Awful customer service
Awful customer service, I was sent a broken exercise bike, rusty, cracked and dented, I provided photos.
I was told very bluntly by Wowcher to wait 3 days and not to contact them again, even though I had photos I had been waiting months to here back from the seller.
Eventually was given credit, months later, but you have limited time to use it and can only use the credit combined in parts with multiple purchases, I had to pay about the same amount of money again plus the credit on smaller items, than the one large item I saved up for. Making it pointless to even have the credit, as my £100 thought about purchase was turned into multiple purchases of cheap stuff for over £100.
I would also like to mention the seller never once responded to me, which makes me think sending me a damaged bike was intentional, yet they are still allowed to sell on Wowcher.
If you Google the item you see on Wowcher, in my experience it's just as cheap elsewhere but that company will actually treat you fairly

Ordered a mystery household item
Ordered a mystery household item - paid £9.99 + another £3.95 which isn't mentioned in the blurb. Item arrived today and voila cooling cushions which I can get off Amazon for £4.95 with next day free postage. If you don't mind costly surprises, go for it, otherwise don't bother and buy from elsewhere. Block this site on your tech.
Christmas Mystery Deal
Christmas Mystery Deal - AVOID BUYING.
Firstly, I bought the deal and redeemed it via Wowchers trusted 3rd party merchant Travelodeal.
Travelodeal rang me to continue with my booking for this and get all the information they needed for my trip. I then needed to pay an extra £40 pp (£80 for us both to fly from Newcastle, our chosen airport). This was fine as we knew about it.
I was then given the worst flight times being 10.30pm (I believe on purpose for the reason of getting more money out of us), so I paid an extra £69 each (this includes the £40 each for our chosen airport). I agreed to this as we wanted the morning flight (which I believe it should have been anyway since it was for 2 full days for the trip, the original flights would have given us 1 full day away). I was then informed that those seats had gone and for another £20 (£10 each, bringing the new total to £79 each, £158 all together) so we could get new seats.
Secondly, I had an issue getting into my booking on Ryanair and had been in chat with them for over an hour to remedy the issue. Unbeknownst to me the login details were not my own but in fact Travelodeals.
They failed to communicate that to me within my email confirmation. The booking reference for my flights being correct but the email for the booking being theirs instead of my own as I wouldn't have expected they would have registered it as their own company. Along with the phone number attached was incorrect, nowhere near what I gave them when booking. I managed to change at least that so I will receive necessary information going forward. I can't change the email as once it's set, it's unchangeable. So frustrating and stressful. Nevertheless, I finally got into the booking with Ryanair's customer service helping me.
I have now been on Ryanair and looked at our trip details, and our seats aren't chosen. They are left as RANDOM. But for some more money through Ryanair, we can book our seats on the flight.
I have complained to Travelodeal about this as I have now to date paid £356 in total for a £198 Wowcher deal. That's an extra £158 for what? £80 total for our chosen airport and then another £78 for seats on a plane, sorry access to step on the plane?? I emailed my complaint of this to Wowcher who I informed me they would direct my email to Travelodeal, their TRUSTED 3rd PARTY MERCHANT. I emailed them myself about this, who have still yet to respond to my email regarding all this.
I have just done a potential deal myself booking the flights myself from Newcastle airport (morning flights) and the hotel Dublin One which we are staying at in the deal which comes to £264 or £282 if we chose carryon luggage (my Wowcher deal does not include this). I would happily scrap the whole trip and book it all myself knowing exactly what I am getting.
So, this supposed deal is not actually that fantastic. We only took the deal thinking it would be somewhere fancy in Europe as Wowcher advertise, but clearly the Newcastle airport selection gives you Dublin as the only option.
All in all, I'm hugely disappointed with this if I'm honest. What was meant to be a nice little pre-Christmas getaway with my friend has started with frustration and what feels like a joint venture scam between Travelodeal who have happily ripped me off for more money than was initially required and Wowcher. I just want refunded the whole trip and forget about any potential enjoyment.

Seems all they do is try to get money and more money from you! I ordered 4 pieces of soft pillows, and there hasn't been any update regarding shipment. Paid additional 7 Quid for express delivery, and still nothing!!! I see majority of the customers leaving reviews here are also upset and it's just about the same thing. No delivery update, and I've been told to contact the merchant directly. What is going on? Why do I have to take the fall for your incompetency?

Wow her mystery holiday
I have booked the Wowcher holiday for two. Once the travel agent at travel o deal contacted me it was made clear pretty quickly what this deal was all about… one big upselling scam. The agent advised me that the flights and hotel was available and he could book them for a £40 pp surcharge due to flying from a regional airport which was understood. He then tried to sell me a different hotel for an extra £100pp I think which I politely declined as the whole point in us booking this was for a cheap getaway which adding an extra £280 on would no longer make it. Once he realised this didn’t work he then tried to offer me alternative destinations which again I declined as we were happy with Budapest. After the ending of the phone call he then called me the next day to say that the destination was no longer available (which I couldn’t understand as the flights and hotel were still available to book online) when questioned about this he began to stumble his words and said this was due to the supplier. Again tried to upsell different destinations which I declined as I said if we have been given Budapest why are we now having to pay more to go to an alternative place which we were not offered. Once telling him I would have to think about this he then called me back repeatedly telling me that we would have to go to alternative destinations 5 months later on dates we could not do (hence why when we booked we selected the date) then miraculously we could go on the original date and with better flights with only paying the £40pp surcharge and only an extra £10pp. He then called and emailed me multiple times to ask me to reply to the email stating that I agreed with the booking which would be tying me into a binding contract with the company which I did not feel comfortable doing as by this point I had completely lost my patience and trust in the deal. I found this whole “deal” very pushy and misleading. All of this was also very difficult due to the fact I had explained to him many times that this is not what was advertised and he had a very thick accent so I was having to ask him to repeat things many times. I believe this is just a huge scam to upsell more things which you could easily book yourself for cheaper and with quarter of the stress. I would definitely not recommend this deal to anyone. It’s got to the point now we are £200 down and just very distressed by the whole situation.
If you were/are considering booking this “deal” my advice is don’t, instead think of somewhere you’d like to go and just book it as it; will end up cheaper or the same price (when you factor in all the extras you have to pay), will be somewhere you’d actually want to go with hotels you choose, will be 10x less stress.
Disgusting abuse of your data
Disgusting abuse of your data! Be very very careful. I have reported them to the information commissioner
Purchasing vouchers
Purchasing vouchers, multiple buttons to check out, resulted in adding extra cost for protecting voucher and subscribing to VIP, I did not need to protect a voucher and did not knowingly purchase this, neither did I want their VIP, 5 days of correspondence and finally agreed to refund VIP. Once purchasing voucher hidden costs of delivery and protection. Totally unhappy with customer service and will not use this site again
Good afternoon
Good afternoon. I purchased something from you but I have not received a confirmation . Order number 49826414.
Please could you send me your contact details? I can't see an email address or phone number. Thank you.
Mystery Tech my ass.
I was browsing wowchers site & came across a "mystery tech deal" costing £19.99 so I decided to buy. The advert for the offer showed computers, mobiles & various other electronic items so I thought I would buy & see what happened. The package sat with EVRI Couriers & was eventually delivered almost 1 week late. So the package eventually arrived & you might understand my surprise when I opened my "mystery tech" to discover it was a dog lead. Just a standard extendable dog lead. I contacted wowcher & after dozens of emails they assured me that if I returned the lead they would HELP me get a refund.
A TOTAL WASTE OF TIME - THEY WERE NOT INTERESTED.
I have now unsubscribed & they better not contact me again. The message is BEWARE DODGY WOWCHER DEALS.
Shockingly Unhelpful Customer Service
After placing an order for a duvet and pillows I waited for delivery by Evri.
It didn't happen...
So I whats app'd Wowcher. Oh boy what a total waste of time.
They basically raise a "case number" and walk away, telling you how sorry they are, please don't worry (repeated like a parrot would) and how "if" the supplier responds they'll let you know. They repeat all this every time you ask what the situation is but don't do anything of a pro-active nature to actually resolve your problem.
Please tell me I'm right to think if I've given them my money they should be doing everything in their power to get those goods to me or refund me?
Nope, bottom line is they couldn't care less.
There's a reason they're cheap right?
So I've had to go direct to their supplier who are just as useless.
So now I have to go to my bank.
Please everyone, do yourselves a favour and steer clear.
DO NOT USE TRAVELOLO/WOWCHER – A COMPLETE NIGHTMARE
From the moment I booked my holiday through Woucher (which uses Travelolo), it has been a nightmare. Just three days before departure, I had to call Travelolo four times due to lack of confirmation. Eventually, I was told the holiday I had paid for was fully booked, and if I wanted to go, I’d need to pay an extra £189 per person.
I told them this was not feasible, and they simply said there was nothing they could do. They pushed me to contact Woucher for a refund, who in turn sent me straight back to Travelolo. After being bounced back and forth, I’ve now spent almost three hours on the phone and sent countless emails trying to resolve this — and still, they refuse to help or refund me.
All they seem to want is more money. No customer care, no accountability. I’ve now been forced to consider legal action, especially given that Travelolo has already been taken to court multiple times.
I’ve asked for a full refund — which is more than fair under these circumstances — and they’ve flat-out refused. This review is to warn others:
Avoid Travelolo at all costs.
Never again!
Having never used this company before, I came across it when trying to bulk buy some toiletries.
I successfully made my order, paid for it and received an email saying delivery was for the 12th of June.
12th of June came and went and no order, so I gave it a few more days but still nothing.
In the end I got a friend to look into it as she uses companies like these, and I had completely missed the tiny small print about the stupid voucher you have to redeem to actually then pay for delivery before you get your order!
They'd already taken money from my account and the whole fine print is SO misleading.
Safe to say I'll never recommend this company or be using them again.
I did manage to contact them on WhatsApp to request my money back, so we'll see when that comes back into my account!
AVOID!!!
I am writing another review as no-one got back to me as they said they would, I would advise everyone to avoid the mystery holiday on Wowcher!! My disabled son redeemed my voucher and on top of that, Travelolo added so much more money on top of the holiday and with flights we would have spent less than 24 hours in the destination! Absolute rip off & they start ignoring you when you ask for a full refund!! I have now contacted Ombudsman and the small claims to open up a case against them as I am well within my rights for a full refund! I emailed on the same day even the same minute after my disabled son redeemed my voucher on the laptop as well as being in the 14 day period!! & even if I wasn't I am still well within my rights for a refund as I didn't redeem this myself! Absolute money grabbers! AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!
Order Nos. 49717824 & 49717806 a total of 12 dwarf patio fruit trees
I placed two orders for 6 dwarf patio fruit trees which were supposed to be delivered on 12 June 2025. Neither order arrived. I tried contacting Wowcher via Paypal link and received a message back saying 'link no longer in use'. Ive gone on Wowcher website and sent numerous emails from the link there. Ive sent numerous emails from my own account and also sent several WhatsApp messages. Although i can see the WhatsApp messages have been read ive not received a single message back from Wowcher, despite their website stating they will respond within 24hrs. Its now six days past the delivery date and ive heard nothing from Wowcher. They are very quick to take your money, but their customer service and response to enquiries is appauling.
