Telephone phone based advice has been helpful and sympathetic. I received a very prompt returned call in less than an hour from my enquiry.

I am a disabled resident and a few days ago my neighbour appeared on the party wall line repairing his roof which joined mind his is a normal thicker mine is a slate thin tile and I sent pictures to arc legal saying that they had caused damage to my roof where they had been walking on it. I have a very bad relationship with my neighbour as he has in the past neglected his building and eventually I had to get the council to take down the second story because it was about to fall on my extension and I never spoke to my neighbor since then or very little. The advice I was given by ark legal was that I should go to my neighbor because I do not have any contact numbers or know who these people are apart from the clear photographic evidence of him sitting on the apex and ridge of my roof with someone else with a large tile or capping tile. I sent the messages saying that my neighbour had paid the money and had called them clearly identifying my neighbour either was repairing it with them or appointed by the neighbour but in his message he's trying to say they are my workmen but I don't have telephone number I don't have a party wall agreement I did not give them permission and my neighbor confirmed he paid the money. After sending all this information to arc they said well they pursued the people that cause the damage but it's unclear whether my neighbour or the neighbour and whoever was on the roof with him are responsible. I was told that the information would go to a panel to see if there was 51% chance of recovering the money but I could hear voices and cracking tiles and the voices were most definitely rogue traders or travelers and I explained to the arc legal team it's going to be near on Impossible as my neighbor are claiming that they are my workmen even though the evidence and text messages say otherwise. In another conversation ark legal stated that I must appoint a party wall surveyor at the cost of over 1000 pounds and for them to assess the damage. They stated this because they said it's my opinion it is party wall even clearly from the photograph my neighbour is sitting on my roof and the tile that has been raised is clearly evident on the party wall line.
I find the advice I wouldn't call it legal advice but an attempt to offset all the problems back to the claiman and it's absolutely disgusting.
I would strongly recommend anybody who has arc legal services I believe they are connected to numerous home insurance companies to deal with legal cover matters. I would strongly clearly advise to check when anyone is taking out their home insurance for content or buildings including legal cover that this name arc does not appear as the service provider for legal advice. I have given up all together. And to get legal advice you have to phone a telephone number like a receptionist who books the appointment and then wait up to an hour or even longer for a so-called legal advisor to call you and the advice is absolutely appalling..... Staywell clear

So far, the communication and responsiveness have been good, and I appreciate the contact I have received. However, I find it premature to be asked to leave a review before any substantive work has actually been undertaken on my case.
At this stage, I am unable to fairly assess the quality of the service provided or the outcome achieved. As a result, being asked for a review so early in the process would naturally lead to a lower score than might otherwise be the case once the work has been completed.
I would be happy to provide a more meaningful review once my case has progressed and I have experienced the full service being offered.

This was a first call to get a claim form. Service seemed good as a first impresion.

I was intending to keep my insurance company in the loop of an ongoing risk to my property but it seems you have to make a claim through my legal assistance cover. Not sure if this process works effectively.
