We are purchasing from Australia Is it normal to ask this from a purchaser?

Thank you for your recent Autobeam order , as this is a high value order we are required to take identification in order to rule out fraudulent orders .
Would you be able to send us an image of 2 forms of identification please.One to confirm your identity and another to confirm your address .

I find this a bit strange, what are your policies to protect our identity?

Contacted Autobeam as one of my bulbs suddenly stopped working.

As my purchase was still within the 3 years of buying I was immediately sent out a replacement bulb, with no questions asked.

Would highly recommend.

Great service. I have bought a few products from autobeam and they have always come on time and are well protected and the quality of there products are really good as well which is what you want if ur buying something for ur car.

Buying process was easy. Delivery was quick. Product is nice and exactly what I hoped it would be. Will definitely use again.

One of if not the worst companies I've come across. First issue is they have no contact number or email address and only use Facebook Messenger for communication, not ideal especially when you have an issue, messages would get opened and not replied to which isn't very professional for such a big company.

I also had several issues and had to dispute my refund amount because they provided a partial refund when the bulbs purchased were not as described, they were not as white as claimed by the colour code advertised and the brightness was not good enough, when letting them know I get the response it's because the bulbs are the Mini version. (LED H11 Micro Fog). This should not be an excuse as they were still advertised to be a certain amount of lumens which it was not.

I got refunded partially even though they were returned within 28 days at my own cost. I had to dispute this with PayPal as they stopped responding. I won the case and got my refund but it was unnecessarily difficult.

Also had another set of bulbs which came with a 5 year warranty. (LED BAY9S Indicator Unit). When I installed them the indicator brightness was terrible that the standard bulb was brighter. The LED was not bright enough and in the day did not look safe for road use as the indicator was barely visible, when I messaged them they said we'll pass the feedback on, they were again not as described and very dangerous, I expected the brightness to be at least the same if not brighter.

They were sent back, got told it had been 6 months and that they cannot refund, I advised I only got round to fitting them. Ended up having to keep them when the bulbs were not up to the job. They were 57 SMD bulbs and couldn't even match standard brightness.

If I was you I'd look elsewhere as I've spent over £200 in bulbs with this company and got no appreciation or acknowledgement. I would never use them again, I used to recommend them until I encountered some issues which they did not want to know about.

In response to Autobeam trying to make excuses for the poor service and the unnecessarily difficult interaction, you did not provide a full refund, it was a partial refund, PayPal actually refunded me. You guys did not and deducted postage for a bulb that did not match the description.

As for the bulbs which you state had a 6 month warranty actually had a 5 year warranty hence why I purchased them. Enough of the lies, I wouldn't try to return them if they weren't under warranty. You have no justification for anything you've said. Lying to people to make yourselves look good.

Had an issue with a BMW M2 having the fuse box all the way in the boot meaning wiring wasn’t long enough for their footwell kit. Messaged and 20 minutes later they’d sent out some wiring extensions (at 11pm!)

This is not the first purchase I’ve made from Autobeam and as expected an excellent service. Lights not fitted yet but I’m sure as like my other items will work as expected and installation should be simple

They look very good quality time will tell

Delivery was a little later than expected however lights arrived packaged well and I’m very pleased with them.

Can't fault the company, delivered on time as expected, the led bulbs work absolutely fine in my car looks really smart can't fault them at all, great company to buy your headlight bulbs.

Been buying from autobeam for all my lights, very high quality over the last year or two now, no issues as of yet. Great service
