Bus stop hell
I have decided to write a review here because it's now been over one month without a response to three different times I have tried to contact the company. Twice via email and once over the telephone.
I booked the coach to get back to Stansted Sunday morning. I arrived at the bus stop which was stated on the ticket "Bishopsgate 175, bus stop G" at 04:20 and waited there for over twenty minutes, no coach arrived. The road was actually closed ahead of the bus stop which was a concert from the off. I frantically looked online to see if there was any information about a replacement bus stop but to no avail, there was also no information of any changes on the email or the attachment with the email.
As you can imagine the next few hours were hell for us, we were in a huge panic. We spoke to a man who worked for National Express and he mentioned an Airport Bus Express coach had left 5 minutes before we even arrived at the bus stop (04:15). That is twenty minutes earlier than the time we booked. We ended up spending more money on another method of travel and we are now out of pocket to the tune of £70. I would like our original ticket to be refunded asap. This really was a terrible experience which is a shame as the journey from the airport to London was a great experience, which led us to book the return journey back with you.
I really hope someone gets back to us eventually but it's been over a month now. The journey was a nightmare.

Lovely staff and amazing people who made my journey wonderful. The bus is always on time and it took me 40 minutes with the bus to reach my destination. It is also cheaper than its competitors. I highly recommend this company!

Great service and the driver were…
Great service and the driver were friendly and so polite.
However, what a palava to find the bus. It’s not signposted. Spent a good 20min walking in circles trying to find a sign, anything! It’s fine and we’ll to say bus stop 20 but Stratford is massive and busy and some thought should go into signposting to an international airport

Poor customer service
Tried to book online and payment kept failing due to bad internet, bought in person and got home safely. However, payment went through the following day on the online booking (so paid twice), received a booking confirmation for a bus ticket on the previous day. Have been emailing and calling for weeks trying to get through for a refund and never an answer. Lots of similar reviews on Facebook- would recommend avoiding.

Forgotten suitcase safely returned!
I took the bus from the airport to Stratford and forgot my suitcase in the hold. I took another shuttle back to the airport and was so relieved to know it was in the company’s lost and found! Ray, my hero bus driver, had realised my bag was left behind, and brought it back safely to the airport and I’m so thankful for that! Thank you Ray!!
The only thing I’d improve is to have it in the website FAQ on what to do when you’ve forgotten luggage in the hold. I also tried calling customer service who didn’t pick up the call which might’ve given me some more info on the best thing do i.e maybe saved me the journey back to the airport as the staff told me later the suitcase could have been put on the next bus to Stratford. And also I’d know earlier whether the suitcase was found.
Other than that everyone was so kind and helpful and the journey was smooth and enjoyable! The bus is clean and the timings are accurate! Would recommend!

I use Airport bus express since before Covid because the company, on top of being cheaper than its competitor, also has a fantastic customer service. The staff in the field is always very helpful and welcoming. It only is a shame that Airport bus express no longer run a service from Stansted airport to Victoria....

First time and last time i used this…
First time and last time i used this service very unreliable with time keeping … staff no where to be seen to inform passengers about the delays at stansted airport they only showed up when bus arrived late to check tickets (they were hiding somewhere)while there were at least 5 members of staff & plenty of 🚌 🚌 and actually two buses departing to the same destination by National express while we were waiting .. the price difference between them is only £1-£2 so you won’t even save much either
I would not recommend even the driver was joking with his colleagues that its not AirPort Bus Express but “mental bus express” he was rushing while driving obviously because he was running late I didn’t feel comfortable while on board

Excellent customer service.
I didnt travel with the company, but i had to get to Luton yesterday and a man who was working at a desk for this specific company, gave me all the options for me to get there on time for me and my friend, he was extremely helpful , patient and we managed to get there just before the gate was closing because of his help, im extremely grateful for this and im sad i didnt get his name but he was amazing and saved my day. Next time i come to London i will definitely come to travel with them just because of how amazing the customer service is.

Very rude bus driver
I usually travel on one of the coaches from Stratford to Stansted. But few days ago I experienced extreme rudeness from one of the Airbus drivers. The driver had occupied both front seats of the bus with his personal belongings. The driver has no right to do that, as the seats are for passengers and they can sit freely with a purchased ticket. I told the driver I would like to sit at the front seat and left my bag there, not only he responded rudely but also he picked up my stuff and put it in the seat behind. I found his behaviour rude, arrogant and ignorant. He should not be touching my stuff or occupy seats in that manner. I made a complain in the airport Airbus office. But sadly the management doesn't careless how their drivers treat passengers. (I've decided to travel by national express now. Their staff are more professional and friendly. And they don't hog seats.)

Fantastic team
The first approach with this fantastic team is immediately after passport control, where you can buy your bus ticket, even with discount if you are in a group(only 10£). It really does take 45 minutes from Stansted Airport to Stratford where you can easily take the tube into the city centre. I highly recommend travelling with them.

Flexible, Efficient & Super Helpful
I wanted to get on an earlier coach after I booked and I called and spoke to Silviu who assured and ensured there would be no problems with changing on the day. He was super helpful and I can confirm that there was no issues on the day as described! Even when I had difficulties finding the location, Patrick and Silviu kindly helped me find the place in an efficient manner. Super grateful for the service and glad I booked with Airport Bus Express!
