Not up to standards - be better
Between an old car and a driver who was way past retirement age but still continue to use his phone while driving (and therefore swerving while on the motorway), this was not my expectation or past experience of Airport Cars Gatwick. If I pay a premium compared to Uber, I am expecting security at least to be part of the service.

Lone traveller, so not cheap, but cheaper then other sites & safest option. Easy to find the booking booth right outside the terminal. Chap at reception was polite & waited 2 mins for the taxi, which was a Mercedes. Driver also polite and v smooth & efficient drive home .

So expensive...
So expensive.... I appreciate that it is prime location and convenience, but nearly £40 for a short trip to Smallfield is excessive. Then the driver asked for a tip! This was during the day, so not unsociable hours.
I know cars are high standard, but you are clearly making a lot of money out of the short trips. I am going to switch to airport parking now as a really same price as two cabs (to and from airport).

Dear Eleanor, thanks for your feedback, we regularly benchmark our prices with those of other Airport transfer providers using like for like vehicles and we are normally within range on all vehicle types. Airport fees and fuel costs have risen drastically in recent years and this has also influenced fare costs.

My second time of using airport cars…
My second time of using airport cars Gatwick, flight delayed, early hours of the morning, 5th June , very tired . Well perfect service, cheaper than Uber BUT the best was the service the driver provided, lady travelling alone , huge suitcase, a real gentleman with fabulous humour on my journey home. Carried my suitcase to the door and ensured I was SAFE . Thank you so much I was to tired to ask you your name .
