SCAM! Deceptive 7-day trial billing trap & illegal customer service policy!
Do NOT trust their "Free Trial" marketing! It is a total trap to steal your money. I signed up for their 7-day free trial and explicitly cancelled on the VERY FIRST DAY. However, Wondershare illegally charged my card immediately anyway.
When I demanded a refund, their customer service (Crystal) gave me a ridiculous template response, trying to force me to provide screen recordings and software logs to "prove a technical fault." This is a complete scam and a deceptive trade practice. They are deliberately creating obstacles to avoid giving refunds for a service I never agreed to buy!
I have already reported this fraudulent billing to my bank for a chargeback and filed a complaint with consumer protection authorities. Stay away from this dishonest company!
I was charged and the product was not working properly. There was no support available. I couldn't have the video I needed on time for my event without a watermark. Contacted support that day only got AI bot responses, unrelated to what the issue is. Asked for a refund and their customer service is appalling and are refusing to refund me even though the product did not work when I needed it. Do not use this company! You'll not have any support.

I used Wondershare on my phone and I created videos, without any experience. I must say that I created them before so many apps swarmed in with Video Making with AI. My only Issue was when I decided to use the desktop, even though I logged in with my info it created a different account for me and I was finding myself having to pay for services in both devices. WHY DIDN'T I SEEK HELP IN GETTING IT RESOLVED??? Like most apps finding an actual live human help is becoming a rarity and I am busy developing my business. My creativity is momentum driven, I am not about to waste it on a few bucks. I just simply stopped using Wondershare for now. So if I could request an improvement is, sync phones, tablets, and pc's.

They create orders and charge your CC at will. If you place an order for something. A month or so later, you see recurring charges for the same product at the same amount. If you go into the billing system, it creates the illusion that you are cancelling the whole account. Obviously, if you have a job to do, you want to keep it and use it later. I cancelled the recurring "pseudo-subscriptions" numerous times over the course of several months. Finally, I see there are no recurring purchases.
BUT SURPRISE SURPRISE, a month later, I see an email from PayPal that they charged me again. NO SIGN of the charges in the ACCOUNT!! They are trying to charge undetected. DO NOT TRUST THEM A BIT!!!

Used the 3 day trial. Junk app didn’t work. Cancelled the app and subscription within in a hour and deleted the app. Won’t refund me unless i reinstall and and record it not working even tho they can see I used NO CREDITS! Junk and they still charged me!!

I purchased the Filmora 15 upgrade and requested a refund shortly after purchase. Instead of receiving a clear answer, I received repeated automated responses and was sent in circles through multiple refund forms and support tickets.
I have previously requested a refund from Topaz Video AI under similar circumstances and received a professional response much faster. My experience with Wondershare was completely different.
The software may be useful for some users, but based on my experience, the refund process is frustrating, slow, and difficult to deal with. I cannot recommend Wondershare to anyone who expects fair and efficient customer support.

I have a perpetual licence for Wondershare PDF element. This is the second time they have tried to force-me to download a new version whilst locking my existing licence. It is extremely time consuming to find customer support, which in turn adds to the sheer frustration experienced by this company.

It's scams, I subscribed for the 3 day free trial and they changed my card on the subscription and they app doesn't work so I cancel the subscription and I reach out to customer service for refund and they didn't refund me the money. It's scam nothing work you will lose your money

Wondershare did not work for me in recovering any files. I reached out to let them know that their product doesn't work and they did not refund me the $60. Be highly aware you will never communicate with a real person, phone calls and email is all AI.

I have been using Wordshare PDF element for the last 5 years and it has been great.
Recently I was forced to upgrade to the new program, and it is a disaster. The new program looks fancy, but it has less practical features than the old one. One of the key features i use it for is editing floor plan. The new one is extremely poor at doing this and I had to ditch the program and go to Adaboe.

Predatory Buisniness Model
I've been using filmora wondershare since 2022. For 4 years, I've been able to use the same assets I have always used for video creation. However, recently, I've notice a broad amount of text animations (including ones I use regularly), have now been locked behind the 'creative assests' paywall. ASSETS I HAVE USED FOR YEARS are now LOCKED. I have a perpetual plan subscription up until late 2028.
I am not paying for a subscription to reduce the value of a product over time. It's text animation assets now. How much longer before video or audio assets that are currently 'free' are locked away behind a paywall, if they havn't started already?
On top of all this, support is completely automated by AI it seems.
Absolutely appalling practices and I will be looking for a new video editor and cancelling my subscription to flimora wondershare.

Yes, it's a scam.
A.I. BOTs for support that don't know crap. On both chat sessions AND on the phone.
Impossible to get ANY real support.
Eventually, after arguing with the AI on the phone, it told me an email. Which bounced back as "Not Found"
EDITED: Notice their reply, the "case will be **reviewed with priority**"
They don't even know what case or product I am talking about or who I am.
If I do actually hear from them, I will update this rating. But I doubt anything will happen.
EDITED AGAIN: They updated the reply with the same text. I suspect even these replies are AI generated. Don't expect them to support anything. Just take your money.
