This company provided excellent value for
money.
On each occasion our assigned Audley Travel specialist professional, Charlotte Smith being the most recent, were knowledgeable, attentive, efficient and had actual recent travel experience in the subject destination.
Furthermore, the "in country" support network capability Audley Travel, possess is in our experience unsurpassed.
We strongly recommend Audley Travel Group to other traveller's and adventurer's.

Chris Thompson has had an extreme amount of patience and has put together a remarkably well-priced itinerary across southern Africa. While at the moment we have not yet decided whether to go on the holiday for personal reasons, I cannot recommend enough his expertise

We have just returned from an amazing trip to Cape Town, The Kruger National Park and Mozambique.
Robyn Hutchons listened to what we wanted as a family and put together a wonderful trip. It needed to be special as we were meeting one daughter who lives in OZ and hadn't seen her for nearly a year. Robyn arranged all our flights and managed to co ordinate them brilliantly. Everything ran so smoothly all connecting flights/transfers it was seamless. I would highly recommend Robyn and Audley to anyone, I am already thinking where can we go next!

Our recent trip to Ireland was beautifully planned by Audley Travel, with Lilly Cohen serving as our travel specialist. She did an outstanding job creating an itinerary that reflected our personal interests and provided a wonderful variety of experiences.

The trip included everything from a baking class and Celtic show to museums, castles, cathedrals, spectacular coastline scenery, and fascinating archaeological tours, including Newgrange. Lilly and Audley also offered thoughtful recommendations for city sites to explore and pubs to enjoy along the way.

Throughout the planning process, Lilly truly listened to what interested us and thoughtfully crafted experiences that allowed us to explore Ireland in meaningful and memorable ways. Her attention to detail and ability to balance history, culture, scenery, and local experiences made this a very special trip.

We just completed our second trip with Audley. The team listened to what we wanted and was very responsive to adjusting each phase. As with our first trip, they found tours and tour guides we simply could not find ourselves. We did have a couple snags on the road, but their in-country partner smothed over everything. Sarah was a great planner for Italy and Sicily.

The ship Seven Sea Grandeur was absolutely wonderful, the staff were brilliant and the ship was first class.
Helen Easton guided us through all of the choices for suites and we have entrusted her to organise our next trip 20 day Caribbean on the Seven Seas San Mariner in December 2026.
We missed having a theater.

Great range of holiday options that can be tailored as you wish. For example, we did an 4 center tour of Andalusia. Excellent customer service. We had a great holiday.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was disappointing enough that I feel compelled to warn others. My husband and I previously used Audley Travel for our honeymoon to Vietnam and had a good experience, which is why we confidently recommended them to my parents for their retirement trip to California. My parents are not experienced travelers, and the entire reason we hired a luxury travel company was to ensure a smooth, stress-free trip with knowledgeable planning and support.

Instead, while my parents are currently on their trip, we have already had to front over $2,000 in unexpected costs because of Audley’s mistakes. Audley has acknowledged some of the errors and agreed to reimburse approximately $685 plus resort fees that should have already been prepaid. However, we were then forced to pay an additional $1,100 out of pocket because Audley apparently failed to use the funds we already paid them to pay for my parents’ final hotel stay. To make matters worse, no one answered their emergency support line when we tried to resolve the issue in real time.

Unfortunately, this was not an isolated mistake.

We booked this trip more than 14 months in advance because my parents specifically wanted to stay inside Yosemite National Park, where lodging often needs to be booked exactly 12 months out. Before paying a deposit, we made it explicitly clear that we would only move forward if Audley could secure one of the hotels inside Yosemite. Their specialist assured us multiple times that Audley had the ability to book earlier than the general public.

That turned out not to be true.

Audley did not even attempt to secure the hotel until roughly six weeks after reservations had already opened to the public. By then, the hotel was sold out. Essentially, they held our deposit for months while failing to make the booking they had specifically promised they could obtain. Audley ultimately told us there was nothing they could do. I personally spent days constantly checking the Yosemite reservation website until I was able to piece together all three nights myself through separate reservations and room changes. While Audley eventually refunded the hotel cost, I still had to do the work they were hired to handle.

There was another issue with a scheduled guided day tour. The original guide apparently canceled the week of the trip, and Audley replaced it with an entirely different backpacking-style excursion that required my parents to drive themselves and was completely inconsistent with the leisurely guided experience originally booked. Once again, I had to step in myself and find a replacement tour company. Audley refunded that portion as well, but by that point it felt like I was functioning as the travel agent.

At a certain point, repeated refunds do not undo the stress, time, and disruption caused by these mistakes — especially when they occur during an active trip and require family members to front thousands of dollars unexpectedly. The entire purpose of hiring a premium travel planning company is reliability, expertise, and support when issues arise. Unfortunately, this experience delivered the opposite. (As an additional note, this emergency 24/7 number has still not returned my call.)

Based on this experience, I would not use or recommend Audley again.

We just came back from the amazing trip to Cape Town for 2 weeks, driving a rent-a-car along the coast line, hiking mountains, encountering wild animals. Climing Table Mountain to the top and observing the whole city and the sunset, hiking in many mountains in Cederberg and Franschhoek are unforgetable experiences. Visiting Robben Island is a must in Cape Town. Nelson Mandela was prisoned there for 18 years. We had the guides who were ex prisoners. They are well educated and look after tourists. I was impressed they were so appreciative that they were given a job working as a tourist guide. All thanks to the professional knowledgeable expert of Audley Travel!

We have enjoyed several trips arranged by Audley Travel and this latest trip was the usual excellent experience. Our travel consultant, David, listened to our requests and suggested extra experiences that turned out to be exactly the kind of things we enjoy and very much part of the culture of the various countries we visited - Malaysia, Cambodia and Singapore. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience - our travel arrangements were seamless, our guides knowledgable, friendly and professional and the hotels of a high standard. We will be using Audley again early in 2027 and are already looking forward to our next adventure!

From my first contact with Audley to the end of our journey the team were amazing in helping us achieve our long awaited adventure.

Claire's enthusiasm for our trip to Malaysia (or Malaya to us!) retracing my family history made the whole process a delight and exciting. Claire was always cheerful, efficient, punctual and her knowledge having been there was indispensable.

From the outset she was invested in making the trip everything we could have wished for. The hotels were the perfect choice and the guides and drivers also went above and beyond to help us find special places in addition to their great local knowledge. Claire's itinerary for us was action packed but also so well planned it wasn't overwhelming.

We have created special memories forever and would definitely choose Audley again for another adventure!

Audley Travel’s Spain specialist Erika Jolie planned our trip to Spain this spring and we had a wonderful time. Our itinerary was Barcelona, Valencia and Madrid, and all the details of itinerary went perfectly from the hotel reservations, tour guides, drivers and train tickets. In response to hearing about our interests and priorities, Erika was able to give us recommendations of what to see and do in each place based on her own professional and personal travel experiences in Spain. I would highly recommend using Erika and well as Audley Travel for custom travel plans. They are top notch!

We knew we wanted to visit Norway but with no knowledge of the country and little time to plan, we turned to Jess Abrahams (Norway specialist) at Audley. It was our first time using Audley so weren't sure what to expect.
From our initial consultation to a post trip debrief, Jess was brilliant. She listened to our ideas, preferences on accommodation types, level of activity, modes of transport etc and put together a fantastic itinerary which ticked all our boxes.
We had a fabulous 10 days exploring Norway and the fjords, travelling by car, boat and train and taking in two cities (Bergen and Oslo) along with some fabulous hidden away gems. We covered a lot of ground but Jess managed to plan it so we had some quieter time in between and even an afternoon of sauna / spa. The logistics worked like clockwork; the insider tips we received were really useful, and all in country staff were fantastic.
All in all we had a great holiday and a great experience with Audley. We wouldn't hesitate in using them again, particularly for a trip slightly out of the ordinary.

Our trip to Italy and Sicily was fabulous and beyond our expectations. Our specialist, Sarah Quigley, understood what we were looking for and went above and beyond to make our dreams come true. We will definitely use Audley for our future travel.

We had the most AWESOME trip to India in March 2026 thanks to Audley Travel! We had tried to go to India in 2018, but the travel agency we worked with, at that time, couldn’t tailor a trip for us to meet our wishes. So, we gave up. This time we decided to try Audley Travel and worked with India specialist Zac Pardee. He listened to us and put together a terrific vacation! And in record time! We were planning on going in 2027, but Zac was able to make it happen in 2026. Our trip was 18 days long traveling by car and plane to 5 different wildlife destinations (Kaziranga, Tadoba, Pench, Kanha, Bandhavgarh), Delhi (Old & New), and Agra. It included 18 private safari drives, 4 in-country flights, and 13 transfers. Everything was executed to perfection! Our itinerary was followed without error. Not one Audley driver, guide, or representative was ever late, and all were helpful and very personable. The lodges and hotels that Zac booked for us were excellent with the accommodations, staff, and food far exceeding our expectations. We traveled to see India’s wildlife but ended up falling in love with the people and the country’s wonderful hospitality sector. We had anticipated that the tigers drawing us to India would be hard to spot, but that was not the case at all. Zac put us in the right places with the right guides. We saw more than one tiger almost every day, and had numerous close encounters. This included wonderful sightings of tigresses with cubs. When we asked about visiting Kaziranga, Zac encouraged us to do so and worked it seamlessly into our itinerary. Amazingly, we saw 50 one-horned rhinoceroses in Kaziranga. The tours that Audley arranged for us in Delhi and Agra were great. Our guides were very personable, knowledgeable, and spoke English very well. To wrap it up, we are very pleased that we chose Audley Travel to design and organize our trip. We are currently planning another trip with Audley and highly recommend Audley to others. Well done Audley Travel and Zac Pardee!!

Audley have great customer service. Charlote listened carefully to our requirements and helped plan an unforgettable experience which felt like we had planned it ourself but without all the stress.

Ryan Moncton put together the most adventurous, fascinating trip to Lima and then onto the Amazon (where we encountered macaws, a black crocodile, river otters eating fish and listening to the Howler monkeys at night!), Cusco, the Sacred Valley and finally our 7 night 6 day trek over the Andes with our guide (Pillco who was absolutely wonderful!) and our porters to reach our final destination Machu Picchu...UNBELIEVABLE! We slept under the stars every night in nice tents, had great weather and the Chef and Porters were outstanding! They set everything up and torn everything down. We had 3 meals a day that were fantastic! Happy hours almost every night after hiking a minimum of 7-8 miles every day through steep mountain peaks to tops of glaciers at Salkatay Pass and deep, steep, narrow descents into Machu Picchu! The most gorgeous scenery...waterfalls, lush flora and fauna, llamas... we even saw a chinchilla along the way! The scenery was unforgettable! The FOOD (omigosh, the FOOD so very fresh!) the Peruvian PEOPLE... so hard working and yet so very grateful and gracious!
If I could find someone to trade homes with me in SD and I could stay at theirs in the Cusco/Sacred Valley area, I'd go back in a heartbeat! Thank you Ryan for putting together this once in a lifetime unforgettable trip! FIVE STARS *****

We wanted to combine a family trip to the North Island of New Zealand with a tour of the South Island afterwards. Amy created the perfect trip for us. Her suggestions proved to be spot on for us and we had an excellent time as a result of her careful planning. When we return to NZ we know exactly who to go to!

My wife and I recently went on a holiday to New Zealand, travelling both islands via a campervan, which is the only way to truly experience this magical country. We decided early on that we would use Audley Travel to arrange our holiday due to our neighbour recommending them. We were not disappointed with our choice, as at every stage, including the planning, support if needed when we were in NZ and follow-up calls after our return, were to an exceptional level of customer care.
We have had the privilege of going to many destinations on holiday over the years, but looking back, we can truly say that Audly Travel have been the standout holiday operator. New Zealand is a once-in-a-lifetime bucket list holiday with so much to see and experience that you can't afford to get your choice of holiday operator wrong. We were lucky that we had decided to use Audley Travel, and we thank them from the bottom of our hearts for making this dream trip a reality.
