Membership and Award

From the moment we made an enquiry about membership and the international safety awards, we received a personal and professional approach. It was a streamlined simple process with assistance provided throughout. The membership alone provides an easy to navigate platform. Although it was our first award submission with the BSC help was available in a very timely manner.

I’m impressed

Due to my schedule, I opted for the online learning course option. The course was very interactive, breaking down information into manageable sections. This allowed me to fully understand the material and develop ideas that can be applied in the real world.

Excellent NGC1+2 course

Excellent NGC1+2 course. Sian was a wonderfull teacher leading us through our studies with patience and an electric passion for health and safety. Excellent Safety Training

I undertook the NEBOSH Diploma virtual classroom training last year (date supplied is the day I got my final results) and it was a very positive experience. The tutor was well informed and made the virtual setting engaging and informative. The physical materials supplied were comprehensive and were supplemented by good resources provided online.

Very disapointed with the service…

Very disapointed with the service received. Today cut off mid flow during a call. Phone straight back and was left on hold before the call was added by an automated leave a voicemail and we will get back to you straight away. That was two hours ago. They are quick enough to take your money but when it comes to provide a service not so. There are plenty more companies out that provide this type of service, I would recomend visiting them first before making you decision.

Customer service has degraded

We've been a Member of BSC for years. Unfortunately the customer service has degraded. In 2024 we won a Distinction Award at the International Awards. The trophy was over 6 months late to be delivered. In 2025 we again won a Distinction Award. After repeated emails the trophy still had not been received prior to the award entries for 2026. We therefore chose not to participate. Our trophy eventually arrived but with the wrong companies name on it! I've tried to raise a formal complaint but I've received the same lack of prompt response. We'll be reviewing our membership going forwards.

Poor and unreliable Customer Service

While the training package is excellent, the customer service is extremely poor and unreliable. It is genuinely easier to reach HMRC than to get a response from the British Safety Council by email or phone. You may be told you are first in the queue, but after waiting for 10 minutes the line disconnects, followed by a voicemail prompt for you to leave a message—one that is unlikely to be returned

I completed my IOSH Managing Safely but…

I completed my IOSH Managing Safely but I was only issued a Temporary virtual certificate with a note that IOSH will send my certificate in few weeks. It's been 1 month plus I haven't gotten any information from British Safety Council or IOSH with regards to the certificate.
