Brighthouse restored my faith in them

I had a bit of a mix up on delivery addresses which turned into a bit of a palava and my parcel having been sent from pillar to post it didn’t arrive in the best of conditions or on the time given , the condition of that though I feel DPD was solely responsible for and not brighthouse themselves, the customer service and being kept up to date was brilliant they did try and do as much as they could on they’re side so for that that is why I give my 5 star review

I ordered aa 32in tv from brighton…

I ordered aa 32in tv from brighton britehouse on 19thdecember and was expecting it to be delivered yesterday 6th January it wasn't delivered rang today and was hanging on the phone for 10 minutes then I was cut off. rang three more times was cut off three times how rude so I went to the shop in London road and got my money back. I paid cash no apology just an embarristed manager I said if I hadn't been cut off the phone three times I wouldn't have to cancel ordered tv he just said sorry I don't know what happened the funny thing about it my son came down stairs and said that particular branch had 5 bad reviews on Google now it's six.

Although I would say that under the terms of our contracts, we generally do not offer a loan item when something is being repaired. Very helpful in store

Very helpful in store, but after my husband lost a day's work to wait for a bed and mattress and fridge freezer, we learned that the bed hadn't even left the store and he had to book off another day. Also the fridge freezer wasnt even on the order list and we didn't get it until after Christmas

I used brighthouse as a last resort

I used brighthouse as a last resort. Their rates are very high but if your at a loose end and are not credit worthy this is the company to get you out of a hole. My only true negative was the installation. I had purchased a washer dryer which is not fitted properly it has been forced and wedge in to a gap And they took no care when installing it to the point where they have damaged my new vinyl flooring. Also when I ordered I was under the impression my old appliance would be removed but this was not the case. Being a single mum who is petite in size and no one to help I have had to live with my old appliance in the middle of my already small kitchen which is so not ideal. On a plus side I love my new washer dryer and have no complaints with that

First and foremost, I am pleased that we were able to help you at what sounds like it may have been a difficult time. You are right, we are one of those companies that are able to help people who have a limited access to mainstream credit.

Whilst our interest rates are considered high, please be assured we are committed to providing excellent value for money and we have recently reviewed our rates and where possible, we have also reduced the rates we offer. I hope that you were able to take advantage of this.

I am also sorry to learn that your item was installed without due care and attention. Our installation teams should take care and avoid damage. Unfortunately from time to time, some damage is caused. If this is the case, I would urge you to contact us at Customer Relations and provide us with some more information and we can look into this. We will however ask for pictures of the damage and also for three independent quotes for the cost of repair. We will however only consider payment if it is proven that we caused the damage.
