It was a great offer

It was a great offer, only paid £9.95 shiping costs for 3 bottles of wine which is amazing value, and received within 2 days. Not much of a drinker but my brother's birthday is coming and since he's into wines, i though i'd sign up for the trial and take advantage of the offer. To permanently cancel the subscription, i had to call wine 52 on the phone, Kaye who answered the call was polite and understood the situation so it was a 2 minute call, and all sorted. Wine drinkers out there, you should take up the offer and also take advantage of the great prices, offers and discounts. I even considered taking up wine drinking myself!

Great beer and wine at a great price

The beers and wine were great at the discounted prices. They arrived quickly and well packaged and additional snacks with the beers were a nice treat.

Only frustration is having to call to cancel the subscription, however the colleague (Kaye) I spoke to was lovely and did offer lots of different discounted options.

I would definitely use both Beer52 and Wine52 again.

Customer service is always kind and helpful

I’m not always able to continue my subscriptions due to cost related reasons, today I was helped by Zayneb who was incredibly kind, social, and helpful. She offered discounts, made me aware of membership perks I hadn’t used, and was helpful in adjusting when payments would go out or pausing subscriptions with understanding of my financial situation

I contacted whisky 52 this afternoon & Zayneb at customer services was very helpful & understanding.
She was very professional and was able to deal with my enquiry.
I enjoy the whiskies and they are very good quality . Although a little pricey they are a luxury and to be savoured.
Thank you Zayneb for your time. You are a real asset to the company.

Their effort pays off

You can feel the thought and effort put into the selections and things like the art design work on some products add an extra enjoyable dimension, along with the information provided about the product sources.
The customer service team are always helpful and polite and efficient and have always sorted out the changes etc that are needed from time to time - including cancellations.

On the positive side

On the positive side, the wines are generally good quality and there’s a nice variety in each box. It’s quite enjoyable if you like discovering new wines without having to spend time choosing them yourself. The packaging and added materials, like tasting notes, also make it feel a bit more premium than just buying from a supermarket

A nice and varied selection of wines to…

A nice and varied selection of wines to try. Really like the supporting information and stories behind them that they provide. When I decided to cancel due to a change in circumstances, Kaye was helpful and offered other options without being pushy, and was happy to accommodate the cancelation.

Terrible wines

Terrible wines! They don't consider customers voices and do not value customer loyalty. Wines are never good two months in a row, I was promised a mixed case but only received a box of red. Called to cancel an order despite it not being shipped and they said they cannot refund me? What sense does that make? Agent on the phone was incredibly rude and unhelpful. Had to block them from my bank. Only way to avoid them taking money.

Terrible company wine very expensive…

Terrible company wine very expensive for three bottles £38.95 inc delivery email address does not connect support@wine52 I’m not phoning I only do business on line first, then if I get a reply then you know someone looks at emails to respond to problems but in my case no response if you are reading this pick your latest delivery please.
You try and cancel on line after answering a lot of questions but no response so stuff your wines

Hi Michael. We appreciate your feedback. Our prices reflect that we support our smaller breweries, vineyards and distilleries, rather than larger productions. Our suppliers often have larger overheads when producing smaller batches of their beers, wines, whiskies or coffee. Our products are of the highest quality and we offer many products that aren't available elsewhere, we produce a monthly magazine that customers enjoy reading, Our magazines for our products are included in every box and give our customers a wealth of knowledge on how we source our products, how our producers make their products as well as wonderful stories about the region they are produced in the stories behind their breweries, vineyards and distilleries.

Our boxes not only include our beers, wines, whiskies or coffee, but we also offer a quick postal service, snacks with our beers and wines and our product magazine in every box as well as amazing offers to use and share with family & friends. Our subscriptions are discovery clubs where our customers can choose to enjoy new and wonderful products every month, bi, or tri-monthly and of course, can cancel at any time should they wish to. We are sorry our prices may not be within budget for everyone all of the time but we of course try our best to balance our cost and supply prices as best we can.
