perfect experience, easy and fair price

I want to complain about the service provide by wir kaufen dein Auto. After a call received this morning by an employee of the company requesting to change our scheduled appointment today for a later one and in a different location (30 minutes away driving) , we got a new one, and when we arrived an employee at Ludwig-Erhard-Straße 2 has declined to take our appointment pointing out that the were closed already and that we have not understood maybe the person that called us, when I have shown him the date and hour received by email and text.

Absolutely a bad service given and time I have lost today.

I've added detailed photos with all the damage and detailed condition of the car.
I was offered a fair price, it was confirmed during the examination and after 2 days money was in the account, after 3 days I was deregistered.
Be honest and the price will be fair.

Gave a clear assessment of my old rusty family car and was offered a price of EUR 390. When I got there, that went down to EUR 79 with all kinds of snotty and unfounded excuses. Frankly what I expected, because that is the business model of most used stuff business in Germany, as it pays off for them, as people won't go to the pain of walking away again. But just expect massive discounts on the original bait price.

As I was leaving Germany I had to sell my car at the exactly right moment.
These guys were perfect.
All service 100%.
Price was fair.
Picked my Location and Time for drop-off, took an hour to wrap up an inspection and sale.
As good as it gets

I uploaded photos of the car as per instruction, got a final offer on my Mitsubishi Colt, made an appointment, got there, the car got checked out thoroughly and I got the same price as they had offered. Two days later the money was in my account. The staff were super professional. I didn't know this, but it's actually a live auction that takes place while you wait. I had several annoying phone calls when trying to sell privately and no better offers. Then they want to come and see the car and cancel in the last minute. Then you don't know if they are going to pay or deregister the car and you carry the risk. The traffic office didn't have any appointments for me to deregister the car. Wirkaufendeinauto.de does everything for you and it's well worth the price (I guess I could have got a few hundred more privately but it was just not worth the hassle). I've learnt from this experience not to trust negative reviews of people who might have had a different experience. Check it out for yourself. This applies to other areas of life. Thank you wirkaufendeinauto.de for a great business transaction. I totally recommend it and would use their services any time again.

Went online, entered the details. Offered me an appointment in an hour. Couldn't make it, tried again later. Offered me another I could make. Went to book, the site couldn't find the appointment they offered me. Eventually made one for the next day.

Got spammed with emails, texts which really annoyed me.

Went for the evaluation. Arrived 5 minutes late due to delays. Was told to make another appointment.

No chance. If they're serious, they'd be flexible. I'm sure if they were running a few minutes late I'd have to wait.

So an hour wasted, 40km driven for nothing. I'll sell somewhere else where I'm not treated like crap.

Update Nov 2020.
Company didn't bother to contact me, but challenged the review saying it wasn't genuine. I've convinced Trust Pilot that it is genuine. Says a lot about wirkaufendeinauto's attitude to customer service. I've since written to the MD complaining, let's see.
No, they didn't bother replying. Seems all they're interested in doing is pulling unfavourable reviews.

Time waste! I did the whole process: online estimation and then visited the center in Munich. After car inspection the price offered was 60% less than the car actual price if selling it privately. Also, it was 50% less than then first online estimation by wirkaufendeinauto. To compare, I went and got my car estimated by several other dealers and all of them gave me at least 1000€ (!) more than wirkaufendeinauto. In the end I sold the car privately. I will not recommend wirkaufedeinauto, as what they promise and what they deliver are two different things. It is just all about advertising that the company needs to pay somehow, well guess what, using YOUR money! Advise - go to other dealers and get your car estimated if you need a quick car sale.

Such a bad experience with these guys. Just wasted an hour of my morning - review message to confirm the meeting, I drive with car and papers to thier location in Bogenhausen only to be told that their system sent out the confirmation mistakenly. They are a start-up - all they have to get right is the IT system. Compete fail. Can’t recommend.

This firm it's a big lie...first off all, they give you sh** price for car, then after all are done, they offer the money, but -20% vat

Definitely false advertising, first bait you with a super high price, then you waste your time going there and them looking at the car. In my case, my car had no issues, was not an accident history car, completely clean title. Had the usual wear and tear (scratches etc.). The real offer came at 40% lower than the estimate... If they would be more honest with the estimates, they would save some people their time.
Let me give you a very specific example that I experienced. A Mercedes S500, 2007, with a specific mileage was quoted for 13,500 EUR. This Mercedes was fully serviced and without major issues (minor scratches and usual usage showing for this kind of car). Anyway wasted my time because the actual came to around 9,000 without explanation... I assume if people are desperate they will take it. Anything QUOTED vs ACTUAL that is 20% gap is deemed dubious at best. Funny story, a couple of weeks later, they send me another "bait" price, this time 16.613 €!!!
