Excellent service, Richard explained everything I needed to know.

What a disappointment ! 6 years after paying £3000 for a set of hearing aids with a 5 year guarantee come across a terrible situation. Visited my local supplier and informed them one of the rechargeable batteries was not holding its charge. Was informed it would cost me £99 for a replacement , reluctantly paid this what I believe is an extortionate price as really having no option, week after ,received a letter informing me that the item is now obsolete and now stopped this service leaving me with worthless aids. Now waiting for a refund but guess what ? Just received a letter informing me that my hearing review is now due , how appropriate !
Amended up date :- since my review I have received an automated response ( not a personal one) informing me how sorry they are to read of my concern and to reply giving my details so they can advice me as to how they can help but unfortunately not replied or confirmed my response and still not received my £99 payment refund owed 6 days later !
Must read.latest update 14/4/26. Credit to head office, took on my review and did a wonderful outcome to my experience,although the original supplier informed me that the model was now obsolete and wouldn’t replace the rechargable battery Boots managed to find another company that undertook the task successfully so thank you Boots for your intervention, I can honestly report the aids have given my partner complete satisfaction over the past 6 years.

Richard was very helpful and patient. He gave me plenty of time and answered all my questions.

This was my final appointment with Richard in the process of supplying me with new hearing aids. Having finally succumbed to the inevitable fact that my hearing was failing me I chose Boots hearing care purely on professional reputation and my faith has been fully justified. Having had several appointments with Richard I can only say that he is one of the most professional people I've met, his knowledge and advice is second to none and invaluable when, like me, your a bit nervous going into the unknown. I never realised how bad my hearing had become until I got my new hearing aids, it truly is life changing. I cannot thank Richard enough for his patience, advice and professionalism. Thank you for making my life so much better.

The audiologist was honest regarding the state of my hearing and gave me various options to try and improve my hearing.
I have tried a couple of different hearing aid providers who claim that they can improve my hearing with the hearing aids they sell. It was refreshing to hear someone give it to me straight and tell me that it wouldn’t be easy.

My husband Alan has been having trouble hearing for a long time and tried getting help from my drs. After trying different methods to relieve the pain and wax. I made an appointment with boots hearing care worksop.
My appointment was with Richard he listened to my concerns and explained what he had found during my examination. He was very professional, and made sure I understood every stage. He explained that I had an ear infection behind the build up of wax. Nothing was too much trouble I felt very confident that I was in the good hands, I had a few appointments with Richard and would recommend his hearing care to anybody.
Very professional, greeted with a smile. And always made sure I understood my treatment. And made me feel at ease at all times.
