Excellent plants and great service. Love their details on each plant, very informative and humorous at times. Would not hesitate to buy more.

I ordered some allium Purple Sensation as I have ordered plants from them before and have never had a complaint - always been good plants and well packaged. However this time the plants I received were in an atrocious condition. Some of them were already rotting at the base of the stem and some of the leaves were already dying from the tips. Of the 10 plants I received 6 pots were split with the compost falling out. There was no indication on the box for "this way up" and were left on my doorstep upside down. I had some from another company which were top notch. I sent photos to Ballyrobert and was told to either package them up and return them which was impractical as I'm in my late 70's and do not drive or to rely on their plant guarantee. When I did plant them some of the bulbs were less than half an inch thick. I was disappointed mainly because I had been ill for most of last year and had been unable to do any gardening so was hoping to have some sort of display now but it certainly won't be with these plants. The other company's plants were excellent so I ordered another batch which again were in tip-top condition and packaged securely. Will not be ordering from Ballyrobert again - not even worth 1 star.

I've been visiting the Ballyrobert Gardens website occasionally for their nice plant descriptions and photos. Also, plants that they note to grow well for them will probably grow well for me too, so their recommendations are valuable.

I placed my first order with Ballyrobert Gardens early on Tuesday morning, and had the plants in my hands on Wednesday morning. My plant orders from two other garden shops, made at the same time, haven't even been despatched yet!

The plants were packed carefully and arrived without any damage. The little roll of sweets with the plant passports printout is a nice touch. I'm assuming it wasn't something meant for the plants, as I ate them while enjoying the first heavy rain in a couple of weeks :D

Ballyrobert Gardens will be first on my list for new plants. Hopefully there will be fewer of the dreaded plant variety called 'sold out' next time, though I can see why the site is a popular source of plants. I just need to time my order better.

I have had several orders from Ballyrobert, and with everyone the plants have been delivered in excellent condition. They are now my goto plants people.

This is the second garden I've had where I've got plants from Ballyrobert Gardens. The last one was virtually a pond and conditions here couldn't be more different . Plant descriptions are most helpful not to mention at times hilarious so thanks for helping this very amateur gardener look like she knows what she's doing!
The service provided is excellent as plants arrive quickly, are healthy, and establish well.

'Plants' were packed well and arrived quickly. A cornus and two roses were small but perfectly acceptable for the price. However, Thalictrum plants (£4.99 each) were seedlings and Veronicastrum (£2.99 each) were tiny softwoood cuttings. All will require growing on for some time before they could be described as plants or be suitable for planting out. They were not correctly described on the website. Some four weeks after delivery and despite nurturing, it is not clear that I will get any Veronicastrum - the tiny cuttings look very unpromising.
Had these been described accurately as required, I would not have ordered them.

I ordered from Ballyrobert Gardens for the first time, the website had really comprehensive information about the plants and the prices were good.

My order arrived today, really well packaged, the plants were healthy with really strong roots, I was impressed and will order from this company again.

An amazing service! My plants (2 x Persicaria Vacciniifolia) arrived in the West Midlands, from Northern Ireland much faster than some items purchased locally. The plants were much larger than expected and were so well packed that not a drop of compost was spilled. A lovely thought by Ballyrobert Gardens was the extra touch of a packet of sweets, these were enjoyed whilst planting.

I've had 4 plants now from Ballyrobert Gardens. All have arrived quickly, very well packaged with the emphasis on environmentally friendly packaging. The plants themselves have arrived in excellent condition, disease and pest free. With a small hand written note on the shipping order and even a packet of sweets! The website is user friendly, and prices and delivery charges are very reasonable. What more could one want? Customer service is excellent, I won't hesitate to buy my plants here and recommend Ballyrobert Gardens. Thank you for an excellent service
