No report produced
I booked Paul Jennings from Aldas Ltd to carry out an air tightness and leakage test and thermographic survey of my new build property.
Mr Jennings arrived in early January and carried out the survey in a professional and thorough manner. He apparently found a multitude of problems, and I was expecting his report to be very useful in my battle with the developer of my new build property.
On leaving Mr Jennings said he would try to get his report to me that day or if not by the end of the week. The quote for Mr Jennings services states: "We aim to produce our written report within five working days of testing".
In the following weeks I managed to reach Mr Jennings on the phone a couple of times where he said "I suppose you want your report do you?" and "I'll try to get it to you by the end of the week". The report never appeared. He never replied to emails. After 6 weeks I complained to his trade association ATTMA. They managed to talk to him but he just gave them the same story of "I'll try to do in the next week or two".
It's now April and I assume the report will never show. It's all very odd since if Mr Jennings had produced his report I would have owed him a sizeable fee.
