I’ve ordered seven cakes from Anges de Sucre over the years, and every single experience—from start to finish—has been absolutely flawless.

Their customer service is consistently professional, informative, and seamless. Each cake I’ve chosen has been completely unique and downright amazing.

It’s become a yearly tradition for me to order one of their cakes as a birthday treat, and without fail, everyone who gets to share in it is blown away. The presentation, taste, and delivery have always been spot-on—never a single issue.

Anges de Sucre is truly a top-tier company. If you’re a genuine cake lover, I can’t recommend the red velvet and cookie biscuit cakes enough—they’re out of this world!

Since finding Ange de Sucre’s recipe for hero cake and Swiss Meringue Butter Cream, it has levelled up my baking. I will use nothing else now. I used her red velvet hero sponge recipe for my daughter’s birthday cake and cupcakes and they came out perfectly! I find the company’s approach to customer interactions wonderfully refreshing as it’s rare that you will find a small business brave enough to hold poorly behaved customers accountable for their actions. Reshmi has always been a joy to talk to and always takes the time to offer advice and tips when asked. She’s also bloody hilarious. ♥️

We've bought 2 special occasion cakes and have loved them both! We chose "off the shelf" designs from the website and they looked exactly like the photos. They were delicious and indulgent in the best way (without feeling like I'd overdosed on sugar). The best balance in my opinion.
On one occasion, I accidentally zero details, including a delivery address and received the nicest email asking the very obvious questions in a way which somehow didn't make me feel like a total arse. Delivery has always been perfect, the sparkler candle is always appreciated and I can't wait for our next "big" event to purchase another.

She made the most incredible cake for my parents wedding anniversary. It was absolutely beautiful and the flavours were sensational- all of the guests raved about it and there was not a crumb left. She was so helpful, kind, creative and delivered exactly what we asked for. We will be ordering all of our cakes from here going forward. Next on the list is that dreamy pistachio cake for my partners birthday.

Amazing recipes and talent! Cakes are always beautiful to look at and taste incredible. The ‘hero’ sponge recipe is a go to always for me and Swiss meringue buttercream is incredible!

I bought the praline cake sandwich from Anges de Sucres and it was absolutely delicious! I’ve also bought the hero sponge, chocolate variation and swiss meringue buttercream recipes and they’ve been fantastic! Will definitely be ordering cake from here again!

I’ve used this company’s recipes for SMBC and honestly, it’s the best. I’m a home baker and her recipe for SMBC has elevated my cakes. As advised, I don’t refrigerate the SMBC, nor do I refrigerate the cake (I have never done this as I know it would create a hard and cold cake, contrary to the desired soft fluffy cake most people want). Thank you for all the tips you provide to help us home bakers!

My review of Anges de Sucre is about 10 years overdue, that's how long I've been buying these cakes. I first did so in Selfridges, then at the now sadly defunct shop off Ken Church St and finally online, but in all this time Reshmi has simply gone from strength to strength, now offering a simply shocking array of cakes. I'm no pâtissière but, like Nigella, I self-qualify as an expert by virtue of being an eager eater [and thus always reassuringly "a little bit fat" like Bridget Jones] and having had cakes from every man and woman and his and her dog in London [Harrods, Lola, Peggy Porschen, Lili Vanilli, Flavourtown, April's Bakery, Konditor, F&M... and these are just the first that spring to mine], Reshmi consistently blows them out of the water sideways. Note the use of "consistently" which is very important in my book.

In simple terms, every time I tried some else's cake I would always end up disappointed on a varying scale, with some of them covered in greasy icing, others only good for 24 hours, and others still progressively drying out down the rainbow layers [how is that even possible?! WHY!]. None of that with a cake from Anges de Sucre who simply seduced me since my first one [and you never forget it, mine was the ghetto riche cake which you can still order] and continues to entice me with many designs that sit the right side of kitsch, where I spend most of my life. Still toying with the possibility of ordering a croque en bouche one of these days... may need to invite 50 random people to my digs or perhaps concentrate really hard and power-through solo.

This is the kind of business that is gonna blast you on her instagram page and block you if you are unhappy with your cake, instead of acting like a normal person.
Then her followers will come at you and send you death treats. I am too old for this kinda shit.
Very arrogant and rude. Cake was dry smelled and tasted weird. I wouldn’t say it was Londons best luxury cake. Even tho it did look nice i have to admit. If i was you i would only get a smash cake from here.

I had the MOST AMAZING experience with my cake from Anges de Sucre, from beginning to end the process was so smooth and efficient with fantastic communication and friendly customer service from Reshmi. She is so professional with so much knowledge, great ideas about design and flavours, I had a custom birthday cake designed for me which was so unique- I absolutely loved it! It really looked exceptional as my centrepiece and all my guests commented on how amazing it looked- it also tasted absolutely delicious! The buttercream was simply divine and it was truly the highlight of my party. Delivery could not have been more efficient either. Excellent service all round. I would highly recommend in a heartbeat and can’t wait to have more special cakes again in future!

A friend ordered from here a little while back, for a special celebration while we were in London. All communication was brusque to the point of rudeness, with the insinuation that they were doing us a favour by providing the service we were paying for. Delivery was a mess, with us having to meet the driver at a shop as he was apparently unable to knock the door fifteen feet away.

The cake itself was not what we expected, dry and tasteless with a sourness to the frosting and buttercream, and while we did contact the company, they were very dismissive and kept banging on about how they have so many happy customers. All very well, but we were unhappy customers and they didn’t care at all.

To my surprise I recently ran across a social media posting of theirs in which they were not only berating a customer for a very reasonable review, but also stating that not only do they NOT refrigerate, but that cake should not be refrigerated at all. This does somewhat explain the sourness we experienced as I presume the cake had spoiled in the warm weather.

I have contacted the council to report these concerns as I don’t believe someone without basic food storage knowledge will be preparing items in a clean or safe environment either.
