Delivery quick an on time in a safe place

I ordered an item from a webshop in the early evening, and it was delivered for me at a nearby pick-up point at 11 AM the next day. I had a deadline of 2 weeks from the delivery to walk down the street and retrieve my package during the shop's business hours, making it extremely convenient in both time and space.

BPost is very reliable and their employees are able to communicate in the local language. They deliver as promised.

Fast and efficient, bbox really easy to use and convenient.

They told me via email that my package would be delivered on a particular date. It wasn’t. There was no email or other communication. The day just passed. The next day I got a notification it had arrived at the pickup point. This is not helpful. Once it becomes clear that 5”the message about delivery that day would not be correct, some follow-up message that day is necessary.

Package of 650€ was left on the doorstep of my neighbours who are away on holiday.
I found it there a few hours after delivery, it was very visible from the street but they also have a carport where it would be safer and unvisible.
Really don't understand this, this is asking for trouble; raindamage, theft, ....

Works either the rules and taking care of clients.

They have the nerve to ask for feedback only when they know they’ve delivered the package, yet in the city center, they only deliver one out of three. And they never ask for feedback when they lose the package... This is just the last one never delivered.. You want feedback? Mine for you is zero.

Advance communication and punctuality although it is unfortunate that the notification was sent only in Dutch/Flemish. I speak French, one of Belgium's official languages. The nineteen Communes are officially bi-lingual.

Too long delivery time, and obscenely high bpost custom adminiration fees [ not ustom or other true custom charges and fees].
The Bpost costs were more then the purchase cost of the item. ONE WORD : ROBBERS.!

For the past month, the road in front of our house has been closed at one end and is only partially open to local traffic. We’re still receiving our parcels via the Post Office; we place orders several times a month, and they arrive on time as before, despite the roadworks. The problems have arisen with private delivery companies such as UPS or Colis Privé and their often incompetent drivers. Lies or flimsy excuses such as ‘we can’t get to your house’. As if we were living on an island. Proof once again that the private sector is no more efficient – far from it.
