Athens Car Rental - ACR Reviews 

This was our first time renting a car abroad, not only in Greece and we enjoyed the experience for a lot of reasons, mainly because we used this agency.
As we arrived to Athens airport we had a brand new car waiting for us, the paperwork took no time and the guy was super nice and polite. We went over the car to make sure there’s no scratches and we started our trip. After 10 days we dropped off the car at the airport, again nice guy with nice attitude and paperwork that took no time, but this time we had a problem, he noticed some scratches at the bottom of the front bumper and wanted to charge us for it (while being nice!) we told him that we had no accidents and that we have no idea if it’s our fault because we didn’t check the bottom of the car when it was delivered. He wrote down what we said wished us good flight back home and told us that the issue will be handled by the agency and from his experience they always look for the best for their customers. After couple of days we received an email hoping that we had a nice experience and notifying us that no extra charges will be required.

First class from start to finish we booked two cars through ACR ... We were met at Athens airport arrivals by a young man holding a plaque with my name .. it took about 20 mins to complete the
Paperwork for both vehicles and then we were given a brief comprehensive run through the operating of the individual vehicle ... It was clearly explained what to do on our return and what time we would be met ... We arrived early and the representative arrived 10 minutes before the arranged time ... Itnwas a very quick hand overnight both vehicles and the holding deposits of €500 euros per car returned and we were on our way

No nasty extras as is frequently reported when hiring a car ... New, clean well equipped cars .. all sorted with no hassle and friendly representatives both on arrival and departure.

The car was delivered as requested and the drop off at the airport was handled very proficiently. I would highly recommend Athens car rental. From booking, pickup, drop off, all done quickly, friendly and hassle free. Car was in excellent condition with no hidden cost.

We've used this company (Athens Car Rental - ACR, 58 Souniou Ave., 19003, Markopoulo, Athens) on 3 occasions and have been very pleased each time. They are easy to contact via Skype or email, very approachable in our experience, willing to please and generally very helpful. Their pricing was competitive and the service excellent. They provided a 'meet & greet' service with the car at the airport which meant queuing at a rental desk or being bussed to a depot was not required and did not detract from the start of the holiday. The vehicles provided were of typical standard for Greece with the odd ding, dent or scratch but we never had any problems with damage being accredited to us. We have seen ( & hired) many vehicles in much worse condition than their fleet from so called mainstream rental companies. If you need a rental car from Athens airport you should contact these guys and give them a chance, I'm sure you wouldn't regret it.
