The online course was really engaging and easy to following

I had a good trainer who was very knowledgeable about the subject he was giving training on.
he did not have a voice that droned on and was inclusive and interacted with every member of the group. ay two was quite intense learning about the laws and legalities, but all in all I enjoyed my training sessions even though some of it was a refresher rather than new information.

Helpful when emailed with queries, bit of trouble with the online assessment at end, with loading etc and ticking answers

Tutor was great. I had to have a time extension and they were very accommodating. System/learning materials were simple and easy to use

The tutor managed the learning very well, set at a pace all could handle. Explained well and answered any questions.

Sent emails requesting to purchase the IOSH Working safely course for four colleagues in November 2022. No response. Chased two weeks later, no response. Chased two weeks later, no response. called up today to speak to someone and was told that the reason for non response was that staff took Christmas holidays (last email chase was sent on 08/12/2022). Then asked to resend my emails again and someone would get back to me. Copied in every other email address I could find (events/membership/policy) to hopefully get someone who could help me and yes, you guessed it, no response. I've never worked so hard to spend money in a business before.

Excellent experience. Staff are very patient, knowledgeable and positive with their support.

I purchased 2 of the DSE Risk Assessment courses for my team after reading the course content and shopping around. We were looking for something in depth that would cement their knowledge so they could assess staff workstations. Having already done a basic course which we include for all staff I was disappointed to receive the feedback that this course was really poor compared to the one they had already done which was better (and when purchased separately to our subscription about 5% of the cost!). Not only that but the exam had content not covered in the course. I sent my feedback and received a very disappointing reply which said they would give me 50% off when they had released an up to date version of the course in a year's time. Overpriced and really not worth the money at all.

Gavin was a fantastic tutor and made learning about COSHH Risk Assessments a fun experience.

The process was exacting, comprehensive and thorough, but nonetheless it was a fair process. It was made very clear what to do at each stage, and all of the information needed to respond appropriately was provided during the course. The only slight criticism I have is that the need to complete a second stage, involving a specific project example, wasn't made as obvious as it could have been.

I enjoyed the on-line course very much. It was very well composed and organised, clearly expressed, with rich content and easy to use and navigate - I expected a little bit more elaboration on safety signs. I enjoyed the cheeky-ness in the questions in the quick tests-quizzes :inviting to pay more attention to a next session. I learnt a lot of new stuff and helped me clarify stuff I already knew. I didn't really know how to use the virtual session on identifying hazards in several work places: it was too imaginative for me and lost lots of lives trying to work it out...
Overall it is a great course and I am very happy I attended (and passed) it. Thank you

British Safety was very helpful with me issues at the time of doing my course. They managed to get it resolve very quickly so I can continue with course.

The training was very structured and clear. The trainer made a great connection with the group and was very competent!
