Wenger refuses to honor warranty
Bought a watch by Wenger through Amazon.de. It appeared to be defect after two years. I contacted Wenger, but they did not want to take any responsability, since "Amazon is not an authorized sales point". Huh? There’s even a 'Wenger shop' at Amazon!
After consulting Amazon on this (also surprised about the attitude of Wenger) and resending invoice etc., Wenger advised us to send the watch to Watch World, a repair service in the Netherlands. That appeared to be a club with a vague site, an unanswered phone and no replies to serveral emails.
After 20 mails or so with the 'customer service' of Wenger (Victorinox), I gave up. Bye Wenger.
