First and, likely, last time ordering from AMS. Ordered a pair of studio monitors (Mackie CR45 BT) and was sent identical model except w/o BT connectivity (Mackie CR45). My receipt even indicates that I ordered and paid for the BT model.

Contacted customer support. Guy I spoke with was wholly unhelpful. Basically said "We have it priced wrong on our website. The model you paid for is the non-BT model. If you want the BT model, that will be an additional $30. You want to set up a return and reorder the BT model for the additional $30?"

Maybe the item was priced wrong on the website, I don't know, but I feel like the right thing to do would be to honor the listed price, make the correction to the website going forward, and not give off the scammy bait and switch vibes over $30.

Its past tge 45 day mark supposedly too they said because I waited to open it because I was out of town and then had an emergency was in hospital then finally got home and tried it out nd it was used pedal, cab looked used and sent wrong type of amp. An el34 not 6l6 iconic. Im paying the debt I guess, but I will be behind by alot because I had to buy different gear. Bad experience. Open your stuff immediately, check to see if it was used and repackaged, check that they send you the correct order ect.

That being said for my trouble they sent me a gig bag at no charge

So I bought what I thought was a brand new Denon DJ Prime 4 Plus for $2,200. Wrong! Because I use it in poorly lit conditions, I never noticed the paint coming off the black screws around the fader. The only way I noticed it was because the fader would start moving to the right side without me doing anything. I then turned the lights on to look it over, and there it was: screws that had been tampered with. You know, when someone uses a screwdriver on painted screws, the paint comes off and you can see silver.

Well, thinking I was dealing with a great company, I explained this to the representative, and he then told me I had a few months left to get the warranty company to fix it. I'm like, "What do you mean!?" I'm calling to inform you and make a complaint that I wasn't sold new equipment; it was open and damaged. Still, I was told to call them because there was nothing they could do about it. I called the warranty company for weeks and never got in contact with anybody—nobody, somebody—no return calls. I have been trying, but I haven't found any solution for my issues. It's past the warranty date, and I'm stuck with bad equipment from American Music and no help! It's safe to say I will continue to spread the word on reviews, social media, Reels, YouTube, and X. I have proof, and I will detail in video and pictures that this equipment was already damaged.
