've raised a genuinely valid point. The 10GB limit exists primarily to manage our backup infrastructure and ensure we can maintain reliable, fast backups for everyone. However, I can see how that creates challenges for resellers like yourself when you're working with legitimate, established sites that naturally exceed that threshold – especially when it's just normal website files and not abuse of the system.

This is exactly the sort of feedback we need to hear. I'm going to take this back to the team and have a proper discussion about whether we can raise that fair use limit or offer alternative backup solutions for reseller accounts with larger legitimate sites. You've made a strong case for it, and I think it's worth exploring.

Even though you've moved on, I wanted to say thank you for the time you spent with us and for leaving such constructive feedback. If circumstances change or we adjust our policies, I hope you'll consider giving us another look.

A Year and a Half In: Moving to Brixly Was the Best Decision

moved my reseller account to Brixly about a year and a half ago, and it has genuinely been the best decision I've made for my business. If you're considering switching providers, stop debating and make the move.

The transition was flawless. They handled the entire migration for my reseller account from my previous provider, making the process completely stress-free and smooth.

What truly sets Brixly apart is their support. It is top-notch—quick responses and immediate remedial action are the norm. Crucially, they routinely go out of their way to handle things that other service providers would actually charge for. This level of dedication and value is rare.

My absolute favorite aspect is their rock-solid uptime, but the fact that they genuinely listen to their customers is a close second and, I feel, one of the most important things a host can offer. They have a dedicated section for customer suggestions for new features or improvements, and I've personally seen them consider and implement our feedback.

If you are looking for reliability, incredible value, and a hosting partner who treats you like a partner, I cannot recommend Brixly highly enough.

I have multiple services with Brixly and very happy!

I have multiple services with Brixly including reseller hosting and a couple of VPS and the team have always been more than happy to help especially Dennis and Danny.
I have been with them for 7 years and it feels and no intentions of moving. Same great people despite growing bigger and bigger. Clear they spend good money on continual improvement with modern servers and CPUs etc.

Very satisfied customer experience

A disgruntled ex intern had unauthorized access to a mailbox and had setup the mail as a proxy for sending a copious amount of emails, which had began to affect the bounce rate of all incoming and outgoing mails from our server.

The brixly support staff took time to run a mail diagnostic report and identified the backdoor, as well as recommending immediate actions to forestall future occurrences! Thanks Vanessa, your advice was as professional as possible.

Great support experience always with Brixly!

Solved SSL issues

I've been using them for 4 months now. So far, thing have been running smoothly. I had a small issue with my SSL certificate, and support installed it within 15 minutes. Good to know that a helping hand is near

Brixly service and support

Since moving our charity's website to Brixly (now part of Enix) in 2022 I have been really impressed with the reliability of the website and the speed of response by their support team to my queries. It was definitely a good decision for us.

Backup

Do not forget about backup. It is vital. I accidentally deleted some files on my eEommerce site and panicked. Thankfully, the support team helped me restore the full backup within 30 minites and helped me set up automatic daily backups. I appreciate your help!

Totally Worst Service

Totally Worst Service. I have been last 5 Year with Brixly. After Enix acquired, Brixly service down top to ZERO. Ticket not reply. Waiting 12 hours per ticket. Can not get proper solution.

You're absolutely right – our response times took a real hit during the transition, and that's simply not acceptable, especially for a loyal client who's been with us for five years. I won't make excuses for it. The integration was rougher than any of us anticipated, and our support suffered as a result.

I'm pleased to say we've been working flat out to get things back on track. Our average response time is now under 30 minutes, and we've recently rolled out live chat to all customers at no extra cost, with response times typically under 4 minutes. We're not perfect yet, but we're getting back to where we should be.

I'd really like to speak with you directly about your experience and see what we can do to make this right. I've tried to locate your account but haven't been able to find it in our system – would you mind getting in touch with me directly? To do so, please reach out via the Sales and Billing team on a ticket, and ask for the ticket to be forwarded to myself directly, where I would love the opportunity to discuss this further.

Again, I'm truly sorry we let you down.

I've just read your review and I'm really sorry. There's no getting around it – we let you down. Having your services down and not getting a response for 24 hours is absolutely unacceptable, and I completely understand why you're warning others off.

The transition period was more challenging than we anticipated, and our support got stretched far too thin. Customers like yourself ended up waiting far longer than they should have, and that's on us.

We've been working hard to get things right again – response times are now averaging under half an hour, and we've added live chat that's typically answered in a few minutes.

I know that probably doesn't mean much to you at this point, but I'd genuinely like to understand what went wrong with your specific situation and see if there's anything I can do to help. The trouble is, I can't find your account from the review. If you're willing, please drop me a line by popping a ticket in to our sales department, and ask for the ticket to be forwarded to me personally, and I'll look into it as a priority for you to see what we can do to make things right.
