I have lost thousands of dollars…
I have lost thousands of dollars because they took the money from my super account with the intent to move it to my overseas account, but then have not been able to get in contact again and their phone and website is not working.

Dodgy super finder
I have put my information last year 2023 it's been 3 months nothing till today Tue 16 2024 . People have given 5 star's reviews it's BS I haven't received or heard anything for more than 3 months . Taxpayers pay so much money for these criminals but they can't get back to people just want to keep the money not give it back.

Then my internet shut the website down as possible scam. So i ring the the toll free number on Jess's email template - 1800 300 605 - and it's not connected. Also the address of the office on their email - 50 Cavill Ave Surfers Paradise - is some bar or restaurant.

I have just realized I have provided this company with all of my details online, tax file number, date of birth, phone number, etc... I thought they were a government entity... I feel nervous they will keep my information and possibly defraud me.

Thank you for your taking the time to read this.
DO NOT TRUST Australian Super.
I have recently discovered there was a security breach in my Australian Super account. This changed my contact details for more than 4 years.
All 2.2 million members were effected and their accounts open to being breached.
Australian Super have since admitted the breach only recently, after many e-mails requesting an answer.
They never informed any of the 2.2 million members!
They amended some details after 2 years but I was never notified.
During this time my details were incorrect, important change of insurance to my TPD was mailed out. Due to my address being incorrect I did not receive any notice of this change. Thus my insurance dropped by 70% overnight. I was denied an opportunity to take out further cover.
I am not the only one. Potentially millions of members are effected.
They amended my details but never informed me off this. They were then aware my address was wrong during the period the change of insurance information was sent out, BUT still did not send the information to my correct address.
The end of 2018 I had a serious workplace injury. I have been left with a serious spinal injury and cannot work anymore. Apart from my physical and serious mental injuries, I also have been left with obviously financial difficulties. I complained to Australian Super. They have made some admissions but I have been stonewalled from my other questions being answered.
This is not about just myself. This is about informing every other member of Australian Supers cover up and conduct. More Importantly the potential number of members that were never sent this information could be astronomical. Members weren't informed are critically under insured. Everyone needs to be informed asap. Also every AUSTRALIAN should be made aware the importance of this insurance.

Worst business practice ever....
If I could give less than one star I would. The behaviour shown by this company is deplorable and I will be taking my matter further. I would highly recommend not using Australian Super Finder as they cannot be trusted! Do it yourself, then ASF cannot hold your monies for months on end, while ASF accumulates interest that should be the indiividuals, then you have to scream and yell to get any kind of response. I do not know why they are still allowed to operate, their business practices should be thoroughly investigated.
