Could not agree more with the worst…
Could not agree more with the worst reviews on here! Wellies leaked after two weeks ! Call handler on “Helpline” was completely uninterested, telling me it’s not down to them as boots were bought from a shop . Shop claimed that as the boots didn’t leak after being put in a bucket of water that they couldn’t possibly be leaking but would send them back at my expense! I will never buy Aigle products again! Absolutely diabolical!

Great if your wellies are fine and you…
Great if your wellies are fine and you bought them from Aigle direct. Pretty diabolical if you didn't. Customer Services are unhelpful, arrogant, and basically couldn't care less that a pair of wellies have split after 5 months. Won't give them the time of day again.

Poorly made boots with no aftercare
Owner of two pairs of Aigle parcour Wellington boots which I've owned since 2011 very comfortable, watertight and still in use today.
Decided to purchase hiking boots and less than two years old there seems to be an issue with the sole delamination and has air pockets so everytime you walk they make a loud squelching/farting sound on every step .
Emailed Aigle got a reply same day telling me to take them to a cobbler, think they are missing the point ! They can't repair their own handmade boots but expect a random cobbler to repair them !! Boots that have been well looked after should expect to last longer than two years.
Will never recommend or buy Aigle products ever again ! .
They happily tell you handmade in France with care, genuine skill and know how, don't care about after care service but happy to take your money .
Really disappointed at the email reply.
I'm sure Hiram Hutchinson would be turning in his grave if he knew what his brand has now become, eg nothing short of poor quality hand crafted boots,
When you read their website you feel like you can't go wrong , well don't be fooled !!.

The quality of some of the items
The quality of some of the items , eg down jacket, scarf, is extremely poor and worse than cheaper fast fashion brands such as uniqlo
The jacket seams are not sealed or sewn well so all over the jacket little feathers appear. You pluck them but still somewhere else little feathers moult.
The scarf I handwashed in cold water as instructed on the label prior to wearing however the colours (black and white) started to merge and turned grey I took it back to the shop who sent it to whoever and then got an email a few weeks later saying it's my fault!! The quality of the dye caused it to run and it didn't say you cannot hamdwash and just gave it back to me - no apology or anything.
We've been loyal customers for SOME 35 YEARS - no customer service at all TERRIBLE AND EXPENSIVE
Aigle boots are a complete disaster
Aigle boots are a complete disappointment. After only 7 months, they are already showing cracks – unacceptable for boots in this price range. The rubber quality is subpar, and the calf adjustment system is downright faulty. At this price, I expect durability, not defective boots after such a short time. I will never buy anything from Aigle again. Please share this message widely.
Dreadful customer service for a simple return!
Dreadful customer service. Issue still not resolved after 10 days! I ordered a pair of boyfriend rain boots costing £135 plus postage. They arrived last week but didnt fit comfortably round my calf's. The day after they were delivered I created a return. I opted to drop them off to a local DHL drop off point and chose DHL standard return because it was cheaper. What their returns portal does not make clear is that you can only drop off locally if you choose DHL Express which is more expensive! Having been refused at a couple of local drop off points I contacted Aigle via their live chat. The result of the live chat was someone would look in to it and I'd get a response in 48 hours. The response 2 days later was they would arrange collection and asked me for dates I would be available. I emailed straight back with 2 different dates. No reply! When I chased via the live chat after the first date has passed I was again told someone would respond in 48 hours. That email was received this morning - it was exactly the same as last week - asking me for a date they could collect. I replied immediately complaining and saying I wanted my original return cancelled so I could choose DHL express and control the drop off myself. That was this morning and 6 hours later I've had no response. I simply want to return the boots so I can get a refund. Its really not difficult!! I was considering ordering a different boot but not now. Could someone senior at Aigle please contact me without delay to get this matter sorted.

Rubbish Wellingtons
Bought a pair of Aigle Parcours 2 Vario €170 in January 2024 from Pecheur.com. What a waste of money! Within 9 months the rubber perished and cracked. They had only ever done light farming work an hour or 2 per day at most. Don’t be deceived by customers saying they’ve had these boots for 12 years with no problems. They don’t even give 12 months service. Do yourself a favour and spend your hard earned cash elsewhere. These boots are no better than a €20 pair from Aldi!
Pecheur’s response return for evaluation by Aigle. Aigle’s response; For any quality concerns regarding a purchase made through a reseller, please contact them directly to find a solution with them.
In other words their so called 2 year warranty is worthless.
Needless to say I won’t be buying Aigle again, you have been warned!
Poor quality, no customer service interest
Bought a pair of boots which started perishing after very little use.
Contacted Aigle, they had no interest and wouldn’t even consider repairing them.
They used to be an amazing brand, now they just sell shoddy products at premium prices and don’t care at all about service!
My order hasn’t arrived - no help from customer service
Placed an order on 19/11/24, after not receiving my parcel I tried to contact Aigle on 02/12/25, 04/12/24 and 09/12/24. It’s now been almost a month since my order and I’ve not received an update.
I just want my money back.
Parcours 2 Vario Wellies
I ordered a pair of Parcours 2 vario wellies from one of Aigle UK's authorised retailers. First pair was delivered last week. There was a 3cm difference in height between both boots. The back of the boot was coming away. I returned the faulty pair for a replacement. Received the replacement yesterday. The boots still have a height difference - not so much this time about 1.5cm but still noticeable. The quality isn't there anymore.
Split sole
Such comfortable wellies to start. Started getting wet feet in one. There was a split visible on the bottom. Repaired with special sealant but it still leaks. They have been well looked after and used infrequently.
Nowhere near as good as my old Hunter wellies that I had for around 15 years.
Don't buy "waterproof" Aigle soft rain M2
Very very disappointed. I recently buy a pair of Aigle Soft Rain M2 supposed to be "waterproof". At the first walking in the wet grass with my dog I found my socks wet and water has entered in the boots. Really scandalous for an article that costs 145 euro!!!!!
Don’t waste your money
Oh dear I can now see why I haven’t received a response to my complaint, after reading some of these reviews. I too have experienced a split in the toe of one of the wellies within a short space of time. It’s such a shame as they are really comfortable boots but as I work outside in the woods for several hours a day I need a product I can rely on.
rubbish wellies
well well These wellies offer no support what so ever and prior to these i had a pair of percussion wellies which were fabulous compared with agile.I spent around £200 for these and what a rip off. Bloody RUBBISH. Order number 2480504 purchased from UK Outdoor Store.

disappointed, lack of replies to queries
Quite disappointed with aigle, several years ago I got hiking boots and loved them. So when it was time to buy new wellies, I decided to go with them based on my past experience with the walking boots. I use wellies every day in wet conditions, so what a disappointment that two months in I start feeling dampness in the heel of one of them, couldn't see any obvious hole, but can feel the wetness everytime I'm in a damp field on the right boots heel.
Wrote to them asking advice, they asked for photos, sent them back on ther 16th, then I followed back up again on the 25th of October after getting no reply and still no response.
Very disappointing, will be looking for a different brand for my next ones. Things go wrong with boots, but the lack of response annoys me the most; the boots are expensive, and you expect a response to that when you're asking for advice. They've lost me as a customer, which is a shame, as before I was a huge fan and recommended them on the basis of the hiking boots I had.

Do not trust the Aigle warranty
My Aigle boots developed a big split after 11 months of infrequent usage. Aigle refused to honour their warranty as apparently the boots must be cleaned after every use. Who does this with wellington boots? Clearly a rather pathetic excuse to avoid their obligations to their customers, as many other reviews on this site confirm. I will never buy another pair of boots from Aigle.
Rubbish quality wellies and customer service
My wellies have split by the toe with 12 months, no response from Aigle after trying to contact them via several methods. I am very much looking forward to my new pair of Barbour wellies arriving. Used to be the best boots on the market, I wouldn’t even touch them now.

Aigle Carville 2 short boots purchased 1.7.24
I purchased my Aigle boots (women’s Carville 2 in black) from Amazon 3 months ago. I have worn them very little and now the autumn has arrived I expect to wear them in wet weather. I am very disappointed as in no time they have developed a hole in the toe of one boot. I spoke to Aigle customer ‘care’ today and was informed the boots were not under their two year warranty as not purchased directly from Aigle!!
The quality of these boots is very poor and I would not recommend them nor their customer’care’. I would have expected a well known brand to be more concerned about the quality of their products.
I gave one star as it was not possible to give zero.
Train the Sales about Pairing Boots to Customers
I bought size 38 Aigle rain boots but didn't realize there is 1.5 cm height discrepancy of the left and right, until I rested them in front of my shelf after I had worn them once.
I noticed serial numbers and tried contact HK GM via corporate website. I claimed all the fault not checking before I paid :((( They didn't check if boots are used anyway.
I don't accept hand made boots are selling in such conditions. This is affronting their craftmanship I would say. Wish I can post the picture here.
Their sales can tell you one thing about the products, country of origin!
Disappointing Durability and Lack of Accountability from Aigle
I purchased this pair of Aigle boots in October 23 2023, after having owned a previous pair for around three years. The first pair eventually split at the seam and started letting in water, but after being worn for a couple of hours daily over three years, I considered them good value for the money. They were comfortable, and I was satisfied with their performance, which is why I decided to buy a second pair.
Unfortunately, my experience with this second pair has been much worse. In less than a year, the same issue has occurred—the seam has split again, and they’ve started letting in water, making them unusable. For a premium brand like Aigle, I would expect far better durability, especially in such a short time frame.
What’s even more frustrating is the lack of accountability. I reached out to Amazon, but they refused to help as it was past their 30-day return window. I then contacted Aigle directly, expecting them to stand behind the product as the manufacturer. However, Aigle refused to take any responsibility because the boots were purchased through Amazon. Essentially, neither party is willing to address what is clearly a defect in the product.
I’m extremely disappointed—not only with the product’s poor quality but also with Aigle’s dismissive customer service. A manufacturer should take responsibility for the quality of their products, regardless of where they were purchased. This lack of ownership is unacceptable for a brand of Aigle’s reputation.
Overall, I expected much better from both the product and the company. I would strongly advise potential buyers to consider this before purchasing.
