Never order a holiday from Wowcher and…

Never order a holiday from Wowcher and Traveloo. I found out is a big scam. Payed for a 4* weekend in Roma at the price that was advertise and once you redeemed the holidays comes the lie. Was offered to arrived at 00.05friday-saturday and coming back Sunday at 6.00am, so spending less than 30 hours in the country which is breaching the contract already, they change as well the hotel for a 3* with breakfast and had to pay another £154 per person if I want another better timetable on the plane, which of course I was not happy and didn't accept. I asked for my money back and the agent did tell me it was not possible and offered another destinations,( that I had to accept it if didn't want to loose my money) so at the end we are ending going to Prague and paying and extra £89 p/p which doesn't make me happy and create a conflict in my family. This was not a deal at all!!, I could buy the same and choosing what I want for cheaper price. I was not even offered a breakfast for changing my destination or their lies in the advert😡😡😡

Shocking non existent customer service

The only time Wowcher contact me re my complaint about a non refund so far of £550 is when I put a review on. They completely fail to follow up on correspondence written directly to them or rectify their shoddy Travelmakers refund reluctance due to holidays sold that are totally unsuitable and are 100% refundable according to all T&C’s. It’s criminal that they are holding onto my money with zero communication

Wowcher is a disgrace

Wowcher is a disgrace , I made a booking for an overnight stay deal with BB and an evening meal at the end of August for a break at the end of September for my anniversary . I rang the hotel on the day of travel to be told they had suspended the agreement with wowcher back in August and told wowcher to inform me , I received no information from wowcher , luckily I hadn't wasted time and money to travel to the hotel but gave to beg wowcher for my money back , which they knowingly held on to and probably do with all their customers making interest from all the payments, without informing the customer. Terrible service and stressful trying to reclaim your money ill never use them again

This company are a joke

This company are deliberately misleading people. Got a voucher for a mystery advent calender, lots of branded calenders listed but the calender that arrived was worth about £2, really cheap and nasty.

I join lots of other people who give bad reviews. Have sent sent and received about 80 ‎WhatsApp messages ( and a lot of emails) trying to recover money for a faulty product. They deliberately take you round in circles in the hope that you’ll give up. I withdrew from my account sometime ago and all they offer you is a voucher, but I don’t want to touch the company again with a barge pole. I’m now resorting to a bank refund

Total incompetence at wowcher…

My friend gifted ne night in County Hotel Carlisle with a bottle of wine ,chocs and breakfast for two.
I followed how to claim it but kept asking me to pay even though my friend had paid. So my partner tried same happened so referred back to my friend. So she tried and was told it had been refunded. To whom we have no idea but none of us 3.Then 2 days after my partner hd tried 2 book us in he had an email to say hotel was ready for us even though they kept telling my friend it had been refunded and no booking. So she rang the hotel and explained nd said we wouldn't be attending as doing other stuff now and she had been told its been refunded. So next bit they kept telling my friend I hd to deal with it then my partner then back to her.
Totally incompetence of wowcher now very annoyed , complete and utter joke, well messing with the wrong people. I wouldn't even give them1 its zero beyond a joke. It needs refunding to my friend but keep saying they have refunded to myself then my partner. Total joke

DO NOT BUY A £99 HOLIDAY

PLEASE DO NOT BUY A WOWCHER £99 HOLIDAY.

I will repeat the statement…

PLEASE DO NOT BUY A WOWCHER £99 HOLIDAY!!!!!

After hearing about the experience online I thought it could be a fun cheap way to get away on a nice trip with my partner.

We purchased the £99 holiday and redeemed our destination and received Lake Garda in Italy. We were quite pleased with this as this is somewhere we hadn’t been before and had always wanted to go.

However, what they fail to tell you is that first of all there are hidden charges, all over the place. What started off as £99 ballooned to £426 for the both of us. Additionally, you have no control over the airport you land into and the hotel you stay at.

The airport we were landing into was Milan Bergamo and the hotel we were given was over 100 miles away. The Wowcher £99 holiday deal DOES NOT include transfers, meaning in addition to spending the £426 extra in charges we now had to spend £300 on a private transfer, or attempt to navigate the Italian public transportation system with heavy bags.

Also, the “hotel” we were given was in fact self service apartments. Another thing we were not told, and wouldn’t have known prior to going unless doing some research. This meant we would have to pack our own bedsheets and towels taking up valuable luggage space.

Trying to get a refund is impossible therefore we have decided to go regardless, however we have decided to go out of our own way and change the hotel to something fit for people to stay in, instead of the bug infested, dirty self service apartments we were given. This has meant we have spent an additional £400 on a hotel which is more local to Bergamo.

This entire experience has been awful and I strongly advise against anyone booking a Wowcher £99 holiday for this reason. This is only the start of our problems, there are far too many to write in this single review.

Please stay away, you have been warned!!!!

Don't buy the bikes

Just had to raise a dispute with my bank. Paid for 2 bikes £149 each then £29.99 delivery charge for each bike last week. They were meant to be delivered yesterday but they didn't arrive.

This morning I decided to try and get in contact with someone but was pointed to a email for the distributor as the only way I could contact anyone to do with this order

Sent a email but have received no reply. So I started doing a little digging and the company set up to sell items on Wowcher looks scammy and then I see the trust pilot reviews for Wowcher and lost all hope. As a last resort I've contacted my bank for a refund because I highly doubt I will ever see the bikes I paid for.

I purchased a Wowcher voucher as a gift…

I purchased a Wowcher voucher as a gift and even paid for the postage, but my friend never received it. After the voucher expired, I faced immense difficulty trying to reach anyone for assistance. This experience led me to the realisation that it’s often cheaper and far more reliable to book directly with companies. Wowcher appears to prioritise profit over customer care, which is incredibly disappointing. I will never use their services again, and I hope they enjoy my wasted £75. Save yourself the trouble—there's no need for Wowcher!

Bought a voucher with conflicting expirey dates. Bought on 8th Sept 2025 but Voucher states must use between Feb 2023 and 30th Sept 2025. We have 3 weeks to use it and wowcher not getting back after I requested 14 day money back guarantee. Something tells me they will get back to me after 14 days. Absolute con. Will never use again!
