They do not honor their agreements

I use this bank's finance app, Inter.co.

They ran a promotion in July 2025, spend $150 to receive $30. I satisfied the requirements for this offer, and confirmed this with customer service in August.

In August, they told me that I should receive my $30 by September 14, 2025.

It is now November 3, 2025. I have not received my $30 and I have not received any update.

I have tried to talk to customer service many times since September 14. Several times, they have confirmed that I have met the offer conditions and they just need to credit my account. But there is never any progress on this.

They have escalated many times and claim that they will email me as soon as there is any update. But they never make any progress. When I contact customer service, they do nothing. They just say that they have not heard back from the team yet.

Banco Inter have lost my salary and…

Banco Inter have lost my salary and can't find it despite the fact that I have supplied a full receipt of the payment.
I was asked to wait 5 working days and then call back.
I waited and called back. They have now asked me to wait another 5 working days, apparently oblivious to the fact that I need my salary to live and support my family.

As soon as my money is found or returned to the original source, I will close my Inter account and advise everyone and anyone never to use them.

Stay away from bank INTER/ Não abram conta com o banco INTER

I will write this in English and in Portuguese, because I think people need to be warned from this institution . About 2 weeks ago I changed my cell phone . My old broke , so I had to buy a new one. The app of the bank did not recognize the new dispositive , so I lost access to my account. I tried everything , endless chats, even filed a complain at the National Bank of Brazil against these scammers! It escalated to a point that my only way to have access to my money was to close my account at Inter and demand that the money gets transferred to my savings account at Caixa Econômica . 3 attempts to close my account and get free of this bank from hell . Every single time they claim that the information I provided them for the transfer was incorrect . Even the manager of Caixa got involved to reassure them that the information provided by me was correct . They are incompetent! There is 0 support and way to talk to someone personally. If anything happens to your phone and you are abroad, you better start praying ! Because without a cell with a Brazilian number , you are lost!

PLEASE BEWARE OF BANK INTER! They don’t give a dime about if you need to access your money! They don’t care ! iSAFE security system of their page is a joke! They ask for your selfie for biometrics purposes, but the only security they are based on is your Brazilian cell phone number ! Should your phone brake or get stolen , stop working while you are abroad, you better have another source of monetary funds or you will sleep on the streets!

Muito cuidado com esse banco! Passei duas semanas numa verdadeira saga tentando contatar esse banco ! Meu celular quebrou , me encontro no exterior e o app deles não reconhece dispositivos que não tenham número nacional . Fiquei sem acessar minha conta até que finalmente decidi encerrar a conta e transferir o saldo para minha poupança . Três tentativas e esses incapazes alegando que a transferência não poderia ser feita porque os dados bancários fornecidos por mim estavam incorretos ! Tive que fazer denúncia na Bacen, acionar o gerente da caixa que confirmou os dados bancários como é corretos , pra essa corja finalmente processar essa transferência e encerrar a minha conta !

Brasileiros no Exterior!!!! Brasileiros que viajam com frequência … isso aqui é um alerta pra todos vcs! Se poupem das dores de cabeça ! Não abram uma conta digital com o INTER! Eles não possuem agência, não possuem telefone de contato em caso de emergência para pessoas no exterior . Eles simplesmente são pessimos!

Terrible experience

Terrible experience! I did a ACH transfer between my global account and an a Bank of America account more than 6 days and they has not credit and to get worst, the customer service don't provide any clear explanation about the issue.
Never more!

Banco Inter Kept The Money Sent to Intermediate Bank

Banco Inter stole my money. They provided me with an intermediate bank account number and routing number to send an ACH and then they claimed to not have received it. The bank never returned the money and refuses to help me when I contact them. I have proof that I sent the money to the account they provided and my bank confirmed that the payment was successful. They are intentionally keeping the money that is sitting in their intermediate bank account that they provided. The info is below. Don't send money to this account. Banco Inter will steal your money. Again, Banco Inter will steal your money!
