Maintenance A hard wearing lawn like our Pet 40mm is easy to maintain and doesn’t require mowing or treating with harsh chemicals. Our maintenance tips will help you care for your artificial grass year-round. It’s a simple three-step process: Use a stiff-bristled brush to get rid of dirt and debris. Rake the pile to lift it. Hose away any spills or mess with a garden hose to prevent smells and bacteria build-up. To keep your lawn looking its best, don’t leave heavy toys or furniture on the turf for extended periods, as this could flatten the pile. Also, to prevent fire risks, never place a fire pit, barbecue, or glass-topped table on your artificial grass.
