I placed a small order, they stayed in touch about the delay of one item and couldn't have been more helpful. It still came pretty quickly despite the delay and included a nice handwritten note.
The website isn't amazing user-wise but I understand their focus is more on being a physical store, and I'm very in favour of keeping stationery shops alive.

I received a used pen, unsealed and the pen itself had signs of prior use . It looked like it had been a test or display pen but I don’t care… it wasn’t new and sending anythjng but new a disregard for the customer. At least have the courtesy to sell used pens as seconds or handled. A total waste of time even though they were quick to accept the return and refund it. I wouldn’t use them for pens again.

My Twsbi Diamond 580 ALR arrived today, but the cardboard box was unsealed. In addition, the two seals on the Twsbi plastic case were partially open. Also, one of the mounts was missing. I purchased this pen as a gift, but it is not presentable. Incredibly disappointing.

Have been interested in fountain pens for six years - got my first gold nib from Write Here, had a pen repaired with them, bought stationary at the shop, ran into them at pen shows in the UK, and my experiences have been consistently excellent - John (and now Owen) are really top stuff.

I'm especially appreciative that they don't just try to sell you whatever expensive thing, but are patient with you and let you try different pens / figure out what you find enjoyable to write with. The best kind of service.

Great shopping experience, the item arrived very quickly and was really well packaged too. One of the things in my order was not in stock, but the team communicated that super fast and offered a couple of resolution options. Great wee shop, would definitely be back.

I went to book a table at Stazione Restaurant in Cambridge this afternoon to have some lunch with 4 of my friends. I think he was a manager there, and he was insulting and horrible to me, as I had a bag of food for my niece, who was at my home, and I would take the lunch to her. He thought that I was going to eat the food at the restaurant and chased me away very severely. Extremely rudely. I tried to tell him that the food was not for me and I knew the laws in a restaurant, so I took my things and left, but honestly, he did not need to behave like this to me; I was only a customer, who was meeting my friends there. Anyway, they lost five customers for lunch.

Love these guys! Our go to stationers, fantastic knowledge and really helpful family run business!
