I booked the Nha Trang SEASTA NHA Transport Hotel in Vietnam on July 18 (2 nights) and the hotel reservation date is October 18 (2 nights). Computer error? Who has a problem, hotel or Agoda? I have to fly in the morning of the 18th, do I have to stay on the street? I have to answer the phone within 48 hours. I'm frustrated. Please help me
Don't use AGODA!!!! Look at the pictures! They are either a scammer, fraudster, or just simply a cheater. Agoda charged me $133.37 and the motel also charged me $117.36 for that same night same room and same location. The motel receptionist told me that Agoda will send me the receipt when I asked for it that night and the receptionist did not willingly given me a copy of it. When I looked at the charges, I called, emailed, and texted chat with its AI referral many times but it gets no where. Agoda asked me for for a proof of receipt but it was not given to me. It asked me for an official card statement printed out statement but it won't send out a month later. I also explained and sent them the online access account charges. I called the motel receptionist again but he referred back to Agoda. Additionally, one of the agoda customer service at this number 866-656-8207 even recommended to dispute through my bank. They are just doing this to get by and I ended up closing my accounts. So don't TRUST them. This is the 2nd time for me. The first was last year January 2025 with smaller amount so I just ignored it. So dont let AGODA scam you like me!
Like many other customers, I have now experienced Agoda selling a room that could not actually be provided. I would never have expected this from a global booking platform.
The compensation offered is poor and does not come close to reflecting the loss of receiving a room that is approximately 20 m² smaller than the one I booked and paid for. This is not acceptable customer service, especially when Agoda has acknowledged that the issue was caused by its own technical error. A comparable or upgraded room would have been the fair solution.
Agoda offer the best deals and a better choice than booking.com BUT them and their crooked mates at EXPEDIA like to charge people TWICE for their accommodation and say it's the fault of the hotel, who I have stayed at regularly over the last three years and have had no issues before.
A PENDING refund for the DOUBLE CHARGE appeared on my online credit card statement yesterday, but has now VANISHED with NO credit to my account!

So I booked to say with the grosvenor in Plymouth on Friday the 8th of May I booked through agoda and when booked i was not told about the reception closing at 10 o'clock at night so when I got the I could not get in I spoke on the phone with someone from the hotel that night and explained my situation and I was assured a refund would be issued and then the next day in person is was assured again as I was staying for 2 nights after emails back and forth trying to get the refund sorted and them telling me it had been processed and that id definitely be relieving my refund for the night missed i have still not received anything and its not July the 16th yet nothing abit of a shame as the second night stay was good no issues there just that I was promised a refund multiple times and nothing was sent out.
As for agoda they are absolutely useless and extremely poor with there customer service I have multiple emails with them and the hotel stating a refund will be issued within a few working days and this was now well over a month ago and yet not money have been refund to me I would not book with this company ever again.

I am extremely disappointed with Agoda. Not only did they advertise a hotel that looked nothing like the photos, but the property was dirty, poorly maintained, and, in my opinion, should not be accepting guests. The room had a stained mattress, a shower curtain that smelled of urine, no working internet or TV, and, most alarmingly, a broken window covered with cardboard, with exposed glass still sticking out—completely unacceptable and a serious health and safety risk, especially for families with children.
What made the experience even worse was Agoda’s lack of accessible customer service. When something goes wrong, it’s incredibly difficult to get proper support or speak to someone who can resolve the issue. Booking platforms have a responsibility to ensure the properties they promote meet basic standards of cleanliness and safety. Based on my experience, Agoda failed to do that, and I would think twice before booking through them again.

I accidentally booked my hotel for the wrong dates (which was totally my fault) and I immediately contacted agoda and the hotel. The hotel was gracious enough to allow a fee cancellation waiver, even though it was a non-refundable booking. However, agoda has been telling me that the hotel would not allow it (which is in contrary to what the hotel has been telling me) and that agoda has been telling me they had contacted the hotel, which according to the hotel, they had not. As of now, they refuse to reply me in their live chat.

If I could give zero stars I would. Do not trust this booking platform. I was traveling to Tokyo for the first time and paid in full to take advantage of their discount at a very popular hotel. I was told the booking was complete and given a confirmation number. I was traveling with my son from the US and would not have called the hotel but two days before departure I wanted to have something delivered to the hotel. I contacted reservations at the hotel and thank goodness I did because they did not have any reservation for me and the hotel was sold out. I contacted Agoda and they gave me the runaround on what's app for an entire day asking me to check all sorts of variations on my name. Then they assured me they would get back to me once they confirmed with the hotel. They never did contact me. So I contested the charge and now they are fighting it through my credit card company. It's essentially fraud. They take your money and don't deliver the service. DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM.

For several years, I’ve been booking hotels with Agoda, for myself, my family, and my friends, and I reached VIP Platinum status, a status that gets you the best possible prices on their site. Last year, I noticed I had another inactive Agoda account, and I asked Agoda to cancel it, but nothing happened. Since Agoda doesn’t delete this account, I can’t do anything and have to leave it dormant without making any bookings. A few days ago, to my great surprise, I received an email from Agoda saying they had canceled my active Platinum account and left my inactive Bronze account open, the lowest status with much higher prices. I contacted Agoda again to report the mistake, and the response was: it’s a shame, they can’t do anything, and it’s impossible to reactivate my Platinum account. A big company like Agoda can't recover an account deleted by mistake??? It's intentionally! This is a way to prevent the best customers with platinum status from getting the best prices on their site and make them pay more with Bronze status? It's unfair on Agoda's part to disadvantage their long-time customers to sell their products at make them pay higher prices now, so I’ll have no choice but to stop making all my hotel bookings with Agoda from now on.

I am extremely disappointed with Agoda’s handling of my recent booking issue.
I made a reservation through Agoda and received confirmation, but upon arrival there was no room for me. The owner of the property nevertheless refused to refund me.
I immediately contacted Agoda and have now exchanged more than 15 emails with their customer service team. While the agents have been polite, the process has been incredibly frustrating and ineffective. Agoda’s solution has been to contact the same property owner I am reporting and ask him to confirm whether he did anything wrong. This does not feel like a meaningful investigation, as the owner has no reason to acknowledge wrongdoing.
I have also found numerous reviews from other guests on Agoda and other booking platforms describing similar issues with this property, which makes this situation even more concerning.
Despite providing all the information requested, Agoda has still not resolved the issue or processed my refund. I trusted Agoda as the booking platform, and I expected them to protect customers when a listed property fails to provide the service that was paid for.
I hope Agoda reviews this case properly and improves its process for handling properties that appear to repeatedly cause problems for customers.

I booked a hotel then at check out the site changed my date, then when I asked for a refund and to change the date they denied they and charged me full price and wouldn't cancle it. I tried several times to get them to help me and they refused. Do not work this company they completely suck. And steal your money.

They cancelled my booking just a couple of days before my stay, after I had already travelled all the way from Ireland to Turkey.
When I asked for the reason, I was told that the property had cancelled it. However, when I contacted the property directly, they confirmed there was no issue with my booking and that it was still active. However, they cancelled it anyway without any particular reason.
I also tried contacting customer service through the 24/7 support number, but nobody answered. The customer service was extremely disappointing and the whole experience was very frustrating.
I would not recommend this service. Stay away.
# 1 STAR – WORST TRAVEL EXPERIENCE EVER

**Location:** Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
I trusted Agoda with my holiday, and this has turned into one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had.
The hotel I received was **materially different from the property advertised on Agoda**. The hotel name, location, and facilities did not match the listing. I spent extra time and money trying to find the property because the information provided by Agoda was inaccurate.
After checking in, I found multiple serious problems, including:
* Very noisy air conditioners.
* Broken TV.
* Restaurant unavailable despite being advertised.
* Parts of the property under maintenance.
* Poor response from hotel staff.
I immediately contacted Agoda and provided photos and videos as evidence.
For **FOUR DAYS**, Agoda repeatedly told me they were trying to contact the hotel. The hotel never responded to Agoda's calls or emails, yet I was expected to keep waiting while my holiday was being ruined.
Instead of resolving the issue, Agoda offered me **USD 150 Agoda Cash**, refused to refund my unused nights, and kept asking me to wait for a hotel that would not even answer them.
I am a tourist in Saudi Arabia. I did not pay thousands of riyals to spend my vacation arguing with customer support while staying in a property that does not match what I booked.
This experience has cost me additional money, valuable time, and has completely disrupted my trip.
I will be sharing the complete timeline of this case—including my conversations with Agoda, photos, videos, and all supporting evidence—on review platforms and social media so other travelers can make informed decisions before booking.
Unless Agoda immediately refunds my unused nights and provides appropriate compensation, I cannot recommend using this platform.

When you are going to booking of hotels in agoda site they were show 2 adult what ever the price is..but when they booked and send a receipt their is showing 1 adult.
Hotel is taking extra charge for the same.because agoda booking showing for only 1 adult room booking.
And their custome care are unable to solve this issue.
Only because I can’t give zero stars. I booked through a cash back app and Agoda changed my booking which resulted in my original booking ID being cancelled and therefore not eligible for the cash back. The customer service has been shocking with them saying first what is a cash back app and they can’t do anything as it’s an issue with the cash back site. The cash back site tell me Agoda rejected the $400 cash back as the booking IDs are different. The customer service agent had no idea and said just bad luck. Shameful! I will never use Agoda or recommend it. What a scam to get out of paying a cash back
Agoda made us pay twice — and it is impossible to reach a human being or have a response.
Our experience with Agoda has been appalling.
We had made a booking and attempted to pay for it. Agoda then informed us that the payment had not gone through and that our booking was unpaid. We therefore simply followed Agoda’s instructions and paid for the booking.
We later discovered that the first payment had in fact been successfully processed. As a result, we have now been charged twice and have two different booking numbers for exactly the same guests, the same hotel and the same dates.
We did NOT make a second booking. We simply paid because Agoda told us that our existing booking had not been paid.
What makes this situation truly unacceptable is the complete inability to resolve the problem. We are currently in Singapore and have tried everything: chatbot, email, telephone support and assistance from the hotel, which has also contacted Agoda.
We even went in person to the Singapore address listed for Agoda. Agoda is not actually present there. We were told that the address merely receives and forwards correspondence. There is no Agoda office there where a customer can speak to anyone.
Emails redirect us to the chatbot. The chatbot does not provide access to a human agent. The automated telephone system eventually ended the call without connecting us to anyone. The hotel confirms that there are two paid bookings but cannot resolve the issue because the payments were processed through Agoda.
A platform that takes substantial amounts of customers’ money must provide a real and accessible way to reach a human being when something goes wrong. Instead, every supposed contact channel leads back into an automated loop with no apparent way to obtain human assistance.
This experience has completely destroyed our trust in Agoda and is making our vacations turn sour from day one! We will never book through this platform again.
We are simply asking Agoda to contact us and immediately refund the duplicate payment caused by its incorrect information that our booking had not been paid.
I have been using Agoda for many years without any issues. My last issue has made me see the light. I was on holiday a few weeks ago and wanted to extend my stay at the hotel I was staying at. I checked the room rates and they were similar across 3 booking sites but I choose Agoda as they were offering a $50 discount code. I decided to use the code and I have a screenshot confirming that I had a code which allowed for a $50 reduction on the booking. I hit pay and moments later I get a notification from PayPal that I have been charged an amount without the discount code including an email from Agoda with no mention to the code discount. I lodged a case on Resolution Centre and I get a response from Agoda asking me to click a link and upload my docs. Did that, not good enough, I now have to contact them via a robot who has to filter me through to a “human agent” it takes 50 minutes of waiting to get said human agent who makes me type up the whole story again and I wait another 55 minutes and no response just waiting online for nobody! Seems like customer service in India, all 5 responses from different agents seem robotic saying the same thing that the code did not apply, which I know. They are hell bent on not honouring the discount code. To me this is deceitful, misleading and disgustingly dishonest to bait customers with a discount code and wait for them to pay and then just remove the discount code. I will never use Agoda again! Disgusted with their dishonesty and their customer service is appallingly! What’s worse that an unprofessional dishonest company?? Stay far away from this company they only want your money and they have no ethics about how they get it!
All appeared to be well, until the day of arrival. After traveling for 10 hours and arriving at the hotel at dinner time, I was in their system, but agoda did not provide a working master card number. The front desk called 3 times over a period of a bit more than an hour to no avail, requested an agoda supervisor and the customer rep on their end, would not provide. We paid for the room on site, and I filed a claim with the card I used to make the reservation... we'll see.
