We used Bonallack and Bishop to sell our holiday home and as we live near Fordingbridge it was really good to be able to pop in with documents and enquiries to that branch where Anne Whitely was lovely and very efficient. Chris Tate in the Salisbury office, who over saw it was very good and pleasant and easy to get hold of on the phone. We felt we were in safe hands and will use them in the future. Also Elizabeth Webbe has been very good and helpful doing our Lasting Powers of Attorney. I would highly recommend these solicitors.

We sold two houses and bought one with Bonallack and Bishop Solicitors. While our experience of moving house was extremely stressful, Hollie and the team were great and did what they could to assist with issues outside of their control. The team were on the ball and didn't cause any hold ups for us. The pricing was reasonable; and from past experience it's certainly true that paying a little more for a professional solicitor rather than a remote, online only conveyancing firm is worthwhile.

Avoid this company at all costs. Very poor customer service, especially the conveyance service. I had the worst experience with these solicitors. They never respond to emails unless threatened with legal action, they do not do their job unless prompt to do so. We wasted 6 weeks of the house purchasing process because of them. And ironically, they act like the client has no right to ask them to do their job, it almost sounds like they’re paying the client and not the other way around. Absolutely ridiculous behaviour, unacceptable, and unprofessional.
They allocated one of their solicitors to represent us, then got a locum solicitor, then a paralegal and lastly 2 trainee paralegals, to look after this process. What a mess! Avoid these people.

Absolutely wasted our time, don't respond to email, don't answer the phone. When you complain you are the problem and they don't have time for you. Clearly they have far more work than they need as customer service is does not exist.

Terrible service and zero customer care
Very slow, only move forward after chasing them and almost filing a formal complaint twice
In 4 months that the process took, bearing in mind it was a freehold with no chain and the house was empty, saw a couple of people in the same conditions but with more responsive solicitors to manage everything in 6 weeks, they never answered a single phone call or call back, not even once.
One thing I know for certain, they will not be participating in any deal that I am involved, it will be a deal breaker.

My wife and I had put off doing our Wills and LPAs for far too long, and we were unsure about some aspects of both documents.
When we first contacted Bonallack & Bishop most of our concerns were explained by Anita, and we were each sent a questionnaire for the Wills, and LPAs,in preparation for our appointment with Simon Speed.
The questionnaires were really helpful in understanding what information was required, and gave us time to consider those difficult questions posed by Wills and LPAs. At our appointment, Simon used our questionnaires to go through each document thoroughly, explaining each element, and the outcome of decisions we had made. We were then sent the draft documents for checking, and a date was arranged for signing. At the signing, Simon went through each document to confirm our intent and accuracy, then the Wills and LPAs were signed. The whole process was thoroughly explained and made straightforward.
I would recommend Bonallack & Bishop to anyone wanting a Will or LPA with particular thanks to Simon and Anita for their knowledge and help.

We used them to buy our freehold. They were very unprofessional and lacked communication. Twice, they almost missed deadlines for us, and they completed the purchase of the freehold without getting the financial data from the other side, so we ended up losing money. We paid about £5,000 in solicitor fees to get such a poor service.

Awful, they have done nothing since onboarding process complete in February and now my valuation has expired and I will incur more fees, no action, impossible to speak to anyone. 5 years ago in my original purchase they were great, now I need to tell everyone to avoid them completely! Such a shame

We used Bonallack &Bishop for the sale of my late mother's home. They dealt with the process in a timely manner and were so helpful with all the queries raised. We would have no hesitation in recommending them. Maria was excellent.

I'm very sorry to say that I have been completely 'ghosted' by this firm (a senior partner, no less) since I asked if they would consider using Mercury signing for the conveyancing of my daughter's flat, as she resides in Australia.
I am taken back by this, as it is so unexpected from a so-called professional legal practice.

I copied in your colleague, William Parsons and my daughter, who received both emails. Neither of the emails came back to my Inbox as having failed to send.
I believe you are denying receiving my emails to try and save face here on Trustpilot.
I would not instruct your company, nor recommend it, regardless of whatever you have to say now. The damage done to any association we may have had is irrevocable.

We chose Bonallack & Bishop for the conveyancing of our house sale and were allocated a solicitor at their Amesbury branch. As the property was in Salisbury we were slightly surprised. Initial contact by phone was prompt and helpful, particularly when we failed with the electronic ID checker.
We spotted a couple of errors in the contract terms, quickly resolved, but perhaps better proof reading would have avoided the problem.
The office staff and conveyancing team were very polite and courteous although they weren't always easy to contact by phone.
The conveyancing was completed swiftly, with no issues arising.
