Excellent customer service (via online chat) from Kay today. I purchased items which were then discounted in the sale only a couple of days later. Kay price-matched the difference for me and issued a refund. Very happy turnaround!

Dear Customer Service Team,
I am writing as a returning customer who has been shopping at your store for many years. I’ve generally had positive experiences, and the staff have usually been very helpful and friendly, which is why I felt disappointed enough to share this recent experience.
During my recent visit, I was not aware of the policy limiting customers to six items in the fitting room. To clarify, all of the items I initially decided to try were placed in the fitting room by your staff. While I was trying them on, I needed to compare a few pieces in different sizes or colors. In some cases, staff members helped me retrieve those items.
At one point, I realized I needed a smaller size for one of the pieces I was trying. The staff member who had been helping me earlier was assisting another customer at the time, so I stepped out to quickly look for the smaller size myself. At that point, the store manager suddenly approached me in a rather rude manner and said, “You cannot have more than 6 pieces.” She then followed me to the fitting room and asked to remove some items. I cooperated and handed back several pieces that I no longer needed.
At that point, I still had only four items left that I was deciding between (in different colors/sizes), in addition to three pieces I had already decided to purchase. Less than five minutes later, she returned and again asked if she could take more items away. I said no, as I was still deciding. Shortly after, the staff member who helped me earlier came over, and the manager immediately began discussing the situation with her in a low voice nearby, which made me feel very uncomfortable.
I understand and respect that the store may have fitting room policies and may not want customers keeping too many items at once. I am always happy to return pieces I no longer need. However, this situation could have been handled in a much more polite and customer-friendly manner. Typically, your staff have been courteous and respectful, which I greatly appreciate.
I don’t often have much time to shop, and when I do visit, I tend to purchase multiple items and spend time carefully trying things on. This experience made me feel unwelcome and unfairly scrutinized. If this is how customers are treated, I would reconsider returning to the store in the future.
That said, I do want to acknowledge that the other staff members were kind and helpful during my visit, particularly the staff member who helped me find the best match for a difficult color. I truly appreciated her assistance.
I hope this feedback is helpful and that future customers will have a more welcoming experience.

I recently purchased a jacket from Whistles and have been extremely disappointed with both the product quality and the customer service experience.
the jacket arrived with creases that simply won’t come out, and one of the buttons is already hanging off. When I initially contacted customer service, I was told the creasing was due to how I was caring for the jacket and that I should arrange repairs myself, which felt dismissive and unhelpful.
I was then informed that I couldn’t return the item to a store and would instead need to post it to their repair agent. However, no suitable packaging is provided, meaning I’m expected to source that myself. This adds unnecessary inconvenience to an already frustrating situation.
What’s been most disappointing is the time and effort I’ve had to spend trying to resolve this. I’ve received incorrect and, at times, contradictory information, and despite multiple emails, it feels like my concerns still haven’t been properly understood. This isn’t about the cost, it’s about the inconvenience and lack of clear, consistent support.
I have since requested a refund, but this has been ignored.
Overall, this experience has left me very disappointed. Poor product quality combined with poor customer service is not what I expected

A pair of shoes I purchased on line developed a fault. It was very easy to chat on line and upload photos of the fault. An immediate decision was made to issue a refund and a free returns label was issued . I’m just sorry that the fault occurred as I loved the shoes! Very pleased with the ease of the process
