Overall, a very good product! We wish the Agile functionality was a little more seamless and user friendly. We love the ability to combine project work and other work together, and the request forms are a big hit at our organization.

3 1/2 stars - quick breakdown
Data Capture is a 4 - custom forms are not abstracted from core objects
Navigation is a 5 -
Performance is a 4 - system still hangs due to reporting overhead & large object models that need to be loaded
Data Viewing is a 3 - inability to set default views, filters, groups for projects. Further, the 100 record default for views cannot be overridden by admins or power users (forcing multiple click throughs)
Reporting is a 3 - still relying on materialized views, which create performance lags on system and have limited capability (need 3rd party solution tied to an ETL that can perform basic data management, advanced reporting and analytics
Security is a 4 - should not have to pay extra for encryption. Same security model should be applied to all objects.
Document Management is a 3 - restricted capabilities compared to basic ECMs, inability to attribute documents and build shared folder structures
Notification is a 3 - use of links in messages is problematic, can't create draft templates and tailor notifications
Resource Allocation is a 4 - tools are not consistent in assessing utilization across the system and dashboards / reports can't be sent out to managers for their staffs
Ability to influence product direction is limited

WorkFront allows us to bring visibility …
WorkFront allows us to bring visibility across all department projects. This allows our Governance Team to really focus on whether or not a project aligns with the companies strategic goals. The reporting features allow the team to see current status, health, issues and late tasks on a project. The use of project templates let's us set a standard resulting in fewer missed tasks related to compliance, marketing and project closure.
