Bakker.com Reviews 

I placed an order with Bakker on 23rd May. I received confirmation of my order and patiently awaited note of delivery details. On May 26th, Bakker declared bankruptcy. I was not notified. My order was never sent. I was not refunded and now there appears no way to even request a refund despite the fact the company is back up and running. There is a distinct lack of any information on how to get my money back - almost no information at all on how to contact anyone in relation to this like who might be handling the previous owners financial issues. I have reached out to the new company with my order number but even they have no information available for customers who made purchases in good faith and have been left empty handed.

Plants arrived in good condition,although some of the staples that held the plant had gone through the leaves,plant is doing well,packaging excellent

I made a purchase on 22 may and now I realised the company bankruptcy and no information about how to recover the money already paid…

As stated by previous reviews this company has gone bankrupt.I placed a order on the 22nd and they took my money only to declare bankruptcy on 24th.Some plants arrived this morning in very bad condition.Moulding and broken and I guess that there is no way of getting my money back. STAY AWAY

The company is a fraud.
Took order 22nd May , the company have now declared bankruptcy in court 24th May.
They still took orders which they blatantly had no intention of fulfilling and no emails from company

Bakker have gone bust so DO NOT PLACE AN ORDER.

I placed an order on 23rd May. Estimated 5 day delivery. Had confirmation of the order and the money was taken immediately. Since then, nothing! No response to emails, no shipment of the plants.

Just checked their website and it says they were declared bankrupt on 24th May.

Really not happy at all!

UPDATE 31.5.22.
Against all odds, part of the order arrived today. 3x plants + 2 x baskets, floating rings and pond soil not delivered. 2 plants ordered have been substituted for others. Pond net no bigger than a rock pool net. All plants look unlikely to survive! Something is better than nothing I guess but that’s a lot of money lost!

Excellent choice of good plants and at very resonable price.

Still waiting to hear back from Bakke.com customer service, NOT, very disappointed. Not a single response from all my attempts, via Instagram, Facebook, here and their own site, which is DOWN. Be very careful when purchasing.

Very poor quality plants. I bought 4 Acers; One was dead on arrival, and the other three are withering with signs that insects have been feeding on them. I also bought a Forget Me Not, which again was in a very sorry state, with the leaves full of holes.
This company went bust in 2018, and worked hard to restart the business with excellent plants and sensible pricing. It appears standards have slipped badly, and I cannot recommend buying from this company.
At least with a local garden centre, you can see what you are buying

Arrived in great condition and in bloom. A few of the blooms had been lost in transit. Looks very healthy and I hope it will grow as well as the other one I have

Ordered 3 Angels Trumpet Datura plants: they arrived as lovely strong young plants with many healthy side shoots.

The plants I ordered arrived within a reasonable time and were very healthy and not damaged in transit.

I ordered irises which I was struggling to find in nurseries. They arrived well packaged in recyclable materials and looking happy and healthy and were a good size
