Ordered some Timothy hay and received basically dead brown hay, I'm pretty sure it wasn't even Timothy hay as we've brought from hay box and another company and they were completely different. Tried contacting them multiple times by email and on their webpage but we've had no reply. Hoping to save someone else from throwing their money down a drain.
The first order came half full and was ok quality the second order came and was terrible quality Timothy mix was more like Straw bedding and that's what I'm using it as. The hay should be checked properly before sending. The high rating is doubtful and I wouldn't recommend them..
Unfortunately, I had a very disappointing experience with this company. The hay I received was extremely poor quality and my rabbits would not touch it at all. As rabbit owners know, hay is their primary food source and essential for their health.
Given how sensitive rabbits are, I cannot take risks with inconsistent quality. I requested a refund rather than a replacement as I no longer feel confident ordering again.
Very disappointed, especially considering how important product quality is for animal welfare.
I wanted to add this review after seeing all the negatives. I've been using this company for a few months now. The boxes are labeled and if you have any extras/treats, it's labeled which box they're in. The hay is excellent quality, value for money and most importantly, our guinea pigs are happy with it.
Easy to order, but i never recieved delivery.
Absolutely 0 contact back from all of my repeated attempts to email contact ans no help from customer services when ive tried to chase delivery. Item shows as delivered.. but its not my house!
I ordered add-on salad bags with my delivery, but they never arrived. I’ve sent several emails to the company and haven’t received a single response. It’s been really frustrating — not only are the items missing, but I also can’t get a refund or even an update on what’s happening.
I expected better communication and accountability from this company. At this point, I just want my money back and some acknowledgment that they’re taking customer issues seriously.
Very poor quality hay recieved, tried to contact customer service twice and they didn't get back to me. On the third attempt, I was met with an incredibly rude and unhelpful indivdiual.
Very bad quality hay.
Usually so far I never had an issue to my rabbit eat hay even if company providing avrage quality hay.. But now my both rabbits have denied to eat at all...first time in this situation, but let's be honest if pet don't eat this hay at all even hay 80% of they food and prefer stay hungry it's says a lot of about hay quality....waist of money. Recommend to avoid this hay provider
I can't comment on the quality of the hay, but I can comment on their customer service and website. I was looking at purchasing hay from a new company, I wanted to try something new for my pets when I came across this website. On the Timothy hay page, I saw an AI-generated image of a rabbit and a guinea pig. I knew it was AI immediately, confirmed it by trying to save it, and it was titled: "DALL_E2023-11-2214.01.53alifelikeimageofaguineapigandarabbitenjoyingeatingtimothyhaywithacardboardboxinthebackground", which is hilarious for starters, but why not use an image from a satisfied customer? Surely there are lots of photos being posted promoting their hays quality? But no, they didn't want to use an actual image for whatever god awful reason. I pointed this out to them on their live chat to which they responded with: "Don’t bother buying it then.. the pictures are not ai generated, why waste your and my time even sending a message?"
So I explained that first of all, if I've noticed, how many others would? and secondly, if they have a good product, back it up with a real image PROVING this. AI being as tacky and bad as it is well known to be, it wasn't a good look. My chat session was ended. Did a little digging, and it appears they just use some obscure review website instead of trustpilot anyway, they very likely heavily control ALL bad reviews this way. Zero professionalism and awful representation of their product. So many other websites that are better, definitely don't waste your time with these clowns.
Hay itself is of okay quality. I would not have paid full price for this quality hay but the 25% off voucher made it an okay price. HOWEVER, the hay I received was FULL OF TINY BUGS. I would not give this to your small pets! I had to give my guinea pigs a full course of Ivermectin as I did not see the bugs until after I had given this to them. I will never use this company again! It is advertised as safe for small pets but it is clearly not.
Also not a big deal but I also ordered a taster box of hay from them which never arrived.
