I went to lay by some items in big w and the service I received from the young girl there was second to none.
I put some items on lay-by and paid others with giftcard and afterpay.she was calm,professional friendly and the whole transaction was a breeze.
Her name is Alex and she has worked at Joondalup store for 4 years.I asked her.
She deserves acknowledgement for her work.

Staff like her makes the shopping experience so much nicer.I also was advised as to what headphones to purchase by a very knowledgeable young man.I got the more expensive ones as he explained the benefits. This was the 8th of January 2026.Between 6-7pm.

Purchased a LED mirror from big w marketplace dream bathrooms.
Arrived in time but the lights were not even bright and could tell was a cheap product and decided to return.
Paid $80 for return postage to be told the mirror is broken and offered 50%
Do NOT buy anything from Dream bathrooms or Big W marketplace

I have bought lots of items from BigW but the last wasn't bought by me but my son. He bought a TV for me for my 60th. It arrived and when taken out of the box had a cracked screen. It took fighting for them to collect on the 19th December. I know sit on the 08th January with absolutely nothing but EXCUSES every time I call on when it will be replaced. Makes me not want to buy a single thing from them as they definitely do not look after their customers.

I will never shop at Big W again! I purchased pants at a cost of $60 from Big W online thinking no worries there is a 90 day return policy. Pants did not fit even though same size from Work Clobber fits fine. No worries, 90 day return policy. Took them back and was refused refund because they are in the excluded categories, when you look at the excluded categories, it makes up half of the what the stores range is. The manager was very rude and useless. Wasted money I worked hard for. I will now boycott Big W. No wonder people are turning to online platforms like Amazon.

Purchased shoes for my daughter online. A few days later was notified of no stock. I m still waiting for my shoes purchased at the same time. Please dont use their online shopping.

We Ordered a Garden Water fountain $210 it arrived with broken Connector to Solar Panel, we emailed with photos and a new one was sent. DISGUSTINGLY This was Totally Broken in 3 spots and had a hole. We emailed again but All emails came back v postmaster ?? Luckily we bought via PayPal. Australians are used as a Rubbish Dump for Bw, others & Chinese CO’s .

Our coffee machine died just before Christmas. I found the Sunbeam EM7200 online for $250 cheaper than anywhere else and ordered it on 26 December. It arrived on 3 January and no charge for delivery. Thank you BigW.

Purchased about 10 items a month out from Christmas for my kids presents. The items came from 7 seperate suppliers. $44 delivery and they took every part of the 8 weeks to arrive. Worst part was they sent incorrect items and the Return system still remains unsettled into the new year. I wouldn’t ever trust their online system ever again unless you like doing your Christmas shopping twice.

My experience of Big W marketplace was very disappointing. My order was delayed then when it arrived it was poor quality. The returns process was complicated, time consuming and costly. I will never order from them again. Unfortunately as the goods are on marketplace only you can’t see the quality before you buy. Very frustrating. Up your game Big W!

Ordered Birkenstocks as a present for my son , they were very oversized even thought I ordered his correct size and he he has many pairs from other retailers
I contacted BW marketplace just to exchange for a smaller pair , was told no exchange , when I tried telling that I had ordered his correct size and it was their fake rip off product I then had several rude emails and basically stuck with the shoes
If I could give minus zero stars for this rip off company I world
Steer clear of Big W marketplace

Bought a Steam Deck OLED for over $1000 through their marketplace. The Pavilion who is their marketplace seller marked it as shipped the next day without even having stock. No way to contact pavilion and big w essentially wiped their hands of it, simply sending a ‘ticket’ to them. The Pavilion has no operating website, address or number to contact. This setup should be shut down, it’s an absolute joke. Still waiting on any communication from Pavilion.

Bought product online to pick up at the to boot option.waited several hours for notice but no joy went to pick up area and was told that the order was not due to be processed till tomorrow went inside got it the old fashion way cancelled order paid and was informed that big W would not have the money in our account for 3 to four days.what a mess .never again

Big W market place would be the worst shopping experience. Do NOT BUY MARKET PLACE JUNK

Delivery is so slow, customer service is appalling, overall a poor experience I will never use Big W again.

I recently purchased an item for my daughter via Big W website without realising that the item was NOT actually from Big W, but from their 'Marketplace' ! I realised within minutes that I had purchase the wrong item and called customer services to cancel the order - I was told to contact the 'Marketplace' customer service instead. I did so and the operator told me that as my order had not yet been processed they would raise a cancellation request and I would receive a confirmation email. 2 days later I received an email telling me it was too late to cancel the order as it had gone to the processing department. I explained what I had been told 2 days earlier and received a generic response which definitely looked like it had come via a Chatbot (Stores must stop using these and bring back people !!). I have not been given any information as to how I am to return this item, the website states that 'Marketplace' items cannot be returned to a store. I chose to buy the item from Big W, a store I had used online in the past not some invisible third party - why are stores now using this system, Kmart, Officeworks, Bunnings - nobody wants this added complication! The addition of 'Marketplace' will make me reconsider buying online from these stores.

Big W needs to stop letting cheap rip off market people sell off it!!! Especially from China! I bought a talking robot toy for my son for Christmas next thing you know it’s not in English… it’s in Chinese 🤦‍♀️ and another toy didn’t even work at all it looks like it came from a cheap market place!!! I will never purchase online at Big W ever again!

When I saw the ad for the cobalt blue Motorola g85 128gb phone for only $99 dollars with free delivery, I could hardly believe my eyes, Turned out to be a scam enticement to go to their website where the offer is repeated, fill out your info to then be told it's sold out but you can have it in two other colours one for $449 and the other for $499, Scam, Scam, Scam, Shame, Shame, Shame,
Now Big W joins my Woolworths ban

I did not receive my order from Big W Market.
On the delivery day, I was at home all day and was deliberately attentive to any knock on the door. There was no knock and no attempt to contact me. Later in the afternoon, I discovered that the parcel had been marked as delivered. I searched everywhere but could not find it.
Only after I followed up did Big W Market provide a delivery photo, which showed the parcel left unattended on my front door doormat. My home is on a main road, and this is a highly visible and unsecured location.
I did not authorise unattended delivery and no signature was obtained. Big W Market refused a remedy and relied on an Authority to Leave policy, directing me to deal with the courier they selected.
The courier offered no compensation, only stating that staff training would be conducted. Overall, this experience raises serious concerns about Big W Market’s delivery practices and accountability.

Big w will go broke with this. Haven't received my items I ordered. Scam

The worst! Firstly if u order more than one item it comes individually (as big w uses third party companies, ur not buying from the big w store as I thought) secondly they sent me the wrong order in someone else’s name (such a breach of privacy) I tried to contact Big W and it’s an AI robot that never works and fails to put me through to someone. Items I ordered on the 6th of December never arrived for Christmas. Items arrived around Jan 7th. I would recommend buying what you want directly from the company because having big w as the middle person isn’t working.
