Very impressed with Windsor Galway

Dealing with Windsor Motormall Galway has been an absolute pleasure. Nathan in sales was informative, efficient and friendly. All my dealings were online/ on the telephone and he instilled enough confidence to buy a car unseen. Noel delivered my beautiful car yesterday and was an absolute gentleman. Everything A1.

Never again, missed out on car purchars

I went to buy a dacia duster from Enda in Galway. There was a sound coming from the car. A hum you could hear outside the car whilst driving it. I asked was this a problem as the car was due a service before sale. He told me that all dacia's were like this and that they all had said hum when driving. I have since driven a dacia in another dealer, there is no such hum.

Fantastic experience and service

From the onset, Nathan in sales was absolutely incredible to deal with. He was extremely efficient, understanding and organised. He followed up on any query I had and went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied with every aspect of my purchase. So refreshing to deal with somebody who deals with everything in a timely manner and is clearly very dedicated to his role as part of the sales team at Windsor Galway. I was originally looking at a different car to the car I purchased in the end. Nathan had great knowledge of both cars and nothing was a problem. At the showroom, there were tea and coffee facilities, all the staff we encountered were so friendly and helpful which makes all the difference. They really went above and beyond for me. I genuinely could not speak highly enough of Nathan, Cian and Ray and the team at Windsor Galway. Ray delivered the car to me alongside a beautiful hamper of wine and chocolates. Nathan was just exceptional to deal with and I will be sure to return to them for any future custom, alongside telling friends and family what a pleasure it was to do business with them.

I was bocked for a health check in…

I was bocked for a health check in Drogheda and the price on the phone was around 75 + vat, but when I came to take the car was 130 + vat. I paid the amount because i didn't know exactly what the VAT is, but i checked when i got in my car. When I asked why the price changed, they started to invent stories and the lie was going on for two weeks. I was calling other windsor services to check, I called ccpc customer care and they'll give you all the info needed if you have the same problem. There is a head office you can call aswell. Eventually I got the refund after two weeks as I was persistent and really don't tolerate lies. If you have the same problem and they told you you can't get the refund, you can. Call ccpc, call the head office and be persistent.

Don’t expect professional service. Avoid

I’m having a major reoccurring issue with the fuel cap of my Dacia Duster Car (231 D).
The cap keeps jamming. I now need the assistance of someone to press the lever under the passenger seat while I try to press open the release at the cap. Unfortunately, this doesn’t work either.
On numerous occasions I’ve had to leave the fuel forecourt and travel to Windsor Airside Dacia to get the cap opened and then return to the forecourt for fuel.
On five occasions I have re-visited Windsor Airside Dacia and requested a fix. Each time they state that they have adjusted and fixed the issue. However, within hours the cap malfunctions again.
It’s simply incredible that they treat customer loyalty in this manner.
Two weeks ago, I left the car into Windsor Airside Dacia for seven hours with a specific request to resolve this fault, however the issue is still there.
I’ve highlighted to Windsor Airside Dacia Garage that this fuel cap malfunction issue is raised several times across social media.
I’m extremely disappointed that Windsor can’t fix a minor issue that is causing great stress to me as their customer.
I’ve always believed that you should give the Garage an opportunity to fix the problem before complaining, however this treatment from Windsor Airside Dacia is completely unfair and unacceptable.
Last Garage visit :17 February 2025 Invoice C0280736
Contact information : Joe Fitzsimons
Phone number is with the garage.
Got a message from James two days ago promising contact from their Service department but turned out to be another empty promise.

LACK OF TRANSPARENCY AND HONESTY

LACK OF TRANSPARENCY AND HONESTY. FRUSTRATING EXPERIENCE!
I chose Windsor Motors Airton for a hassle free car buying experience based on a friend’s recommendation, but unfortunately, it turned out to be a terrible decision. After test-driving a couple of cars, I selected one and paid in full, expecting to collect it in two days as promised. However, on the agreed delivery day, I was informed of a delay and told the car would be ready on Monday instead. I accepted this without issue. But when I followed up on Monday, I was suddenly told the car had been sent to a body shop due to a “small mark” they had noticed. This immediately raised concerns, as the car had no visible marks when I purchased it. After pressing for details, the manager eventually admitted that a mechanic had damaged the car. I requested photos and information that took a way too long to receive and when I finally did, the “mark” turned out to be a significant dent in the door, something that could impact the car’s resale value. The lack of upfront honesty was extremely disappointing.
Although I was offered a courtesy car, I had to wait far too long for a response when I requested a specific vehicle I had test-driven as I was thinking about buying it instead. I also asked for alternative vehicle options and sent a couple of choices for them to check availability, but after two days, I still had no answers.
I understand that accidents happen, but they should be handled with transparency and efficiency, Windsor Airton failed on both fronts, making it impossible for me to trust them. In the end, I had no choice but to request a full refund, making the entire process a complete waste of time.
Based on my experience, I would not recommend this dealership.

Bought a car off Windsor motors swords about 4 years ago, had nothing but trouble with the car and I would have to pay them to fix it but several mechanics verified it was a very bad buy, I have five older kids and five grandkids, none of us will ever do business with Windsor again, the amount of stress they caused me was really bad and had to spend a lot of money getting it fixed, I recently traded it in and was relieved to see the back of it and Windsor motors

Once commission made your forgotten

Financed car on the 19th of December, all went well with the sale and finance. Car did not have nct cert in the window but I was shown on the day I drove out with the car that it was nct’d and told my sale receipt will be enough if I’m stopped by guards. I was told (sales person Drew) that nct cert was going to be sent off and will take a few days. Contacted sales rep again and again after the Christmas period (understanding with it been Christmas things can take time) asking about the nct and no Communication at all. I rang Windsor motor hall to ask what was the delay with the cert, I was told well it takes 10 days to arrive mind u it was the middle of January by this point. I have sent a message to the sales rep again asking if I should order the cert myself or has he got it and has ignored me on numerous occasions. If he didn’t want to deal with me and just get a sale out of me he could of said so instead of waisting my time waiting on a cert and making a fool of myself asking for it. I was also promised a second key off my car that someone would be out in a few days after the sale of my car and no such thing. Sure once they made there commission everyone’s happy right??

Windsor Galway excellent service

I have bought 3 Nissan jukes from Gary Brown and his team in Galway. Each time I have had a very positive experience and the aftersale service has been excellent. I had a problem last year with my car and Gary looked after everything for me. I will definitely buy from Windsor Galway again.

Stay away from this Company ,Scam

If you want to drive happy , stay away from this company. I'm replacing my van in 2023 and the reason was that my previous van was from them and there were no problems. Unfortunately, I can't say that about this van. Since the purchase, only an ongoing problem with the van, engine, oil leakage all over the engine. I wanted to return the van after 2 months of driving after buying the van, but they refused to promise to repair it under warranty. I gave them a chance, but the problem was still there, and they told me there was nothing wrong with the van. A few months of driving I asked them to check the van again because there was still a smell of burn oil, no power to the twin turbo van and a problem with 2nd gear. They took the van to check and as usual, they found nothing. When I showed them a report from an independent engineer, they finally agreed to fix the problem. As few months of driving, the van broke down again and it was the components connected to the previous repair. There are still faults that have not been repaired since purchase and windsor refuses to repair them. Some of the things that have been repaired are broken again, Windsor refuses to repair them. I tried several times to communicate with windsor to return the van, but they refused. John after sales manager always been cheeky not saying about head of sales Ivan Jurkovic who told me that he will not deal with me and I Can email God because in Windsor only above him is God , and I can take legal action against Windsor.

Joke company , not care about customer.

Disastrous experience

Disastrous experience

The sales went great! Very smooth. But, not soon after the purchase issues started to arise. A month after purchase I was given the run around by the service department over warning lights, various excuses from battery needs replacing to, a genuine battery need - only for it to be an oil cooler that was required. I brought the car back for a service in January 6 months on from the initial issue. Then I encountered more problems! Car e brake wouldnt release. Told me it was the cold after having it towed to them at my cost. Took the car back, problem immediately reoccured! Had to have the car towed again, now its a caliper needs replacing. When i raised the concern that the left siezed and the right siezed they didnt care. Very dismissive of faults!! Warranty or no warranty they do not make things easy!

I have been a service client of Liffey…

Ripoff Windsor
I have been a service client of Liffey Valley Opel for many years, never had a problem, there was a change in service staff at desk, over the last year or so, my car has its service every year on mileage time due,.. if there was a fault,, or something i wanted done, it was never a issue… I had absolute faith in the service manager that was there till late 2024..He was fantastic on all aspects of service, have never found a service person anywhere in any industry like him,, He left late 2024..
I called on Monday 13/01/25 to get my two back tyres replaced, which was continentals, which I use on all my opels over the years.. that’s what want, they gave me a price of €150 each plus 13% vat that came to €339.00..for two tyres.. I did my homework..beforehand.. and said that’s a rip off,.. can you imagine if they catch you on the prize of the tyres how they screw you on the service..
I went to Tyreland and they quoted me the same two tyres fitted for €220.00… a €119.00 ripoff..
I am taking my service away from Liffy valley.. opel… I cannot trust them.,I am disgusted.. Is this how they treat customers..???? by ripping them off like this…

Absolutely awful experience and…

Absolutely awful experience and quality of vehicle.
I bought a new car from Windsor Liffey valley in January this year 2024 and within a few day's the trouble started, warning lights and engine malfunction on the dash, I brought it in
They couldn't find anything wrong so it was given it back, it constantly has warning lights flashing on dash, loses power or doesn't start.
Endless problems .
Customer service is absolutely awful and leaves a very bad impression.
The last time my car was in for the third time Nissan Liffey Valley drove my car for 17 day's. I was not being given a courtesy car as the manager said they had none.
He did arrange for one to be drop at my home.
however 17 day's on ,still couldn't find the problem car was given back again, filthy on the inside and used a full tank of fuel. Obviously a member of staff had taken my car home for those days.
I had arranged with them I would drop the car back early as I had the two for one deal.
I arrived at the dealership at 1.55 and they had already closed when the female sales person had emailed they would remain open until 3.30/4
No phone call, email or text to say they were closing earlier than previous stated.
It has been very stressful and extremely difficult to deal with Nissan Liffey Valley.
I would never buy Nissan again not the kind of experience you expect when purchasing a brand new car.
Save your hard earned money and go to somewhere with Customer service and a professional attitude or at the very least appreciates your custom.

Windsor Nissan Raheny, shoddy cowboys

Bought Qashqai (1.2 petrol) new from Windsor Nissan Raheny in 2016. Have changed battery 4/5 times since (1st under general recall in 2018, 2nd during service with Windsor in 2020). When I called a few weeks ago, they told me NO other battery (other than 2018) was ever replaced by them on that car. Told me the same thing 4 times over 2 days. When I asked for copy of the service we had done in 2020, they emailed it and THEN claimed in their email that THEIR invoice, which clearly says "checked battery, battery faulty, removed & replaced battery" was inaccurate as there was no labour charge for this battery replacement, which tells them NO BATTERY was replaced on the day! My obvious question was, "are you suggesting that despite what's clearly written on YOUR invoice, you either put this faulty battery back in OR simply decided to leave it in the car"?

Fortunately for us, my wife had kept our copy of the invoice, with our credit card receipt for €560. Thing is, their invoice (same invoice number) is for €460 and whereas our invoice shows the name of the battery replaced (inserted on the 2nd page), theirs omits it completely! I wonder if revenue would be keen to audit why Nissan Windsor appears to be doctoring their invoices. I also contacted Nissan Ireland to ask whether they share my concerns about Windsor seemingly doctoring their invoices? Kevin in Nissan customer care said they more or less leave these things to their dealers. So much for their corporate ethics policy I guess.

Anyway, the problem now is that our engine needs replacing (presumably nothing to do with the battery issue). Despite having the car regularly serviced and with less than 50K km on the clock, Nissan refused to assist at all (other than asking us to pay €10k for a new engine, instead of €12k) for a car their salesman in Windsor Raheny said would attract a trade-in offer from them of €8k.

A bit of research into this particular engine shows that there appears to be a huge problem with this particular engine (just google Nissan 1.2 petrol engine issues and take a look at the hundreds of people with similar problems on the Nissan Forums). The guys I spoke with in Windsor Raheny and Nissan Ireland never denied this when we spoke on the phone. In fact, having since rung several engine builders for quotes to overhaul this car, their reaction has all been the same, they do lots of these engine rebuilds on that engine.

The feeling I got from Windsor Nissan Raheny is that they are like your stereotypical cowboy car salesmen masquerading as a 5 star dealership.
Anyway, they have the power as the car is out of warranty and we obviously will not be buying from Windsor Nissan Raheny ever again but I'm writing this in case anyone else is considering buying there but is having doubts. My experience from the start is that Windsor Nissan Raheny are untrustworthy.

Excellent aftercare

Had some issues recently with extended warranty and I have to say Derek Flynn in the aftercare team went above and beyond to get the issue resolved. I would highly recommend Windsor if anyone is purchasing a pre owned car.

Chirag the Princess Margaret Hospital Windsor

So tonight I went to the Princess Margaret Hospital in Windsor for my physio and I’ve never met this Physio before, but he was absolutely amazing. His name is Chirag he took such care in getting my arm moving again. Didn’t only give me exercises but he actually massaged my arm to try and make it better. I wanted to give him a really good review because that’s what he deserves. I tried to get it under the Princess Margaret Hospital but I just couldn’t find it anywhere and I hope that someone reads this and passes it on to him for me to say thank you so muchChristine Little

Windsor Renault Airside. I purchase my van in August 2024 brand…

I purchase my van in August 2024 brand new. My van has encountered a technical issue which is through no fault of mine, my van is road worthy but the majority safety features on the van are not working and this issue needs to be fixed on my new van. I have discovered that their after sale service is none existent with Windsor. I have tried countless times to get in contact to get an update on when my issue will be resolved but to no avail. Windsor are very keen to sell you a vehicle but not interested in looking after you once the sale has gone through
