Travel insurance quotes are a lottery, especially with a complex medical history. The online process is very flaky with all the companies I tried and can jump from "No Quote" to excessive to reasonable without any change in details. A quote for £700 (Staysure) for 4 days became (with All Clear) "No Quote" then £198; then £376 for a year. The annual quote went up £50 if I delayed the start date by a month.
The telephone support with All Clear (Chloe in Southend) was very good however and removed some of the uncertainties of a totally random online experience.
