I had a very disappointing experience…
I had a very disappointing experience with this letting agency. My viewing was confirmed both over the phone and by email, so I travelled to the property as agreed. When I arrived outside the property, they suddenly cancelled the viewing and gave me different excuses.
This was extremely unprofessional and a complete waste of my time. If the viewing could not take place, they should have informed me well in advance instead of letting me travel there for nothing. I expected much better communication and reliability from a letting agency.

I have investigated this further and it appears that your viewing was scheduled for 3.30pm. Earlier, when our offices first opened for business that day we received an offer to rent from tenants who had viewed the property previously. Their interest was confirmed to the landlord and later that morning the landlord confirmed acceptance of their offer. As a result, we called you immediately to cancel your viewing. Our phone logs confirm that a voicemail message was left for you at 11.22am, informing you of the landlord's decision to proceed with an alternative party.
Although not ideal, I feel that in the circumstances 4 hours prior notice to your viewing was the best outcome that we could achieve, as it was only just before this that the relevant landlord accepted an offer from someone else. From the comments contained within your review, I can only assume you had not received an alert that you had a left voicemail message earlier that morning.
Being really honest, the process we followed was standard where a viewing needs to be cancelled, but I am sorry that on this occasion you felt your time was wasted.

I have had a very positive experience dealing with Beresfords staff - Upminster branch. From identifying the property I was interested in letting; viewing the property and then processing my tenancy to move in, the experience was so smooth and effortless. I was in my property within 10 days of viewing the property. The staff Taylor, Lauren and Ella have each been helpful throughout the process. I would recommend this Letting Agent.
